Quite the neighborhood spot! It's our second visit. This time we came specifically because the last visit was so enjoyable. Great selection on tap. Tons of bottles to go. I opted for a Rosé. It was exactly what I wanted. They have eateries next door and small bite items for purchase in the case. Love this spot!

Went here to grab a couples pints and watch a football game. Good beer selections and attached to Zeeks and lil woodies if you want some food. Lots of children at this location maybe I won't be bothered by that when I have my own but booger eaters really kill the vibe.

My friend and I ordered a flight and a sour. Both were delicious, and the price of the flight was fantastic. The interior was spacious inside with a decent amount of seating, and there was also an outdoor patio in the back. The service was attentive and friendly. The protocol here is you clean up after yourself, which seemed to be working as the establishment was pretty clean. You're able to order food from other restaurants (there are 2 others connected) and bring it into here to enjoy with your drinks, which is great since this place doesn't sell any food. p.s. Dogs are allowed in this establishment!

ALL KINDS OF BEER ON DRAFT and also many in cans. You can sit at the bar and order flights or pints from the large selection of local and Oregon beers. Also many many cans in the large cooler to choose from. If you are lucky, you be served by Lisa. The friendly knowledgeable bartender who will steer you towards your favorite type of beer. Find one you like and take home a growler! The place is more store-like than bar-like although there is a bar and it is quite long. The ambiance is pleasing and a refreshing change from an actual bar. This place is bright and airy. There isn't any hot food at Beer Star, but it is next door to a pizza place and burger joint. Order there and they will give you a pager to let you know when your order is ready. So, great beer, great service, Nice atmosphere. 5 stars! Excelsior!

Such a great spot to hang out! We spent the day playing disc golf in what was a much more challenging course than anticipated so we were more than ready for a drink and some food! All 3 of us love trying different beers so when we saw pics online of all the options in the fridge and the long menu we knew this was the place for us. We pulled up and amazingly found parking in their small lot out back and my sister found a spot on the street right by the door, so lucky. It was 4 so still not too busy but we were happy to get to choose the best spot since theres benches outside in the sun, tall tables inside, plenty of bar space at their really cool long bar, and low tables for larger parties. When I came in there was a party of about 10 or more celebrating so definitely a good spot for larger parties. The space is huge! And it's connected to a burger and pizza spot. Yup, it has it all! We ordered some flights, burgers, fries. It was all so good! It was a Saturday when we came in and it did quickly start filling up but that was expected with such good food and drinks, this place was really fun!

We went here all the time pre-COVID but recently made our first post-COVID trip. Loved how organized everything was. Came in and waited to be seated - we got the last table outside. Tables under a permanent roof but still in the open and are nicely spaced apart. The beer and cider menu is full of cool and unique options from some well-loved local breweries and some new-to-me breweries. My most recent visit I actually went for a Sleight of Hand Syrah - a very generous pour for a delicious wine. This place is dog friendly and kid friendly - which you may find desirable or less desirable depending on your leanings. Sometimes there are a LOT of kids - which I bet is great if you are someone with kids. As someone without kids I will say there are places that are adults only seating within the bar too which I appreciate. You can also order from Lil' Woodys or Southside Pizza. Lil' Woodys is consistently delicious. Southside had some great selection pre-COVID but had a limited selection post-COVID - but hey, we all do what we can. Anyway, go! You will have fun.

He pointed to a water dispenser with lukewarm water and plastic cups. He gave us a few minutes then returned to take our order. The menu was small but it did have some healthy options. Not just typical bar food. It seemed like the perfect happy hour place! I had some questions about spiciness of one of the entrees. But he didn't seem to know much about feedback about it. I ordered it anyway. It was a little more spicy than I'm used to but it was delicious. He stopped by to check on us more than halfway through the meal. I asked him for some ice and he promptly brought two cups. The patio was lovely! Not much of a view as they had a big fence blocking it, but it still felt very open and breezy. Very intimate and nicely decorated. I would have given five stars had the waiter been a little more welcoming and there were a few more dishes offered. The menu was paper and a bit worn. It made me wonder how many had touched it. Perhaps a QR code would work for them if they don't wish to laminate their menu. Or just put specials on a blackboard. Not just drinks.

These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. Parking was free and plenty of it on the streets. I visited on Super Bowl Sunday, about 2-3hrs before the game to get seats. This was a good idea because there was only a handful of seats available. We were lucky enough to get a table for 4 of us. The hosts were very welcoming and go us seated at the bar when it was only two of us. When we informed them about an hour prior to kick off that we needed two more seats, they did their best to get us seated. It was very kind of them to even look around, let alone actually find us space. This was very much appreciated. The first hour or so, when there was only two of us, we had a few beers, the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak with potatoes. The beers were exactly what you think they would taste like and they weren't terribly expensive which was nice. The cheese curds were a great shareable item, good flavor and a fair amount of them. The chicken fried steak was good, nothing crazy, but not below average. Portion was good sand it was cooked right to have that nice crips on the outside with the gravy poured over top. I think the only thing I wasn't that big of a fan of was the potatoes, I should've opted for the tots or hash potatoes instead, but I'll have to try it again. Yes, I would recommend this place. Seems like a good place to meet with friends for a game and meet friends. I almost forgot to mention they have an outside area in the back was is covered so there's more than enough space to maneuver and enjoy your time.
