Sometimes I disregard five-star reviews because I think they are not genuine but in this case I can find nothing wrong with this place. If you are ever looking for the last of the really good chicken fried steaks with country gravy and hash browns done right and I mean crispy then Roxy's bar and grill is it. They have a casino and a bowling alley all in the same place and it's very convenient and lots of parking. They have no lottery here but they do have pull tabs if you are a gambler and a casino which I generally avoid because I don't have that kind of money to lose. Lol. Take care and have a nice day and yes it is worth the drive from North Seattle or Tacoma or wherever. $18 gets you the dinner style, breakfast comes with eggs hash browns and toast, and dinner comes with mashed potatoes gravy and a vegetable so you can't go wrong. Dinner is served after 4:00 p.m. and they are open to 2:00 a.m. and on really slow nice they may close early depending on the managers discretion. I've eaten here numerous times. I'm either here with my friends or my cousins. Foods always super solid. You can't go wrong with anything you order honestly. It's convenient too if you're here bowling food comes straight to your lane. If you're gambling at the tables they bring it to you inside the casino area or you can get it to go. Who would of thought a bowling alley grill would get a four star from me! Well I had to try their famous salt and pepper wings from lots of reviews and recommendations from friends. Hands down the best. The wings are the huge size. Twice the size that you'd get at other places. While we there we also ordered Asian fare. I'm not a big Chinese food person but I gotta say it was really good. We got the Roxy chow mein, kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, general Tso, cashew chicken, lemon wings and the famous salt and pepper. The only issue is that they don't take orders on the phone on Fridays and Saturdays so you have to wait there which can be exciting as it's a casino, bar, bowling alley. read more

Roxy's makes THE BEST fried chicken wings! I grew up less than 3 minutes away from Roxy's but always saw it as just a casino/bowling alley. That all changed when I attended a party hosted by my fiancé's cousins there. I took one bite of their fried chicken wings and instantly realized that I had wasted many, many years of my life... The best item on the menu is definitely the garlic chicken wings but their fried rice is super good as well! Their entire Asian kitchen menu is actually quite good. It nice to see that the new owners are remodeling the kitchen and building a large arcade for the kids but they removed the jukebox in the lounge and the staff if only allowed to play classic rock stations. I've talked to many customers and they are not happy and are starting to go other sports bars. I really think there losing touch with the customers!!! As dirty as this bowling alley is, regardless of its recent renovations, the grill serves some pretty tasty bites Their salt and pepper wings are no joke delicious. They crisp up wings, sometimes in corn starch, others not... it truly depends on the day and time. But the flavor, my God it's so good!! They must marinate them overnight in garlic, salt, pepper.. msg maybe, but it's worth it. They finish the wings in a stir fry wok with sliced green onions, garlic and jalapenos. Management does not seem to care, it seems like they're in the last leg of the business anyways. EPIC TROLLING. And the establishment allows it. Roxbury Lanes & Casino serves, hands down, THE BEST Chinese food in all of West Seattle and Burien. You wouldn't expect it from a little hole in the wall bowling alley, but they also have a pretty good website (and mobile site) so you can access their entire menu from home and call for take-out ahead of time. NOW, if you are a little snobby about the surroundings in which you consume your food, you will probably be put off by this place as it is really dingy looking inside and could use a ton of updates, but as for me, if the food is the bomb then I could give a crap less. I usually order it as take-out anyway so that I can enjoy the goodness of the food here in the comfort of my own home. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, but if you come here on a weekend night expect a long wait as the dining areas can get pretty packed, which should serve as a true testament to just how MONEY the food is here. I can't comment on the bowling, drinks, casino, or even the standard American fare (although restaurant patrons seem to pretty happy with their burgers or steaks), but the Chinese menu is where it's at. The salt and pepper shrimp is seriously the best version of this dish I have EVER had in my entire life. The shrimp fried rice has generous helpings of shrimp and is always seasoned perfectly. