Great burgers and desserts! Customer service is always good, and the decor is fun. We always stop at Parker's on our way through the state!

This classic All-American diner is located right off I-90 in Drummond, Montana, between Missoula and Butte. Quick word of advice: if you're heading east toward Butte, you'll need to drive through the whole town of Drummond to get back on the interstate. Parker's Restaurant sits conveniently just off the highway and boasts what might be the largest burger menu I've ever seen -- over 100 different options. The interior is eclectic, packed with nostalgic touches like vintage glass Coke bottles and quirky figurines. You can order from printed menus or from the massive chalkboard that runs the length of the restaurant, listing entrees from end to end. Even on a busy late Saturday afternoon, we were greeted promptly and seated right away, though open tables were limited. Our drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and the server was ready for our food order whenever we were. The only downside was the wait time -- about 30 minutes from ordering to the table. I had a tough time choosing, but ultimately went with the Ultimate Patty Melt: two ¼-pound patties, grilled onions, grilled peppers, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing on grilled dark rye. The patties were fresh, thick, and clearly hand-formed in the kitchen. The onions and peppers added great flavor, though I found the Thousand Island a bit lacking. Luckily, their fry sauce was excellent and made a perfect table-side substitute. My buddy ordered the Chili Size, which was massive and also featured two ¼-pound patties. As with any chili dish, the chili itself makes or breaks it -- theirs was solid, loaded with both beans and meat, and you could clearly taste the ground beef in every bite. Service here is super friendly and there is a fun, diner atmosphere. The menu includes a huge number of burgers. Plenty I've never even thought of. We had a bacon cheeseburger, chili cheeseburger and skinny fries. The fries were perfect! The burgers were small but really thick. Unfortunately that meant they were a bit dry. The chili cheeseburger needed more cheese. We will definitely come back and will order the burgers medium rare instead of medium. They had some yummy sounding desserts on the menu. My cheddar 1/2 pound burger was tasty, fresh, juicy, bun was awesome as well, loved the onions rings. Staff was fun, helpful, great humor.

I had to ask for the waitress to wait on us and she had a nasty attitude. The women's restroom was dirty. There was food on the walls and the ceiling. We ordered our food and it took 20 minutes to get it and they were not busy. This is a 101 burger joint and they put a sign out because they ran out of burgers and it was 4:30 in the afternoon. If you find yourself between Butte and Missoula, plan a stop at Parkers! The burger list is extensive with over 135 different combos. Plan on taking a few minutes (or more) to give the options a good read through. Likely you'll have a hard time choosing with so many to choose from. We went with a large group of 7 but had no problem sitting together, worst case you get two tables next to one another. The indoor decor was primarily Coca Cola themed and there was a lot to take in. The waitresses were so helpful and fun, telling us all about the restaurant and their challenge burger that you have 20 min to finish. None of us took that on but we did try the Elvis (banana and peanut butter), the pizza (pepperoni and marinara), piggy backs (two burgers stacked), rodeo (bacon, cheddar, bbq) and the Oscar (crab and avocado). We tried a variety of fries - garlic parm, sweet potato and regular- along with onion rings and all were delicious! So, I have been here several times over the last couple of years, and I just can't say enough about this place. One time I brought some friends of mine in here from out of town, and the special for the day, in terms of an appetizer was escargot. Probably the best I've ever had and I am an aficionado on escargot. Our food has always been wonderful. The menu is so extensive that it's really hard to read through all of it before they come and take your order. Anyway, it's just a great place to come and get great food, great service, and they typically have unbelievable unique desserts made fresh each day. You've got to try this place. read more

