Expectations not high, but food was flavorless, high priced and the chicken for the sweet and sour chicken tasted like it had been fried with fish or in oil that had a fish flavor. NEVER AGAIN!! I'm not intending this to be so much of a review as maybe a PUBLIC WARNING.... Staff is fairly rude and unaccommodating but, that's NOTHING compared to the food quality. I've had their food several times and more than once now, I'm fairly certain it's actually caused adverse effects on my health. The following has occurred to me more than once DIRECTLY after eating their food.... I've asked the lady taking the orders in the past if they're using organic veggies to which she replied "organic, yes". This MUST BE A LIE because I've noticed when I've ate their food a few times now, not only does it cause all kinds of uncomfortable inflammation in my chest, it also causes my skin to start breaking out and erupting like a damn volcano (especially on the forehead and face. (this most recent experience is why I've decided to write this review, and I DON'T usually write customer reviews for anything) I have NEVER had this problem when the food I'm eating is actually organic, or at least made from better quality ingredients. If I had to guess, I'd say it's because they're probably using the cheapest freeze dried meats, GMO veggies and cooking it all the cheapest GMO manmade vegetable oils they can find. I seriously doubt ANYTHING they serve is actually made in the kitchen. Fairly certain this will be my last time eating their food unless it comes down to facing actual starvation. (and even then, starving might be the healthier option) I had to learn the hard way, if you've made it this far I STRONGLY suggest you heed my warning so you don't have to as well. read more

First time to Anaconda, Montana. We came over for a Softball Tourney last day here and was happy to see there was a Chinese place in town. The waitress seemed a little short and rude not the best start. Smiled at the kid that delivered the food didn't have the courtesy to smile back. Not the most inviting vibes. The food was mediocre. I was the only one walked in at 4p to eat, there were some people in the attached casino however. The food came out in less than 5 minutes but it was steaming hot! I decided to try a dish I've never tried at any Chinese restaurant, Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. It came with a plethora of perfectly cooked veggies! The menu didn't seem to mention it but you also get a choice of soup and rice. I got hot and sour soup and paid the extra $1 for fried vs white rice. I thought it would have pork or something in it but it was just rice in soy sauce or something similar, not worth the extra dollar, now I know! My fiancé and I stop by now and then when we're in Anaconda and always leave full and happy. She has been coming since grade school and I'm glad she introduced me. We don't come for atmosphere, instead we come for delicious and filling asian cuisine and are always satisfied. The servings are generous and we tend to have leftovers to enjoy later. read more

Stopped in traveling on business. Odd little place, has a full bar... kind of. Cash only, pay as you go. There is a casino attached/in the establishment. I was the 2nd table in the whole place at 6:30 on a Wednesday. Food was quick. My meal was good. I had a combo meal and was just the right portion. Service was okay at best, not great. Yelled across the room to check to see how things were tasting. I think I would eat here again but maybe just takeout. read more

Helen is the very best! Very fast service. Great for pickups or dining in. Try the pan fried noodles and popo platter. My families favorite place to go. When my son is sick their egg drop soup is his go to for feeling better. read more

This place has the most unique shrimp I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. It's called Phoenix shrimp (though it comes in a chicken too). The shrimp are very lightly breaded and then fried with lots of fresh broccoli and served in a sweet and tangy white sauce. The owner was even kind enough to tell me how he made the sauce. The fried rice is outstanding and they even have a super fried rice that comes with full size shrimp, pieces of chicken and pork and some peas and carrots. The only thing that wasn't up to or above par was the Chinese pork. I think it was prepackaged and not to be recommended. My uncle had the Allmond shrimp and is quite picky. He was very happy! After reading the other reviews I'm not sure we were in the same town let alone the same restaurant. The food was appallingly bad. The hot and sour soup tastes like watered down beef stew, the Chinese pork was so bad it looked like it had been freeze and thawed a few times before we had the luck to get them served to us. Dropping $35 for lunch and getting this quality is def why I won't be ever going back, I should have known when no one else was in the restaurant and everyone was at taco time this was a bad choice from the get go. read more
