Great food- big portions! Was very happy with our food here. I got the ginger chic with broccoli and it was great sauce and crisp veggies.

I was talking to the kitchen staff and told them that AI told me about the dumplings and to please hold an order in case I had to take it to go. Front of house Staff were great, the kitchen were guys amazing, and the place was clean The ppl I sat around were all very happy with their food. One couple lived in Bozeman and the other couple were from New Orleans. They both spoke highly of the place. Go try it. Call ahead. I tend to wing it and that's not the best way to go. I got lucky :) David

We were visiting Bozeman as part of our Bachelorette Party and found Shan as an option for a dinner…read morespot. They had set menus for larger parties and we figured it would be easier on everyone to not have to pick their own entrees and also get a taste of everything. - PARKING - Large lot in the back that leads to the entrance door! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - We checked in and got seated promptly as we had a reservation. It's dimly lit but the tables are brightened by small lamps. Since we had the set menu, we didn't need to order anything outside of drinks. They kept the dishes coming, until about the last entree and dessert courses. For some reason everything came to a standstill, so we sat there waiting a bit. Then when we were trying to check out, their system died so we had to wait longer for that to get rebooted. - FOOD - We had a HUGE list of food, and wow we were stuffed by the end! I did have a pretty big gripe with the fact almost all the appetizers and a few of the entrees had the same exact topping of cilantro, scallions, peanuts and sesame seeds - it got old after 3 in a row had the same garnish. Some favorites: - Sichuanese Beef Salad - Lazi-Ji Chicken Wings - Green Curry - Coconut and Pandan Tres Leches Cake - Kelly's Coffee Jelly - OVERALL - Besides the repetitive garnish, the food was overall enjoyable and definitely worth the price considering the portions were big, even with the set menu.

The food was good, but not hot as a buffet should be. One gentleman working the whole place…read more Restaurant was very clean and price was OK for an average buffet. Not a lot of selection, but it's not a busy buffet. Good has good flavor. All self serve including drinks. Although garlic shrimp said mild, it definitely had a bite. Overall not much of a buffet.

You've been warned…read more 1. If you are Asian, you will be flatly denied entry. 2. If you are not Asian, you should understand the basic logic and what that says about this place. My wife and I were returning to Seattle after visiting Yellowstone and spent the night in Butte. We found this restaurant on Yelp. We weren't expecting world-class dining--just something reasonably clean and edible. What we did not expect was outright discrimination in 21st-century America--especially from people who, historically, have often been on the receiving end of it. As soon as we walked in, the owner/manager/waiter (all the same person) looked at us and said--in Hong Kong-style Mandarin--"I ask you to consume somewhere else." At first, I didn't even process what he said. My wife understood immediately: we were not welcome here because we looked Asian. Keep in mind, this was an Asian buffet. Once I realized what was happening, I was furious and ready to call the police. My wife pulled me away, reminding me there was no point staying another second. I agreed--but decided that people need to know about this. This isn't only about food quality. It's about basic human decency. And this man has none. Bottom line: Use common sense and basic logic. Stay far away from this place.
