Sometimes I disregard five-star reviews because I think they are not genuine but in this case I can find nothing wrong with this place. If you are ever looking for the last of the really good chicken fried steaks with country gravy and hash browns done right and I mean crispy then Roxy's bar and grill is it. They have a casino and a bowling alley all in the same place and it's very convenient and lots of parking. They have no lottery here but they do have pull tabs if you are a gambler and a casino which I generally avoid because I don't have that kind of money to lose. Lol. Take care and have a nice day and yes it is worth the drive from North Seattle or Tacoma or wherever. $18 gets you the dinner style, breakfast comes with eggs hash browns and toast, and dinner comes with mashed potatoes gravy and a vegetable so you can't go wrong. Dinner is served after 4:00 p.m. and they are open to 2:00 a.m. and on really slow nice they may close early depending on the managers discretion. They do not open until 11:00 a.m. Have a nice day :-) read more

Just amazing service . I had a lot of people come into town at last minute . I love the salt and pepper wings. The kitchen fulfilled my order promptly and more than met my expectations. Thank you so much . Highly recommend the Restuarant read more

I've eaten here numerous times. I'm either here with my friends or my cousins. Foods always super solid. You can't go wrong with anything you order honestly. It's convenient too if you're here bowling food comes straight to your lane. If you're gambling at the tables they bring it to you inside the casino area or you can get it to go. I've always had good service while I'm here and honestly it's always a fun time so I have no complaints. read more

I've lived in Seattle my entire life and have never been here. First time January 2024 and again tonight. Ordered the same things both times. Crunchy beans and not sogged out, crispy chicken wings and pretty damn authentic chow fun - all from a bowling alley restaurant. Post golf I stopped at Young's, but no parking. Off to the bowling alley I go. After getting my bag searched and my ID checked I ordered some food and had a drink. Nice people, quick service and good food! read more

I was playing a new table game and the dealers were helping me navigate the rules. Pay, the pit boss, was extremely rude to the dealers telling them they could not help. I asked Pay to tell his managers that I did not like the new rule and he had me removed by security. Very disappointed in the changes by new management. read more

Typically, easy to order food and short wait for food. Price is average. My go to are the calamari, fried rice and the wings! Wings are a must try. Occasionally, we celebrate birthdays and gatherings by bowling! Parking can be a bit difficult and the ambiance is lively. read more

A great choice for takeout if you live near the white center area. Dinning in is ok but not our first choice, after all, it is a bowling alley and casino. Considering that, the food is a pleasant surprise. We live close and they are open late. It's good food and a very nice staff at the restaurant. We often order Mongolian Beef (it is spicey), House Fried Rice, Walnut Shrimp and one of the Porks or Chickens. Because we always order Chinese food, I can't comment on the rest of the menu but it's worth trying the Chinese Food. read more

Order to go and wings was very soggy after 40 minutes.... It use to be so good but now is bad

Good food. Good service. Recommended getting wings, and house fried rice. Very popular on the weekends

Who would of thought a bowling alley grill would get a four star from me! Well I had to try their famous salt and pepper wings from lots of reviews and recommendations from friends. Hands down the best. The wings are the huge size. Twice the size that you'd get at other places. While we there we also ordered Asian fare. I'm not a big Chinese food person but I gotta say it was really good. We got the Roxy chow mein, kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, general Tso, cashew chicken, lemon wings and the famous salt and pepper. The only issue is that they don't take orders on the phone on Fridays and Saturdays so you have to wait there which can be exciting as it's a casino, bar, bowling alley. read more

Roxbury Lanes is best known for their Award Winning Salt and Pepper Wings and their cheap but strong alcoholic drinks. When we come here we get the wings of course. Sometimes we only come here for the wings! I also love their Loaded Fries which they offer Loaded Tots but I substitute it with fries. Ohh and they have a casino and newly remodeled arcade! It's a fun place to bring your family and friends. Follow my foodie adventures on Instagram: @spoonfulofeva read more

