I came here passing by, "Cholos" and didn't get to spend much time drinking the wine as when I arrived they were closing. Despite the time, we were able to get a seat and get a drink. Felt bad because whoever was working was the only one and she was running back and forth. I'd say if she weren't closing that it's a great place to have a wine and maybe get some quick bites. When we got the check, the book she used to provide the check was entertaining.

Come for happy hour! The small tapas are the perfect size! We split the dinner scallops, tapas paella, and tapas fried chicken. The food comes out pretty fast for the amazing quality that it is. Aiden was an excellent server and the atmosphere is calm & chill- perfect after a hot beach day. Reasonable prices have made this place a new favorite!

Maya's is a nice little local wine & pupu establishment . Their "happy hour" menu is great but the portions are very small, so you need to order a few to share. I have enjoyed everything I've order and the burger is amazing! When seated outside, you're facing a fairly busy parking lot. But it's not a huge bother or distraction. The only downfall lately has been the service. Lack of attentiveness, no water refills, no mention of any desserts, etc.

Decided to get away from the chaos at Waikīkī and drive north to Haleiwa to grab some lunch. We stumbled upon the north shore marketplace and noticed this cute restaurant tucked away in a corner. As soon as we walked over, we were greeted by the hostess/server and were immediately seated. I ordered the coconut lemonade and veggie sandwich(minus the goat cheese) with garlic shoestring fries. My husband ordered the fresh catch of the day sandwich with salad & their house white wine. Everything tasted divine and so fresh! The combination of their overall kindness and great quality food makes this an exceptional place to come to. Next time I'm back in Haleiwa I will definitely come back to support this wonderful little restaurant.

We decided to give this place a try for lunch. My friend had never been & im visiting so we went for it. We decided to order 2 different things so we could try both. Gyro - good flavor. Not greasy. Nothing to rave about BUT if you order this you won't be upset. I'd have it again. Classic Cheeseburger- great flavor. I really liked the bun. It was really soft and tasty. I think you'd be happy to order this. Fries are garlic fries but not dripping in garlic. It was a nice flavor and I felt like I could talk to people after! Parking - easy it's a big parking lot. Price - medium price. I'm on vacation so I expect to spend a certain amount on food. Service - our server was just lovely. She may have been an owner I didn't ask. But she answered all our questions & check on us enough that we didn't want for anything - but not so much that we felt invaded. I recommend this for a lovely lunch on the deck. 3.5 stars rounded to 4

Had an enjoyable evening out here with good food and good wine. Reservation-making was super easy online early in the week for 7pm on a Friday. They called to confirm that afternoon. We arrived a little early, but the table wasn't quite ready to turn so we browsed the art shop next door while we waited. We were seated and ordered a cocktail. They seem to be short on menus, so we had to share, but that wasn't an issue. We ordered lobster macaroni to start, i picked a couple tapas dishes and my dining partner chose an entree plate. They asked if they could just bring things out as they were ready and we had no problem with that. My Brussels sprouts came out first and they were the star of the evening. A little salty but absolutely delicious. The lobster macaroni had huge chunks of lobster. The night's special paella was available in two sizes. The saffron flavor really came through. I didn't love the clam but the mussel and shrimp were good. They have an interesting wine list with varieties and source regions not seen in many local restaurants. I opted for a Lebanese wine, which I'd never had before. It was a blend of mostly cabernet sauvignon, which is not my favorite, but it nicely stood up to the earthiness of my meal. Dessert was okay - they have two creme brulee options, which I ordinarily go for, but the banana empanadas just called my name. They (and the cheesecake) were good, but nothing I would crave again for next time. Heaps of free parking in the lot. Friendly service. Highly recommended!

I hesitated long before giving three stars. I decided to come here after seeing the reviews for the happy hour. It seemed like a great way to try a bunch of items in the true nature of tapas. We ordered two items from the happy hour menu, the papas "fries" and the roasted cauliflower. We were going to order all the items, but I'm so glad we waited until one of the dishes arrived. I could not hide my shock. The papas "fries" came out and it was the most embarrassing thing I've seen served in a long time. The plate is tiny. Think tea cup plate. It was such a disappointment. I genuinely would be embarrassed to serve that, especially at the ripe price of $10. The cauliflower was really good, but again... I think we got two cauliflower pieces in total. This was also $10 dollars. I really wanted a comparison, so I ordered the papas bravas from the main menu. It was like ordering from a whole different restaurant. For $6 more dollars you get a much larger portion, actual goat cheese, chorizo, and cubed potatoes. The taste difference was also night and day. Happy hour menu feels like they're mad at you for even ordering off of it. I would have rather paid the extra for both of the larger portions than to pay more than half of the price for 1/3 of the food. This makes no sense. Just take the happy hour off. It is a genuine rip off and it gives this place a very bad look. All in all, I came excited and hungry. I left dissatisfied and still hungry.

