Disgusting costumer service !! I was really disappointed with my experience here. The bartender's attitude was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. My friends and I were just looking to enjoy a fun night of karaoke, but instead, we were met with hostility for no apparent reason other than being young. Came in with 2 of my friends and we were immediately bombarded with the most discriminating, disrespectful, and outlandish service I have ever experienced in my life. First of all, no one was checking ID's at the entrance which is a HUGE red flag. Second of all, every single person in that room was eyeing us up and down. Two people seated looked at us and said to "get the fuck out" and in a room full of white people, when the only brown girl in the room is getting spoken to that way... not the best look. This should go without saying but if you're attempting to drink at a bar without a valid ID then you shouldn't be there in the first place. To then take your time to write a terribly fabricated reviews online afterwards in hopes of turning people away from a great night is embarrassing. The pub is very welcoming to all POC and LGBTQ+ and everyone in between. The Triangle Pub is hands down one of the most beloved spots in White Center, and for good reason. This place has been a neighborhood staple for years, and under the new ownership of Heidi, it's only gotten better. She's done an amazing job keeping the heart of the place alive. Karaoke nights here are some of my favorite nights everyone always gets a chance to sing something. Ray, the karaoke DJ, keeps the vibe fun, making everyone feel like a rockstar whether it's your first time singing or your hundredth. And I have to give a huge shoutout to Cassie, the bartender. She is incredibly kind, professional, always makes sure everyone is taken care of. Whether she's mixing your favorite drink or serving up some cheese sticks. She always makes me feel welcome, and she's a big part of what makes this place so special. Middle of the week lunch, beer and movie or sports game; this is the place to chill out and have a great burger or the reuben sandwich is to die for. The food quality and execution for bar food is exceptional; way better than you would expect. Dropped in for the Friday night steak night and this place was packed and hard to get a place to sit if you come later than 6pm. Sat at the bar, a few drinks and steak was a great deal for $19 with potato, salad and cake. Steak was a bit over seasoned, but hey ended up taking 1/2 home and still finished it up. From my perspective of avoiding crowds a great place for mid-afternoon lunch, but I'd shy away during the evenings unless you're ready to party and socialize with the White Center crowd. read more

One moment someone's nailing Whitney Houston, and the next there's a guy in a cowboy hat butchering Backstreet Boys--and somehow it works. It's the kind of place where literally everyone is welcome, as long as you bring good vibes and your ID. And yes, they will check it. They're not messing around--you need to be 21+ to get in, so leave the fake ID from 2009 at home. Now, let's talk about the staff. This is NOT the same place it used to be. Ownership changed and things have gone downhill fast. Worse food, worse service, and what seems like a disdain for the community it used to support. This used to be my favorite place to hang, but this place is just as bad as the Locker Room now. I was present when the kids that were upset that the id was not accepted. Cassie was very nice the first four times they were told it is not valid and she is not permitted to accept it by the owners. For the record the bathrooms are clean and staff are nice people. It's easy to complain when you're entitled even when totally wrong. As for not accepting people of color or gender that's bull crap we all come here because we are all treated equally. With that said if you act like an ass you will be treated as such, it doesn't change the fact if you are right or wrong rather you accept it or not. This used to be our absolute favorite neighborhood spot but after the recent ownership change we won't be back. We used to love steak night on Friday nights followed by karaoke. The steak night is cheaper but it's not the same quality of steak, the old owner got it at Meat The Live Butcher across the street. The KJ is not the same Christopher Mychael that we know and love. The place doesn't look too different but the service was super rude and it was overall just a bummer as it used to be a ton of locals who all knew each other and was very community oriented and it doesn't feel that way anymore. And the lemon pepper wings surpass my previous favorite at the Roxbury bowling alley, which is saying a lot. My new local bar. It's a cozy place that I've been officially indoctrinated as a regular. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but that's a conversation between me and the drink special of the night. That said. The bartenders work like hell, serve up a good cheap drink, and good greasy bar food (I'm partial to the Cheesesteak, grilled Reuben, and the Bee's special might be the best thing ever. The unami is great, mix of onions, mushrooms, white wine, and Swiss cheese. It's the tits! I once tried to order a salad. It was on their menu. I was laughed at. It's cool, I accept that that must happen sometimes. The menu has an error--that the owner assures me he's working on remedying--i.e. Adding salads. This Pub is my FAVORITE place to karaoke in all of Seattle!!! It's small and intimate, yet kind of a dive-bar all at the same time! They're not fancy, and they make no bones about it. In short, I love, love, love it there. You'll see all kinds at this place. Sometimes there are hipsters, always the regulars, and every once in a while you'll see someone from the VFW. WTH. The best thing at this place is when someone comes in off the street (dressed up on a date) and not really realizing what they're getting in to. The looks on their faces are priceless. The weekend-night bartender, Christine, makes the best drinks, and she even will make you things that stay within your normal price range. Triangle Pub is the bee's knees. By far the best pub in White Center. The food is great and the staff is really nice and chill. They have quality local beers on tap as well as cheap PBR. It's semi hipster but but way less pretentious than Cap Hill. Triangle has jazz some days, trivia on other days, and karaoke on the weekends. Also, you can catch any sports game on the big screen or other TVs. They are open early, serve breakfast on the weekends, and take care of their peoples. Great place. Go check it out. read more

