    Cockroach in table

Well... I had ordered from here the other day. It was good. I went in tonight to pickup a pizza and there were roaches crawling on the tables and floor.

This is our leftovers since I was too busy to take pictures at the party, but Pepperoni pizza and barbecue wings

We got Mayback's catering for my daughter's birthday party and we were pretty happy!! They have amazing prices. We got a deal of 3 sheet pizzas, 50 wings, and a full antipasto tray for only $160 dollars. We got it delivered and the delivery was mostly on time, so I was happy since it was for a child's birthday. There was so much food and we had so much leftover! Everything was just as ordered, and the antipasto had so many different veggies, which I was impressed by. I have had better pizza, which is the sole reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. It was still delicious, just a little less delicious than our usual pizza haunts! But definitely keep them in mind if you need catering for a party!

    My "hot sausage sub".

First time back in NY in 20 years. Seen local sandwich shop. Yes! Yummy NY subs. Got the sausage and pepper Sub. I was expecting a big bun with a giant sausage link covered in cheese and sauce . Got a subway sandwich with sliced..yes slices of sausage. No sauce. No yummy good cheese to burn your face. It tasted ok. Not great. Was the only one in the place and took about 20 mins to get sandwich. Not a huge amount of time but basically could have got the same thing from firehouse or Jimmy John's.

Mayback I'm amazed at the way you feed me all the time. Mayback I'm amazed at the way these slices fill you. Hey. I just went here. And this is crazy. But here's my review. So call them, Mayback? I enjoyed this slice a lot, I liked it slightly better than the nearby Macy's Place (not a department store), but my pizza-companion liked the Macy's one a little better. Both were very solid 4/5 slices, but I'd have to try them again to see if it can go one better and become a 5. Certainly it was delicious. The pepperoni was perfect, the cheese was generous, it was a typical Buffalo slice, easy on the sauce, not too sweet, with very juicy greasy almost-burned but delicious crust. Buffalo is full of these little family-owned pizza places, you could literally eat at a different one every night for 3-4 months, I would imagine, and still not have to leave Western NY and never have to order from a chain. And if the Bills get their act together next year, then I Mayback them to make the play offs, but then again, I maynot.

Large cheese pizza. Thin, dry, cardboard-like crust, and flavorless sauce. :-(

We used to frequent the Mayback's on Niagara Falls Boulevard when we lived closer to it, and really enjoyed the food. We recently tried takeout from this Mayback's location, expecting a similar experience. But sadly, no, not even close. Actually, I'm not even sure if the two Mayback's are related now. We ordered a large pizza and 20 wings combo, a half cheese sub, and a falafel plate. We ordered for pickup using the DoorDash app, which was easy enough, and pickup was ready on time, with easy lot parking. But when we arrived, we were told they do not carry the falafel plate anymore. This was a downer for our vegan daughter, not sure why they don't remove it from their menu if they don't have it anymore. They replaced it with a chef salad. The salad was just basic and okay. The only food in our spread that was good was the chicken wings. My husband and son shared them, half hot and half garlic parm. They weren't huge wings, but meaty enough and cooked well. The pizza on the other hand, SO SAD! :-( Now this pizza came as part of a combo with 20 wings for $42. So we were expecting a decent quality Buffalo-style pizza for that $20+ dollar price tag. But no, it was cardboard crust, not doughy at all. It seemed like it was from frozen. Neither the crust nor the sauce had any noticeable flavor. The sauce tasted like something straight out of a can. If it was a bargain-basement ten dollar pie, fine. But way overpriced for this dud of a pizza. The half cheese sub was an overpriced fail, as well. For ten bucks, I was expecting a nicely stuffed sub. Toppings beyond lettuce, tomato, and onions are all 75-cents each additional, and I added banana peppers. But the toppings were moderate at best, even with that upcharge, and the roll was TINY! It wasn't a half sub roll, but like a steak sandwich mini-sub roll. And the sub itself wasn't a taste masterpiece, just okay and skimpy. Sadly we were mostly disappointed with our Mayback's pickup, and will not be returning anytime soon.

Good taste, very crispy but very small!

We went with the medium pizza, with one topping, small wings and an order of fries and two drinks. $25 not to bad all. Tasty food, pizza was good we looked the crust, the wings were really really small. Not sure if we would return with many other choices in the area for pizza and wings.

I was driving and saw this place, so I thought to try it. To my surprise it was quite good. As I walked in the place was quite clean and has a seating of about 20 people. The was room is locked and only for paying customer. The menu has a lot of options, I went with their specialty pizza option and got their Veggie Pizza to go. The pizza was very good and loaded with the topping they had mentioned ( green/ black olives, sweet peppers and mushrooms). The pizza was off the oven and fresh. The person at the till was very helpful and friendly.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). When you first enter, there is a phenomenal selection of specialty pies, and all are included in their two slice & soda special for $9. They offer both fountain sodas and a generous selection of refrigerated drink options also. Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. Now, the thing is, everyone likes different kinds of pizza, and apparently Brooklyn style isn't necessarily our jam, but for something we really don't like (black crust), it was still very good and we would highly recommend it to people who like more cooked pizza.

I'm a member of their rewards program and once in a while, they'll send me a coupon for $5 off, or a certain percentage off of my next order. So, when I get one of these rewards, I make sure to take advantage and order a pie! Shoutout to the staff as they're always friendly and courteous. I need to praise how open and honest they are, which was put on full display with a recent order. One Pie Pizza Co. bakes a truly authentic Buffalo-style pizza with an airy, doughy undercarriage, a balanced chewy, crispy crusty, plenty of mozzarella cheese and sweet red sauce with cup-n-char pepperoni, but I like my dough, the undercarriage, to be a bit more cooked, firm, crispy, so I've been requesting "extra crispy on the bottom/underneath" more recently. But the way One Pie Pizza Co. cooks their pizzas makes that request a little more difficult as they use a conveyor belt process, so when ordering online there are two "Special Instructions" options: LIGHT WELL DONE and WELL DONE (Dark, crispy crust with charred edges). I've been trying to figure out which of these options would offer the more firm, crispier dough I want, so I ended up talking to some of the staff working there and explained my conundrum. They were wonderful in hearing me out and suggesting how I should place my order to get what I am looking for. So, what's the way to get the dough more firm, crispy underneath? Order your pizza LIGHT WELL DONE and ask if they could put your pizza on top of the oven for 10 minutes before they put it into the oven to cook it! The dough might raise up a bit more, but it should help pre-heat, cook the dough a little bit more. Of course, nothing wrong with adding a note asking for extra crispy on the bottom, underneath. I've ordered a few times in 2026 and each time my order has been a QTR Sheet (six slice) cheese, pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, and ricotta cheese pizza, LIGHT WELL DONE cook/extra crispy on the bottom, underneath. This is an excellent pizza, with tons of toppings on each slice and plenty of ricotta cheese ladled on top. Drizzle a little hot honey to add a little sweet kick. This pizza never fails to leave me happy and full. I will say, their pizza might be on the pricier end in Buffalo, but it's worth it. One Pie Pizza Co. certainly earned, and deserves its high marks and regards within the Buffalo pizza community! I'm glad to keep them in my list of go-to Buffalo pizza shops.