Bone marrow was perfect cooked & the topping was tasty

Ambiance was cozy & service was excellent but the happy hour doesn't match with their website and their actual happy hour menu doesn't offer to many choices and the serving size is very small & so we ordered off their regular menu and $120 later we were still hungry. Their fall beer was interesting that it tasted like pumpkin pie rim with beer on tap. I am not sure if the 1.5 hr drive was worth it for us but we will definitely try other neighboring restaurants (Cholo's)

Cozy cafe vibe found right in the market place. Came on a Thursday after the lunch rush so not overly crowded. Espresso martinis and food came fast. My friend was very happy lobster roll did not have celery lol and my fish tacos were nice and crispy.

My best friend lives in Waialua so the girls make the trek out to Northshore to visit her. Mayas in one of our favorite places to eat at! Make reservations on open table so that you will get sat right away. We always go right at 5pm because that's when it opens and that's also Happy Hour! We usually order most of the happy hour specials and add their brussell sprouts and veggie flat bread (it's not on the menu so ask for it) we've always had friendly service and the food is perfect for sharing among friends. They have indoor and outdoor seating available and it's a popular place so remember to make reservations! There is something for everyone and if you are vegetarian there's a lot of yummy selections here as well. After dinner we walk next door and get Gelato for dessert. Perfect dinner on the northshore!

I swear I looked at the menu for about a week going back and forth between burgers or sandwich. I finally just decided whatever comes out when I'm ordering is it. I was told that parking is hard to get but someone was looking out for me and I was lucky enough to find a spot behind the restaurant. One of our group parked out front and said she had a hard time getting back out onto Kamehameha. I ended up getting a bacon burger with cheddar cheese. It's pretty basic for me but I was excited for it. We got take put and the wait was a little long but understandable due to the time of day we came. Ordering and payment was easy and then we just kept to the side and waited for the orders. Man it was so busy! When we first got inside it was packed but while we waited for our order so many people came in to pick up orders and the crowd thinned. This would have been great if we were eating in. Maybe next time. By the time I opened my baggie I was starving but the burger was quite large... I only got the 1/3 lb and then! It was cooked a little closer to medium well but that was fine cause that's how I like it. Surprisingly the burger wasn't dripping but it still tasted juicy. I also ate every bite. Didn't finish off all my fries though. Super unlike me to have leftover fries but it was still yummy later when I ate it. Just a quick zap in the microwave. I'm so happy that we decided to get lunch here and I'm looking forward to coming back! I promise it won't be another 10 years.

Just good food, made with real hands and real care. I ordered the Mushroom Burger, and it honestly changed the game for me. The patty was juicy and seasoned just right, layered with sautéed mushrooms that added this deep, earthy flavor -- like comfort cooked slow. The melted cheese pulled everything together in perfect balance, and the toasted bun held its own without ever getting in the way. Every bite was messy in the best way -- the kind you have to close your eyes for and just feel. The vibe here? Pure aloha. You walk in and feel like you've been here before -- like this is where everyone goes when they just need a good meal and a moment to breathe. The staff are chill, friendly, and full of that easy local kindness that can't be faked. It's the kind of place where time slows down -- where you sit outside, taste the salt in the air, and let the flavors remind you how good life can be in its simplest form. Final Thoughts: Haleʻiwa Burgers isn't just about burgers -- it's about the feeling after the last bite. That quiet, content, "yeah, this is it" kind of happiness.

I remember his burger bun was purple, from the taro root ingredients. Mentally, I added it to my list, for next time. My nephew had never been to the Northshore before, and has rarely had a real vacation in his young run on the planet. His partially-genuine question was amplified by the inherent organic qualities of the lunch experience. Namely, the serene backyard surroundings of Farm to Barn's property. The picnic bench tables. His bare feet on the grass, manifesting a closer connection to the earth (which fortunately, he only mentioned once - we all know the someone who would've mentioned it 6 times, or so). My older sister added her coconut granola bowl was the best acai-adjacent bowl she's ever encountered, in the handful of years she's discovered such meals exist. And my breakfast burrito, aka my fav. food, was top 5 for sure. The yard chickens cruised us, hoping to get some scraps. But, we all made the most of our post-hike meal. One would think, photos would've been taken, during such a moment... but nope! Too busy enjoying family, and food, and the ultimate healthy Hawaii vibe, that this spot effortlessly provided. There's a ton of great food options on this stretch of the Northshore, but hard to imagine not coming here every visit, from now on.