I tried to think of a reason not to give the Triangle five stars but couldn't come up with a damn thing. First of all, Erica the bartender is awesome. Not only does she have a mean pour but she's also personable and pretty funny. My first time in, I felt like a regular. Later, I find out the other bartender that works here is her Mom and her Mom just happens to pop in to say hi. Both of them are cool and super down to Earth. Coming straight here from an Elite event at Big Al's, I was pretty stoked about promoting Yelp to the locals in the WC. Gave away some swag, showed off my acquired t-shirt and voila-we had someone looking us up on line as soon as they got home. Then the owner walks in. Not only was he pretty rad himself, he gave us a little history of the joint and continued to get to know us and ask all about Yelp. It was fun. He took a "you've been Yelped" card. Good times. The drinks here do not mess around. They pour em' strong and they don't lighten up as you continue to order throughout the night so be warned. A fellow Yelper (Gina) came in to try out the Big Al they had on tap. Good stuff! Since people were ordering food left and right and I was hungry (surprise, surprise), my gal Abbey and I decided to go for the bacon cheese burger with a side of fries. OMG! I don't know if we were getting special treatment or what but I will come back just to eat the burger again. Yes, it was that good and I don't mess around about burgers. They've got darts, pool and Karaoke. The space is elongated with ample seating and pleasant regulars. Livin The Dream In White Center Now I have never had the pleasure of trying what is known as "the best food in White Center" (according to the front of the menus in the Triangle Pub, but have heard tale that they have a killer burger that's one to be reckoned with. I can however attest for their generously poured well drinks and sweet bartender that has a fear of tequila. Not to fear we may have brought her back to the light with the suggestion of a pineapple back. Seriously, try it. You can thank me later. Beyond the cast of usual suspects, I also found my karaoke beacon, that's right, our old friend from the Corner Inn, Christopher Mychael. Not having planned on singing we took a seat at a table with, quite possibly the largest binder of songs I have ever seen. Looking through it we quickly realized that not only does he have more songs than any of his competition but he has the new stuff that you probably sang in your car this morning. This was opportunity staring us in the face once again, so we jotted down a few ditties we don't normally get to perform in our local haunts and sang away. I will spare you the review of my "vocally challenged" end of the performance. The nice thing is in a bar that couldn't fit more than 40 people tops chances are your going to get a turn and your good friend Christopher Mychael will make sure you don't cause permanent damage to the rest of the place. The Triangle Pub has been a local fav for years. There menu has more than the average deep fired fare and even a few vegetarian options (if you don't mind dairy) not to mention a full bar and quite possibly the best slogan around... 3.5 stars I went to Triangle Pub on Sunday to support my friend's roommate who was performing an acoustic set. We showed up early and hungry so ordered some grub. I got the BLT with fries and a pint of Elliot's Bay amber ale. The food was really satisfying - simple and delicious! And the though I'm a pale ale fan, I really dug the amber ale. The bartender really knew her beers and took the time to explain the different ones on tap. Since most of the brews were from local breweries, she pointed out where they were located. I got some great ideas, if I ever want to plan a brewery tour :-) The place was small but had the necessities: alcohol, food, pool table, darts, and a stage-like area. It was a chill night and though I hadn't heard the greatest things about White Center, I really enjoyed my time at Triangle Pub and will go back if I'm in the area. read more

One of those bars where you have to get to know the bartender before you feel welcome. If you're in White Center, you have better be ready to do this almost anywhere you go. Grab a cheap beer and stay away from the not so super nachos. They are not super, it must have been a typo. They must have been accidentally placed the "S" in front of super instead of typing "Fucking small as shit not worth your worthless green paper S". Open mic is good though.
