I had a problem with the display panel for my double oven. Aisen was kind enough to dig into exactly what was wrong and found that the part was no longer available. I had a great experience with Asien! My AC suddenly stopped blowing cold air, and I was worried it was going to be a major and expensive repair. The technician arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and took the time to thoroughly diagnose the system instead of jumping to conclusions. He quickly identified that the issue was a failed capacitor, explained everything clearly, and even showed me the old part and the testing process so I understood exactly what had gone wrong. The repair was completed efficiently, and my AC was back to blowing cold air the same day. It's hard to find companies you can trust, and this experience definitely earned my confidence. They were the first to reach out and scheduling was easy as they were able to come a couple of hours after I sent a request out. The best part of the process was that he diagnosed the issue for free, did it quickly, gave me a quote, and was out the door with the fix within 30 minutes. Went from a broken air conditioner to a functioning one all before the kids were back home from school. Highly recommend Aisen for his professionalism and efficiency. read more

Contacted business at 8pm about broken AC the day before the hottest day of a heatwave, he contacted right away and scheduled to come out the next morning. He came at the beginning of the 2 hour window that was given and was able to fix it within half an hour. He was very quick and efficient, would hire again. read more

I used Yelp to send out a request for a checkup of my two old split air conditioner/furnace systems, and Ace (the owner of this business) responded immediately with a text. I have not yet received any response from the other a/c companies I sent requests to, so I was impressed by this speed of communication. Not only that, he came over on the same day, within just a few hours, and spent a long time patiently answering my questions and analyzing my a/c setup, all for a single low check-up fee. We might have him do a bit more work, and are waiting on an estimate. If so, I'll come back and edit this review with the additional info! So far, I strongly recommend this business. *Okay, we went ahead with the request for adding coolant to our a/c system and swapping out one of our vent covers so we could redirect more air to my office and less to the living room. Ace is a font of wisdom regarding air conditioning, and provided me with a ton of advice while going above and beyond with the work he did today, at a more affordable price than what seems to be the average based on my googling and chatgpt-checking. I took tons of notes, and I think his ideas will help cool my office much better than before. (It's always been too hot for me; can't wait to try!) Highly recommended! read more

Aisen and High Side has been the best experience we've had with getting our AC fixed. Aisen was super responsive (especially in this current heat wave!), extremely honest, and carefully explained everything as he went. We received a couple quotes from other technicians who wanted to do a complete replacement of our system vs. Aisen who was able to diagnose the issue to something much simpler (and cost efficient) to fix. Would definitely recommend Aisen and High Side and work with them in the future if needed. Thank you! read more

Highly recommend this company. Responsive, reliable, professional, excellent communication & quality work. We had a 26yr old HVAC system that literally melted down. We had to have an entire replacement and it was a big project. It was a lot of work. They made sure everything worked correctly and returned to make adjustments in the new system as necessary. We will be calling him for all HVAC & Appliance work. Thank you, Aisen & Staff- for your hard work & integrity. read more

They were able to quickly diagnose my problem with a leaking condensation runoff and do a simple reroute to fix the issue.

The most honest repair company I have worked with. Other companies were quoting several hundred dollars for something that ended up being a very easy fix and didn't end up costing me anything as the technician told me how to do it over the phone. Will use for any and all repairs in the future as this type of service is unfortunately so hard to come by. THANK YOU!! read more

Requested a quote here and was returned with an insanely fast response. My Viking fridge needed repair and was blowing hot air. Aisen came promptly on time to look at the damage and gave me a quote right away. He was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem and what needed to be done. He got the parts super fast and was able to come back and fix the fridge. Everything turned out well. There was no B.S and extra hidden fees as he showed me the cost of everything before coming back to repair the fridge. This was an awesome deal and was very happy that I didn't have to pay a lot of money compared to other places that charge you just to pull out the fridge. I would definitely contact this place again in the future for any appliance repairs. read more

We are incredibly happy with the service and Aisen, the tech and owner! Our almost new refrigerator had an unexpected leak, causing water to pool in front of it. We first contacted Al-Fix at 3:30, and to our delight, Aisen arrived by 4:30, OF THE SAME DAY! He quickly determined the issue and fixed it right away. His pricing is not only reasonable but also competitive. It's been over a week since the service, and the problem hasn't returned. We HIGHLY recommend this company! read more

Quick response and follow-up with on-site evaluation and estimate of the job. Fair and reasonable quote. Explained well the steps to do the job and also provided videos, which were helpful as the job being the replacement of the bathroom vent/duct in the attic. Professional and good attention to details. Would recommend. read more

Our dryer decided to give out on us, and we stumbled across Aisen and AL-FIX appliance repair on Yelp. So we decided to give him a call. He was very polite and booked us an appointment for an assessment the next day. When he arrived, he was confident and all business. It took less than a minute for him to come to the conclusion of our dryer's issue. He promptly ordered the parts (which was a new motor) and secured us a spot for the next morning. There were a couple hurdles when he began fixing the dryer, which required additional parts to complete the job. Aisen was a pro, and although it required more parts, effort and him coming back a few days later, our dryer is fixed like new, and he didn't charge us an extra penny for the extra parts and labor. AL-FIX appliance repair deserves 5 stars, for excellent knowledge of the job, timeliness on arrival, fair price and honestly with the job being completed. We will definitely be calling again if we ever have any issues with any appliance repairs. Thanks Aisen, our family appreciates you! read more

5 star experience with High Side HVAC, they were able to come out and resolve the issue the same I called. Honest service with quality work. Will definitely come back. Thank you, High Side! read more

The review is for their office person that responds to inquiries. I sent out a fridge repair request via yelp projects and AL-fix was one of the people to respond. Told them exactly what the issue was (freezer door handle broke) and sent them photos of the fridge and broken part. We were moving in less than a week so were on a tight timeline. They quoted $50 to send someone to take a look. I told them I don't want them to come out unless they had the replacement part in hand because we didn't have time to wait around. The person responding assured me they would have the part or it would take only 1 day to order. The repair guy arrived and didn't know anything about my prior convo with his office. When I told him they said they could get the part in 1 day he looked at me like I was crazy. He told me it would take way longer. Given they couldn't guarantee a fix by the time we had to move out of the house we sent him on his way but they still charged me $50 which is what I was trying to avoid! Do not believe anything they tell you to get you to set an appointment with them. read more