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. If you happen to go inside to order rather than calling ahead, you'll likely find some specials of the day posted on the whiteboard inside. I have never wrote a negative Yelp but OMG this deserved it. We used to LOVE Roxy's and would work in a family chinese dinner once a week from there. Since reopening after covid shutdown it has been horrible. We just had our third and last dinner since. The Gen Tsaos chicken had obviously been cooked twice, maybe first time a day or two ago it was so thickly breaded and overcooked, Safeways is hands down better. The beef chow fun noodles were left in bulk, the cook was too lazy to break up the noodles. The salt n pepper calimari was also so thickly breaded and overcooked you could play basketball with it. the only thing we ate was the chicken wings and from what used to be the best in seattle is no better than out of a box in the frozen goods section.We threw it away and walked up to the taco truck by endolyne and got our dinner. An expensive night but a lesson well learned, bad once, we try again, Bad twice only because the kids LOVED it before we tried it three times, this last so bad we wont be returning for along time with hopes that they hire a real cook. Why does a bowling alley have what might be the best Chinese food in the city? Don't question it, just eat it!! We had the General Tsao's chicken and beef Yakisoba (Japanese not Chinese, I know) and they were both delicious. Not overly greasy, not overly salty just fresh and flavorful. I'm looking forward to going back for salt and pepper wings and fried rice which looked great too. Service could be more attentive and faster, but it's a bowling alley so what did you expect? Drinks aren't the strongest, but are cheap enough that it doesn't matter. If I remember correctly our well drinks were $3.50 and you can't beat that! At some point during my one and only WC pub crawl, I almost ended here. On word from my gal pal, we ordered the chicken fried steak to share at midnight. Best call I ever made. Very surprised at how good the CFS was. Really! Thick, country gravy with lots of sausage in it. The meat itself was a little crispy around the edges and tender inside. We were starving after a long day of funblogging, so we took a puff and headed over to the Roxbury Lanes and Casino. There's a Chinese food restaurant in there. The old school lunch counter remains, but instead of tuna melts and omelets, they're cooking up General Tso's chicken and unbelievable chicken wings. Let's elaborate on the wings. There aren't Your Mom's wings. These are huge, plump and almost (small) turkey-like severed appendages fried up so perfect you forget you're eating wings because there's so much meat and you don't have to work through all that sinewy stuff you find in those people's chicken wings. We started off with the salt & pepper wings, and by salt think course ground and by pepper we mean diced jalapenos. Incredible. They're like those potato chips where you "can't eat just one" except they're far superior and they come on a large platter nearly overflowing with fried salty wingness. We order "Cheineken" (or, "Tsing Tao") beer. The waitress brings back our beverages then proceeds to assume some kind of predator courtship posture with our friend. Sure made us feel awkward, but we're used to it mostly. She said she was a roller derby girl. On the banked track. "Four foot drop from the rail", she said. While enjoying our wings and other entrees (also delicious, can't remember the names) and beer, the waitress returned assuming an alpha posture. She assumed control of the conversation. "Another beer?" she asks. "Yes. It's like you know us!" we said, in unison. "I knew you would", she confirmed. As we neared the end of the mammoth pile of salt & pepper wings, we were approached by the waitress again who informed us that she "put away two plates of wings [at some point in time]". We sat there in awe of this magnificent woman and thought back to the time of the Vikings when women of her caliber were critical to the survival of the village. Okay let me stretch my fingers out before this review. First off, White center is where I'm from so I might be slightly bias but I love white center for its diversity. This what's so cool about this place it's a chill and local spot where people hang out, eat, go on dates etc etc. places like these there are all types and ages (at night no kids) the food was so good! They are known for their fired chicken but also try their green beans. I've even had their meat loaf which is great with a side of mash and corn. Great place for birthday parties and games are less inexpensive than other places. Good times!! read more

The flooring seemed worn out and the shoes they give for rent are really bad for the money they charge. The place also has a constant odor of something pungent, hard to describe.
