Went in for lunch with a group of 8 just after opening time; we were greeted by a friendly staff who took our orders right away. The line cook, Kylie (sp?) nailed all of our orders, and we all got exactly what we ordered, hot and fresh. The food was excellent, and the place was very clean. Would definitely go again. read more

I ordered a chicken malibu. I picked the Swiss cheese breaded chicken ketchup & mayonnaise. I did not check ham because they would of charge me extra & it comes with it. I was really craving a chicken malibu. What I received was a chicken sandwich with lettuce mayonnaise ketchup. I love this spot! I call it "Gourmet Junk Food" because it's delicious and exactly as you would want it to be served. Food is HOT and made fresh to order! The staff is awesome and I bring everyone I know in here! I'm a big fan of the Reuben sandwich and cheese fries. I have passed by this place for the last 2 1/2 months I've lived here. It doesn't look like much. And it also looks like it's full of fried food, which it is, so when you're in the mood for that this is the place to go! i've heard about the famous pork chop sandwiches around here and I tried one at another place which was nothing to write home about. I must say I just don't get the whole fried pork chop thing out here! i'm not saying it's bad it's just not some incredible delectable delight I would think after the way I hear about it so much! This burger reminds me of a greasy old diner that makes you happy because everybody knows your name and you can get a delicious local Montana ice cream milkshake to add to the fun! I'll be back to try other things one day but I definitely have to be in the mood for unhealthy food! I did appreciate the friendly customer service so that makes up for a lot in my book! read more

O.M.G!!! Everything I've had here is DElicious!! But, the Ham and Swiss is TO DIE FOR!! Anything you order here...you just can't go wrong. Homemade, juicy, cheesy, tasty, flavorful. Not to mention a menu that offers a variety that will fulfill any craving. The outside may look non-descript (altho I think they're working on it), don't keep driving by, STOP IN! mmmmmm Peppermint Patty's. I have family in Anaconda and try to get out here once a year from California. My two favorite Montana staples are pasties and pork chop sandwiches..... PP's has them both! Food is always good, ZERO complaints there. Lack of a star comes from two things.... one is they only take cash or check and two is that food takes a bit of time to come out. However, service is always pretty good. I will continue to come here as long as I'm alive and it is open! read more

Okay....you go to Peppermint patty's to eat pork chops and gravy fries. You can order other things, but your order needs to include pork chops and gravy fries. The fries are very crispy and generally delicious. The pork chop is pretty normal by local standards but Anaconda doesn't have a lot of dining options (this is one of the better ones). Finding your table is something like walking through a corn maze, but I promise your waitress will find you. read more

The food is great, but the staff is amazing! After my car broke down which stranded me in Anaconda for four days I was pretty beat up when I stopped in for dinner. They were so welcoming and compassionate and really went over and above to bless me. I tried their pork sandwich because it was part of their window graphics. I knew it would be good if they advertised it on their window. It was a great pork tenderloin! I ate there all four days. You will love the food and the staff! read more

I ate here once when I was staying for one month at an RV park in Anaconda. I don't think I would ever go back again though, if I had stayed any longer in the area. I got the Halibut Fish basket. The price was $11.00-plus, not cheap. It came with a big handful of french fries, and two chunks of fish. I doubt the two pieces together weighed 4 ounces before being dipped in the batter. That would not have been so bad if the fish didn't taste like it was freezer-burned and very dry. Very unpalatable. Service was good, and I received my meal in a reasonable amount of time. There are not a lot of open restaurants in Anaconda at certain times of the week (evenings and weekends), and I thought myself lucky to find this place open, but truly left there dissatisfied. Maybe other patrons have had good experiences here, but I was not one of them. I say take a pass on Peppermint Patty's, Sorry. read more

We drove out of the way to eat a meal featuring Anaconda's buns (what, what, Sir MixaLot)--and were blown away by Peppermint Patty's. The place was slammed with a softball team, but the cook was on fire pushing out food. The food was great (serious about that pork chop sandwich), the open kitchen was impeccably clean, and the waitstaff were the best... But HANDS DOWN, you should go to Peppermint Patty's in Anaconda because the PEOPLE of Anaconda are the friendliest folks ever. Thank you for being so awesome, Anaconda! read more

Eighth day of road trip and dining out each day. Absolutely the best food and prices. Fresh halibut fish and chips, salad made my wife dance soup tasted home made, fries were over the top. We may do a day trip from Coeur d'Alene just for dinner. The entire staff welcomed us. We felt as though we had entered another demension in time. Awesome sums it up!!!!!