This review is to say that their salt & pepper chicken wings are delicious little things that make your mouth juices flow. So much flavor packed into these little things. Yes, you should eat their wings--enjoy them and eat them in honor of me. I am coming back for their other Chinese food. Ahhhh, Thank you. PS. Their bowling is okay, not the dirtiest but not the most glamorous place. Has casino section, dining section and the bowling sections. Parking lot is kind of small in my opinion. Anyways, it's kind of ghetto, but stop being scared. Buck up and embrace it. read more

Roxy's Bar & Grill - Pretty good salt & pepper chicken 5 star goodness for flavor! - Sports Bars Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Roxy's makes THE BEST fried chicken wings! I grew up less than 3 minutes away from Roxy's but always saw it as just a casino/bowling alley. That all changed when I attended a party hosted by my fiancé's cousins there. I took one bite of their fried chicken wings and instantly realized that I had wasted many, many years of my life... The best item on the menu is definitely the garlic chicken wings but their fried rice is super good as well! Their entire Asian kitchen menu is actually quite good. Food comes out quick, delicious, and has been consistent each time I've gone. I am a huge fan of Roxy's now and I'm willing to be that after your first bite, you will be too! read more

Last night was the first and only time I'll be going there. While eating with friends at the bar, one of the regulars called me and my friend a faggot and made other comments about us being gay. It nice to see that the new owners are remodeling the kitchen and building a large arcade for the kids but they removed the jukebox in the lounge and the staff if only allowed to play classic rock stations. I've talked to many customers and they are not happy and are starting to go other sports bars. I really think there losing touch with the customers!!! Poor decisions are being made because they dont like r&b and rap music let the customers play music they want to hear THEY ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! I will UPDATE my review if there are any changes read more

You're going to see the 5 stars and think I'm crazy but bare with me! As dirty as this bowling alley is, regardless of its recent renovations, the grill serves some pretty tasty bites Their salt and pepper wings are no joke delicious. They crisp up wings, sometimes in corn starch, others not... it truly depends on the day and time. But the flavor, my God it's so good!! They must marinate them overnight in garlic, salt, pepper.. msg maybe, but it's worth it. They finish the wings in a stir fry wok with sliced green onions, garlic and jalapenos. Usually served with ranch, these wings are just the tastiest. I probably come once a week and get these. I truly have an addiction. Great place for bites after a night of drinking down in white center or on California ave. Get the salt and pepper wings. read more

dude this place is a bonafide heater. these were the best cheezy tots i've ever had, i now dub them cheezy thots. and the seemingly simple salt n pepa wings put me on a different planet. i'll probably go again tomorrow. great service great atmosphere and the dopest lanes and arcades. don't tell people about this place read more

I don't know how I stumbled onto Roxy's but so glad I did. Seriously. This place could possibly serve the BEST Chinese food in Seattle. How can a bowling alley in White Center have the best Chinese food in Seattle? (you might ask) One dish. Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings. It's like crack. I love it. I love it so much that I have saved their phone number so that I can order this regularly and can have my fix. I love it so much that this is what I wanted to have for my birthday. I love it so much that by simply smelling these wings, i get the warm fuzzies inside. read more

In fear of blowing up one of my favorite spots, I am a little hesitant to write this review, but for the greater good of Yelp, I guess I will let you in on my little secret. Roxbury Lanes & Casino serves, hands down, THE BEST Chinese food in all of West Seattle and Burien. You wouldn't expect it from a little hole in the wall bowling alley, but they also have a pretty good website (and mobile site) so you can access their entire menu from home and call for take-out ahead of time. NOW, if you are a little snobby about the surroundings in which you consume your food, you will probably be put off by this place as it is really dingy looking inside and could use a ton of updates, but as for me, if the food is the bomb then I could give a crap less. I usually order it as take-out anyway so that I can enjoy the goodness of the food here in the comfort of my own home. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, but if you come here on a weekend night expect a long wait as the dining areas can get pretty packed, which should serve as a true testament to just how MONEY the food is here. I can't comment on the bowling, drinks, casino, or even the standard American fare (although restaurant patrons seem to pretty happy with their burgers or steaks), but the Chinese menu is where it's at. The salt and pepper shrimp is seriously the best version of this dish I have EVER had in my entire life. The shrimp fried rice has generous helpings of shrimp and is always seasoned perfectly. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. If you happen to go inside to order rather than calling ahead, you'll likely find some specials of the day posted on the whiteboard inside. Do yourself a favor and get over whatever apprehensions you might have about this place so that you can try the amazing food - you won't regret it. read more

