The World Famous Wise River Club was incredible. We had such a great time. They were able to host our party of 24 with their cabins, hotel rooms and their full hookup RV spots. The restaurant delivered, table for 24 no problem the food and service was great. The bar and live music did not disappoint, even got the bar to sing happy birthday to my son for his 21st. Sam the bartender was incredible with her Huckleberry Moscow Mule drink. We were out scouting where we were going to look for morels this year and forgot to bring snacks. I had not been in Wise River Club for twenty years or so, and took my 15 year old son and wife there. A professional server got me a cold pint and menus straightaway. My wife and I had Wise River Club sandwiches with perfectly fried onion rings, and my son had pulled pork and gave his mac & cheese 10/10. The server managed several tables at once and the bar and made it look easy. Lynyrd Skynyrd's guitar was cool for me and my wife (Thai) liked the bear on the ceiling. We were really looking forward to coming here! My parents who live in Dillon mt, told us that the service and food is great. So we get to the place and mind you, we had a reservation. We walk through the door and we tell the waiter we have a reservation and he sits us down at the bar area when we asked to be seated at the restaurant. But whatever we move on and we order our drinks. Tell me why it took almost 15 minutes for us to get our drinks!! Finally when we receive them we order chips and salsa as an appetizer and our meals. So one of the people who was with us ordered prime rib, the waiter said that the baked potatoes wouldn't be done for another twenty minutes but we were willing to wait. So we waited like 25 minutes to get our food but the forgot the appetizer until we asked for it. So finally the prime rib comes out with nothing other than the sauce you dip it in. Mind you, you get salad, baked potato, and your sauce. This was ridiculous! Don't go here before 5 pm. Also the workers were drinking when they were cooking our food so that might explain some things! read more

New ownership... Thank God!!!! I came back through Wise River, found out that this place has new ownership and was so pleased. Saw Tim Montana and Michael Ray play here on a random Thursday night. The bartender was clueless. Didn't know what ice cream flavors they had or if they had certain items on the menu. The burger I had was great and so were the onion rings. The bartender ruined the whole thing for me though. They're also suppose to be open for breakfast but they're not open until 11. They also allow people to camp for $10/night. Don't do it!!! It's just an empty field with one picnic table. The campground WiFi only works in the bar and not in the campground. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but left after 1. The mosquitoes were the nastiest I've ever seen. They should be spraying the camp area. read more

Stop here and eat. It is spotlessly clean and all of the beef is local and hand ground. They even shred their own hashbrowns from local potatoes which have not been frozen. Everything here is done right. read more

Possibly the best burger in Montana! clean restaurant, friendly and fast service, fresh home cut fries, good prices. I came back for breakfast and it was excellent - best sausage I've had at a restaurant in ages. First off it was a nice area. Secondly- the owner and employees were all SO friendly. We stayed in the RV area for a week and it was totally accommodating and totally clean. We ate in the restaurant a few times and they had really delicious sandwiches and burgers, the prime rib was outstanding. My husband is a clam chowder "connaseur" and it rocked, might be the best we've had. This is pretty much the only place we want to go and stay! read more

What a fantastic little gem! Went to Crystal Park for the day and stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. Service was wonderful but loved the atmosphere! So eclectic and cozy. While we waited for our appetizer the bartender gave us the pucks for free shuffle board! Our group had the basket of mixed appetizers which was exactly what we were craving along with a bacon cheeseburger, ribeye and the fried chicken. Twice baked potato was a standout and the mixed veggies were awesome. Definitely worth stopping in for a cold microbrew and some food. Plus they have a vintage jukebox! read more

Had an incredibly horrible experience at this bar. We wanted to find someplace to eat and grab a drink, but the minute we walked in the bartender and what seemed to be owner was so rude and aggressive we were quite stunned to be honest. She was so hostile in fact we just decided to leave, which was disappointing because the bar was cute and the food looked good. Hoping this review will help her to work on her customer service skills, as a bar and restaurant very similar is opening a few miles down the road in Divide, and she may find her bar losing quite a bit of business if she continues to chase away paying customers who did nothing to deserve her rude attitude. read more

I recommend not going to this place. When I got there around 11:00 am, there were no fires that were coming down the mountain so I purchased a room for the night. Then around 5:00 pm I looked out the window and the entire side of the mountain was covered in fire, the Alder Creek Fire to be exact, and I got nervous, did not feel safe and did not want to stay there anymore. I tried to get just a half refund back because I didn't stay the night but I did take a shower, which was separate and used by all rooms dorm style, and I did hang out for a few hours eating the food I purchased from their restaurant.  So I thought a half refund was fair and reasonable as it cost $100 a night. The owner refused which is very very sad. She was rude and has a slight attitude problem unfortunately. The fact that I was a veteran and thru hiker with a wildfire visible raging down the mountain had no significance. She is a sad bitter woman that said quote, "I do not care, it doesn't pay the bills."  I left read more

This place has always been our favorite place to go. There was two waitresses that always went outta their way to make sure had everything. We just went in on a Sunday like we always do and they weren't there:( The owner was there and she was very rude to my husband me and my children. She made us feel so unwelcome.
