Maksym came out (he told me he was the owner of this company). to evaluate the condition of my furnace and air conditioner. I will be the first to admit that he was not necessarily dressed in a professional-looking uniform or carried booties with him. (We take off our shoes in the house, so that gesture is appreciated.) He just had a very simple, mellow, no-nonsense vibe about him that I really appreciated. He fairly thoroughly tested both systems, but unlike others, did not charge anywhere from $69 to $89 "diagnostic" fee. Which I greatly liked. Also, when I asked other technicians, "So, how long do you think my furnace and the air conditioner will last given its current condition?" They would hem and haw and refuse to answer. Look, I get it, you don't want to say that it will last 2 years and have it fail in 6 months, nor be accused of trying to falsely drum up business by saying, "I don't think this furnace will last you this winter.", but Maksym, told me that he didn't think the air conditioner would fail this summer, but that it was a matter of time before it died. I appreciated his willingness to answer, and I am not a customer who would get angry at him if the AC happened to die this summer and leave a nasty review saying, "He said it would survive the summer!" To be clear, I did not have Maksbuilder install or repair anything, and my rating of this company is solely based on Maksym's demeanor and the work he did diagnosing my air conditioner and furnace. read more