We have been going here for YEARS! But ever slowly before COVID and now even more after COVID, they have been losing their touch. Were not sure what happened but the food is CRAP now. The infamous salt and pepper chicken wings arent the same anymore, we could probably make better at home now smh. The honey walnut shrimp almost chipped my tooth cause it was breaded with metal or something cause it was hella hard to chew smh. Then the mongolian beef barely had any veggies in it just mostly meat and sauce, not even any onions read more

Learn some Cambodian or Vietnamese before you gamble here. TRUST ME. The dealers here obnoxiously speaks their language to each other about players in front of them. Management does not seem to care, it seems like they're in the last leg of the business anyways. Dealers will tap into their assigned table and then turn their heads when they feel like they're not going to make tips, and when a whale comes in and hooks them up, they're super excited and they code switch instantly. One night I was there, a gentleman had hit a jackpot and the Cambodian dealer was bragging about how much she made and antagonized her other fellow dealers, even though the player had given everyone working $200, the shade she threw was epic... EPIC TROLLING. And the establishment allows it. I facepalm myself every time I come here, I know, I know.. it's a hate/hate, but sometimes I don't want to drive to the other card rooms, they're just as bad, that's what sucks about the industry. But I just want other yelpers to know that that you're SOL if you don't speak another language here. By all means, if you don't care, there's a seat open for you if you can withstand the vitriol. On serving: The casino server will not serve you if you're not tipping. She will go to the same table back and forth and will send the others to line up at the busy bar and risk losing your seat from the gambling table. read more

Don't come here if you're not used to divey spots. If you can get past that, you've found something great. Otherwise you can turn your nose elsewhere. Bowling rates are ok. Come on one of their special nights if you can to make best of the deals they have going on (Sat after 7pm is a flat rate per person per hour for instance, and they turn on the disco lights!). I make this review greatly on the FOOD. If you haven't already heard, the Salt and Pepper Wings here are award-winning and I wouldn't ever question it! It's a hit with both adults and children! I also think the Honey Walnut Prawns are good as well. Wait times I have never experienced to be anything absurd. Drinks are stiff, service is friendly enough. But seriously, I come for those wings. read more

This was the location of FedEx's SEAR/RT location's 2nd annual family bowling event. As a company event, I think the staff did pretty well catering to us. They had plenty of pizza, cake, and soft drinks. The place was alright. It's nothing like ACME, but certain older alleys can be attractive with their older charm (I liked the Lewis & Clark lanes by Seatac). The lanes were nice, as was the oil. I guess the only major gripe I had, as a bowler, was the super-retro (& old/ugly) scoring machines (yikes! -_-). read more

I have never wrote a negative Yelp but OMG this deserved it. We used to LOVE Roxy's and would work in a family chinese dinner once a week from there. Since reopening after covid shutdown it has been horrible. We just had our third and last dinner since. The Gen Tsaos chicken had obviously been cooked twice, maybe first time a day or two ago it was so thickly breaded and overcooked, Safeways is hands down better. The beef chow fun noodles were left in bulk, the cook was too lazy to break up the noodles. The salt n pepper calimari was also so thickly breaded and overcooked you could play basketball with it. the only thing we ate was the chicken wings and from what used to be the best in seattle is no better than out of a box in the frozen goods section. We threw it away and walked up to the taco truck by endolyne and got our dinner. An expensive night but a lesson well learned, bad once, we try again, Bad twice only because the kids LOVED it before we tried it three times, this last so bad we wont be returning for along time with hopes that they hire a real cook. Fairwell to an old family favorite! read more

Why does a bowling alley have what might be the best Chinese food in the city? Don't question it, just eat it!! We had the General Tsao's chicken and beef Yakisoba (Japanese not Chinese, I know) and they were both delicious. Not overly greasy, not overly salty just fresh and flavorful. I'm looking forward to going back for salt and pepper wings and fried rice which looked great too. Service could be more attentive and faster, but it's a bowling alley so what did you expect? Drinks aren't the strongest, but are cheap enough that it doesn't matter. If I remember correctly our well drinks were $3.50 and you can't beat that! Perfect late night or anytime eats and the divey atmosphere only makes it better :) read more

I hear the food is great. To eat it you do need to be at the bowling alley. No to go orders or order ahead.

