It was slow during our lunch visit and our waitress accommodating. Drinks were served promptly and food followed thereafter. We did have a situation where a regular came in with their dog on a retractable leash and failed to observe them while they chatted with the staff. The dog wound up crossing the restaurant to jump up on our table as we were eating. We're pet lovers, but no one wants your dog in their food. The audacity was astounding. There's a patio conveniently located right outside for situations where you just can't leave your pet at home. The pulled pork was good. The mini chicken tacos were nothing special and the edamame was edible but strange (not sure what dry seasonings were used as ours arrived moist, as though tossed in some variety of oil or maybe buffalo sauce?) I've added menu pictures so others know what to expect here. I'd stick to the times when there is entertainment and drinking is expected. Maybe this is where this restaurant shines. Breakfast and lunch don't seem to have much going for them. Pulled pork is worth a try, but I'd skip the edamame unless they just steam it and serve without seasonings/oil/dressing. Hopefully others will have a better experience than we did. Next time, I think we'll just visit 4B's.

Best cheeseburger that I have had in ages! The bartender was efficient and fun! Overall I will come back! Great location!

Delicious "cell block melt" (patty melt) and pulled pork tacos. I had the house red wine and it was really good. Our server was attentive and very skilled. Highly recommend this place!

    Best shot you'll ever have!

The bar lit up the sign from the 1960s for the first time in years. Someone found it in storage and fixed it up. Nice work, Doug.

Stopped by on our way to Idaho Falls. Clean, non-smoky. Good food, nice bartender. Jerry was a nice guy.

We had the edamame for an appetizer without the spice, but tasted like maybe some on it but not too spicy for us!

This isn't one of those stuffy, velvet-rope wine bars; it's genuinely "New York chic meets Montana," which is the only atmosphere I ever want to be in. The main reason this place is magic? The staff. We had a server who was less of a server and more of a wine wizard. I told them I liked things that were "a little sassy, maybe a bit moody," and they didn't even blink. Instead, they completely crafted the perfect flight of wine flights for us to sample. It was like a personalized, four-course journey for my tastebuds. Every single pour was a winner, and the knowledge they dropped on us was actually interesting and not at all intimidating. I learned more in 30 minutes than I did in a decade of frantically googling "what is terroir?" If you're looking for an amazing wine bar where you can relax, learn something new, and taste truly incredible stuff without feeling like you need a wine degree, this is it. Go for the ambiance, stay for the wine, and definitely let their knowledgeable service steer the ship. They won't steer you wrong. Highly Recommend: Just tell your server to surprise you. It's the best way to do it.

The environment was a perfect place for three old friends to reunite and hear each other speak. I highly recommend this place for the food, drink, and a place where your friends can have a conversation.

He helped guide our choices without being pushy, and his recommendations were spot-on. For his birthday meal, my husband ordered a steak and I had the salmon--both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Evan checked in at all the right times, making sure everything was just right without ever interrupting the flow of our evening. What really set Evan apart was how he elevated the celebration. He acknowledged my husband's birthday in a genuine, thoughtful way that made the night feel special without being overdone. His attention to detail and friendly, professional demeanor made us feel taken care of from beginning to end. I bet this place would be great if you walk in with a Brione suit on and a hot chick on your arm…read more Unfortunately, I only had my adidas black sweat top and tennis shoes one and was not treated well. Other customers that perhaps were perceived as bigger paychecks were consistently served before me. At first I sat at the bar to make it easy for the servers. Unfortunately it was only me and I was abandoned after My drink came and no dinner menus came despite being asked and responding that yes, I need them. So, I took my drink and asked to be seated at a table. the table next to me had about 8 people seated after me, and again they were able to order drinks before my waitress came to me. So, looks matter in this restaurant - a lot! That is never a good sign. My waitress is probably in the wrong career as she was brusque and seemed put off at having to serve 1 person. Maybe she was cursed with being German as I am. The wedge salad I ordered was two small wedge pieces instead of the normal 1 large piece and was ok, but underwhelming in both the size and the amount of blue cheese which was a bit sparse. The 6 oz fillet seemed more like 4 and was ok - the baked potato noticeably smaller than most but loaded at least. The restaurant scene is Helena is pitiful, to be honest. Billings is the place in Montana to be for restaurants. Maybe Bozeman or Missoula but unfortunately, the capital is lacking. The martinis were decent but not as good as the windmill in billings.
