I travel a lot and I get a good idea of what cultural foods should taste like because of that. I would categorize this as an Americanized Chinese restaurant. There is really nothing special about it. Typical menu items, typical sauces and combinations. Lots of pork stuff. Overall atmosphere is very nice. The dining area is clean and the dishes are not generic. Glasses are glass. It has the feel of a high end Asian restaurant inside and the staff is very courteous and accommodating. I did not wait long for service, my beverage, my appetizer or my main entree. Presentation was great. Vegi's were fresh and stir fried perfectly. Rice was delicate and also perfectly cooked. My appetizer was the crab wontons, always a favorite. Portion size was normal and they were filled well, maybe a little too well, because the inner part of the wanton was still a little too doughy for my liking. They had a good flavor though. My main dish was the Szechuan chicken, I like this dish because it is usually both a little sweet and a little spicy. This dish was just salty, no spice, no sweet. The sauce looked good but had no flavor except salt. Everything was cooked to perfection but the taste of the dish was flat. Overall it was an acceptable meal. Triple the prices for all of the menu items shown here. It's about 20$ a plate on average. Except for lunch. read more

Went here tonight with a friend and we both loved the food. I got the Sweet and Sour combo and got enough food for about 3-4 meals at least! Very fair prices for the large portions, food came out really fast and service was very friendly. I can't wait to go back! read more

I can see why this place is highly rated. Fast, friendly service. The Mongolian beef was tender and not chewy, general tso's chicken was good and crunchy, not overly sweet. Good size portions for the lunch special. Will definitely be back! read more

STELLAR!!! We were advised to give this place a try, so we did last night. We were delighted by how good everything was. The service and food was excellent. The restaurant itself was fairly small in size but very clean. Our server literally anticipated every need usually before we asked her for something. Appetizers (crab Rangoon and pot stickers) were stellar and I could have just ordered more and made a meal of that, but I'm glad we tried the entrees as well. We had orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, broccoli beef, beef lo mein and an order each of pork and beef fried rice. All dishes were excellent and clearly were just made. Prices were about what we'd pay elsewhere, maybe a tiny bit more, but considering the quality and service it was clearly worth it. The fried rice may have been the best I've ever had. This was our first time dining here. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our order included: Sesame Chicken - crispy, and full of flavor. You can customize the spice level. Very large portion. Shrimp and vegetables in lobster sauce - the shrimp were very large and you get a lot of them. The lobster sauce tasted like real lobster & the fresh steamed vegetables were so tender. Very large portion. Egg rolls - stuffed full of perfectly seasoned pork and tender veggies, with a thick crunchy exterior. Wonton soup - came with 3 wontons plus additional pieces of chicken, steamed broccoli, carrots & peas. The broth was so rich & unctuous. Everything came out piping hot! The Chinese mustard had great heat and the service was super speedy. The atmosphere was minimalistic and too quiet for my preference, but the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The total bill was $57 excluding tip. We will definitely make the 30 minute drive to eat here again. read more

Family owned, no doubt about it. The entire family sat at the round table by the kitchen entrance. With that said, this place was AWESOME for a small town Chinese Restaurant! We had the Hot & Sour soup to start and it was INCREDIBLE! I could have had several more bowls of that and just made that my meal. We also had the sweet & sour shrimp/prawns and Mongolian beef with a side of fried rice. Our other son had the Lo Mein with all the different meat! Updating my review: I go here all the time now. The food is delicious, a little on the pricey side but considering they have to travel for groceries, its not too bad. Stopped in Three Forks on our way home from Bozeman for a meal at the Peking China Restaurant on Main Street across the road from the Sacagawea Hotel. Friends had recommended the food in the past and our timing was perfect. Best decision we've made in a long time. The restaurant is mid-sized, but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Service was fast, friendly and helpful. We each ordered "combos" (2 entrees in each) so we could sample four different selections. Our food was quickly served and was quite hot, accompanied by excellent egg drop soup and a crispy egg roll. The entrees: sesame chicken, cashew chicken, sweet & sour pork, and Szechuan beef had distinct flavors and were cooked perfectly. Certainly among the best Chinese cooking we've ordered in Montana, if not the very best. Comfortable and clean restaurant, pleasant staff, fast service, fair prices, extensive menu, great food, and large portions. We couldn't ask for more. They earned five stars. read more

**This is my first food review ever!** We stayed at Missouri Headwater State Park and didn't want to drive all the way to Bozeman (especially since we're going to stay there next). We wanted to go somewhere close and didn't seem to have a ton of options. This place caught us by surprise. They don't have a ton of reviews or photos but it was AMAZING! (Which is why I wanted to share my experience) I'm part Asian and have come to be particular when it comes to Asian food and this exceeded any expectations. I got the #5 combo that came with egg drop soup, an egg roll, general Tao chicken, chicken lo main, and egg fried rice- all for $17. My fiancé got the beef lo main $13.50. I wish I could share the photos before we started eating bc the presentation was nice as well. It seems as authentic as you can get when it comes to Chinese food in the US. New owners as of December 2019. We were traveling through Montana and decided to it. Very good American Chinese food. A pleasant atmosphere, and the service was very good. The young couple running the restaurant seemed very friendly and service oriented. We had one of the combinations and everything met expectations. The sweet and sour pork was crispy and good, fried rice was excellent. If you are in the mood for Chinese, this should satisfy you. Update, traveled back through in mid February 2020. The place is under new ownership. Having eaten Chinese food at numerous establishments around the state, the restaurant in Baker, MT was always the best, until today. I had the #3 Combo. Beef Broccoli was flavorful, beef was not rubbery, broccoli was cooked nicely as well. Sweet and sour pork was not heavy with grease. Light, crispy with a sweet and sour sauce that was not overly syrupy. Egg roll was very good, and the hot mustard made me cry. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. read more

Update I went again and tried their combination plate. I will say that the "generic Chinese" was my thought when I ate it. They are really authentic in some regards, but sometimes generic as well. They are consistent too. I had the pork fried rice and it was just as good as last time. Next time I'm going to try their hot pot! I really do enjoy this place, it's still the best Asian place near Bozeman I've experienced.