At some point during my one and only WC pub crawl, I almost ended here. On word from my gal pal, we ordered the chicken fried steak to share at midnight. Best call I ever made. Very surprised at how good the CFS was. Really! Thick, country gravy with lots of sausage in it. The meat itself was a little crispy around the edges and tender inside. The drinks were strongly poured and even though the bartender came off as the type of foe who could srsly bust a cap, he was actually very nice and attentive. Woot woot for good food and friendly service. The place is ghetto though. Things are falling apart, there are some mysterious smells and lots of stains. Yay! read more

I'll be honest this place is totally a dive, though what would you really expect for a restaurant located inside a bowling alley located in West Seattle. That said, the food is pretty cheap and if you're playing in the casino everything is 50% off. Now for the surprises, the asian food is actually surprisingly good. I mean, its not something I'd right home about, but its definitely got a leg up on Panda Express and considering that this is basically in a kind of ghetto area - what were you really expecting. read more

We were starving after a long day of funblogging, so we took a puff and headed over to the Roxbury Lanes and Casino. There's a Chinese food restaurant in there. The old school lunch counter remains, but instead of tuna melts and omelets, they're cooking up General Tso's chicken and unbelievable chicken wings. Let's elaborate on the wings. There aren't Your Mom's wings. These are huge, plump and almost (small) turkey-like severed appendages fried up so perfect you forget you're eating wings because there's so much meat and you don't have to work through all that sinewy stuff you find in those people's chicken wings. We started off with the salt & pepper wings, and by salt think course ground and by pepper we mean diced jalapenos. Incredible. They're like those potato chips where you "can't eat just one" except they're far superior and they come on a large platter nearly overflowing with fried salty wingness. We order "Cheineken" (or, "Tsing Tao") beer. The waitress brings back our beverages then proceeds to assume some kind of predator courtship posture with our friend. Sure made us feel awkward, but we're used to it mostly. She said she was a roller derby girl. On the banked track. "Four foot drop from the rail", she said. While enjoying our wings and other entrees (also delicious, can't remember the names) and beer, the waitress returned assuming an alpha posture. She assumed control of the conversation. "Another beer?" she asks. "Yes. It's like you know us!" we said, in unison. "I knew you would", she confirmed. As we neared the end of the mammoth pile of salt & pepper wings, we were approached by the waitress again who informed us that she "put away two plates of wings [at some point in time]". We sat there in awe of this magnificent woman and thought back to the time of the Vikings when women of her caliber were critical to the survival of the village. Eat like a Viking at Roxbury Lanes and Casino. Uff da! read more

I spent a couple of hours here recently during my visit to Seattle, catching up with a friend who lives close to White Center. This place looks like nobody cares to renovate it. The flooring seemed worn out and the shoes they give for rent are really bad for the money they charge. The place also has a constant odor of something pungent, hard to describe. The food is okay and the staff is mostly friendly, which made me give them 2 stars. It did not seem like a good place for a family evening. read more

Got myself thrown out-on purpose. I went in wearing a hood, seeing no prevalent signs banning such a practice. It was wet outside and I was simply covering my hair. A security guard aggressively approached me and told me that if he saw it again, he would kick me out. There was no manager on site that I could speak to, but I do not spend my money places where they discriminate. I have no criminal record, had no weapons and was simply sitting in the bar watching the game. Oh and did I mention hats are fine? I feel bad, but I have too much respect for myself to let something like that happen. And stick around. Oh well. read more

The salt and pepper chicken wings are legit so this rating is more so for that. The food has good flavor but the beef in their fried rice is super chewy and I've tried to order it multiple times thinking maybe it's just a one off.