Stopped here for Lunch. Can you believe it! This establishment boasts 101 varieties of burgers! The restaurant is clean and Coca Cola nostalgic. Parking can be a challenge for those passing through with an RV. There's no parking for 5th wheels or trailers. We were instantly seated and warmly greeted. Unbeknownst to us, we just barely beat the lunchtime rush. Go early or you'll be waiting! Waitress and staff were pleasantly attentive and thoughtful. We were also happy that we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive at our table. We ordered the Cobb burger with tots and the Double bacon and onion rings with fries. So heading home and we needed food so we decided to stop in a little town called Drummond, MT. The restaurant named "Parker's" is a burger joint that people talk about. So it was the pick for food. Interesting place, coke memorabilia everywhere and other things??? This place is in an old building and could use a serious remodel. Service was friendly and prompt, order taken in a timely manner. The food menu for burgers is like 10 pages so you can order pretty much whatever you can think of putting on a burger. My burger was the bigger than I expected ( I should have read the whole menu closer) I got a Triple hamburger patty with a sausage patty and ham and a fried egg. Who would think that one can find a burger place with OVER 135 different burgers in a tiny little town in Montana? You read right 135 different types of burgers! We were driving on interstate 90 between Butte and Missoula, and I opened my Yelp to find a place to stop and get some lunch. We hit the jackpot with this find! I set the course and told my husband the directions to get to Parker's. The place: There it was -one of the only restaurants in town with white and red painting and a big U.S Flag. We entered and it was so cute inside. Old style restaurant, with lots of colors, antique accents, and more. The owner greeted us and brought us to a both. She brought us the menu and got us some waters. The menu was long and everything sounded good. I went with a bacon cheese burger (boring! I know, I was overwhelmed and did not know what to get!) My husband order the "Mom's meatloaf burger" and he received a "Great choice" from the owner. She also asked if we were OK with the burgers cooked medium. I order a glass of wine. We arrived right at lunchtime, and we were lucky to find a table. The restaurant people seemed to know all the clients in the restaurant. The food: Lunch took about 30-40 minutes but believe me it was worth the wait. Before the burgers came out, the owner brought us some sauces, which they keep in the refrigerator to keep them nice and fresh! My burger came out really nice -juicy and flavorful. It came with waffle fries, and everything was terrific! My husband enjoyed his burger very much too! The meatloaf was to die for! His tater toats were crispy and cooked perfectly! I order a glass of wine to go with the burger yumm! The service: The owner lady was super nice! She knows she is running a business that is just amazing! She was proud of her menu and when she saw us eating and enjoying the meal, I could see her happy. If you are driving close to Drummond or visiting, make sure you add this place to your list! Trying to decide what was better. The food or the service! They were both amazing! Came with my kids. All had a different burger. The Texan, the Cobb, the Fajita, the Elvis, and the Steak and Egg Burger. All amazing! Sweet potato fries and the tots with the fry sauce were incredible. To cap it all off, the mud pie. Food, service and atmosphere were phenomenal. They had me at Buck's No BS burger. While headed west on I-90 after leaving Butte, MT, did not want to wait until Missoula, MT, for lunch. My wife saw Parker's on the map with good reviews. Lived up to the hype. Fell in love with Jennifer (owner since 2011) and her priceless Coca Cola decor (though she prefers drinking Pepsi). On the outside I thought this place was going to be divvy and it kinda is but the quality of the food definitely wasn't. My husband and I are on the road for a ten hour drive home. Usually I don't eat my meal completely but I did today. I ordered the My big fat Greek grilled chicken wrap; it was amazing. The feta was plentiful, sun dried tomatoes, olives, tons of grilled chicken that was flavorful and mixed greens that were fresh! The wrap was a spinach tortilla, the dressing was a balsamic vinaigrette and I ate it all! Travel be damned, this was delicious. Our waitress was friendly and informative, a nice lady. What an amazing selection of burgers. I was skeptical whether it would be good with such a huge menu, but I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, kids burger, and chicken strips. I know, I know.... 3 people, 4 meals?! Slow down judgy-Jane, we were hungry and weren't sure what our 2 year old would like more! At the end of the day, I finished the strips myself. Not to worry, I can handle it, and I'm not mad about it. Food review: Burgers were great. I'd equate them to gourmet "burger stand" style burgers. Which also happen to be my favorite. Fries were "shoe string" if I had to name then, and were also great. Chicken strips seemed homemade and I was a big fan. Service: Family style. I feel like I gained some family members!
