I got an oil change, a tire plugged, and a thorough evaluation at Mavis today, and the service was precise, honest, and quick. The staff was professional and transparent about everything. They even gave me a quote for new tires and rear brakes that was substantially better than what my dealership offered. I really appreciated their honesty and efficiency. I'll definitely be returning for future services! read more

Jadan and Kelly are so professional and knowledgeable. I got 4 new tires and done in no time. Highly recommend. read more

I have been coming to this Mavis Discount Tires for years. They have helpful and friendly staff that will pointed out things that need to be done, but without the pressure to do them if that wasn't the original reason for the visit. Waiting room is clean and fairly quiet. Work was finished quickly and for a reasonable price. read more

Our car needed a freon charge. Called and was told to come in today a Sunday. Very professional and courteous. Also provided us with the part that is needed. Would definitely recommend this business read more

I simply went in to have a patch on a screw in my tire-the staff in charge that day made me feel like I was putting on a whole new set of brakes and tires and went above and beyond and took me in right away so I can be on the road as quick as possible. I highly recommend using them and will be doing so for any of my future tire, brake, etc. needs read more

I've been here twice in two weeks and both times they fit me right in. They even hooked me up with a very specific tradesperson to fix a damaged wheel. They went above and beyond. Much appreciated! read more

Horrible service two hours to fix a tire valve sensor that they broke when replacing tires two weeks prior. Asked the service manager Bob if they where going to balance tire since they took the tire of the rim he said it doesn't need rebalanced. Your are better off going to a real mechanic cause theses guys haven't the foggiest idea on how to work on a car. read more

Kelly is so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She really worked with me.to meet my scheduling needs. My car was taken in immediately. The service area where I waited was clean and comfortable. read more

Very honest . They put my car on the lift and removed an object from my tire and said it didn't require a plug . No charge for the time spent on my car which is unheard of these days . Highly recommend ! read more

Truly appricate everyone that works at this location. I have visited Mavis in Keyport a couple time through the year of 2024 and they have been more then helpful. I'm a busy guy and one thing I Value the most is my time. I always call ahead and ask if there available to get me in and out and they do just that. Staff is very nice and the most important very honest. The level of service you will receive at this location is impeccable. read more

Thank you so much Jason, my husband Norman came in with a noise under our car today and you fixed immediately. I give 6 stars to Mavis & Jason in Keyport, Thank you read more

I've had only excellent experiences at Keyport Mavis, namely working with Mike. He's knowledgeable and puts the time and effort in to make sure the work is done right. I had a light that kept coming on after I had work done at a different Mavis location that they were unable to correct after many trips back. I ended up bringing my car back to Keyport and Mike was able to figure out and fix the issue and do my oil change in under an hour. I'm incredibly grateful to have found someone to care for my car that is trustworthy and just excellent at his job. read more

Highly recommend this Mavis location in Keyport ! Very helpful , answered all my questions patiently and gave helpful future advice for the health of my car . I'll definitely be back for future services & new tires . read more

I had scheduled for two replacement tires since the rotation of my last tires they put on were rotating the wrong way. After the guy on the phone ordered me tires I showed up the next day to get them out on and it turns out he ordered me trailer tires for my 6500lb van. Thanks to Kelly for being honest she told me these were the wrong tires and that she could order new ones for later in the afternoon. I had work at 1 o'clock and I could not wait until 3 for the tires to get there. KELLY GOT IN HER CAR AND DROVE TO THE WAREHOUSE IN BRIDGEWATER to get me the right tires and get me to work on time. There's not many people in this world that would do something like that. I hope Kelly gets recognized for going over the top and fixing the problem herself. Thank you Kelly and Gail. I hope that somebody higher up in the "mavis world" reads this and gives them a promotion while the guy who ordered me trailer tires sits behind his screen all day and could probably careless about how this situation turned out. read more

@mavis you told me to call you and I have been waiting for 3 months, I was told to wait for a call bad which was on "urgent urgency". I just wonder what kind of damage has been done by the negligence. read more

Never have I ever been in a position where I had a flat tire and the staff refused to help due to a technicality. We had a line-runner, not a truck, and were told we were too heavy to be lifted and they couldn't use their equipment outside their premises (3ft) to assist. Didn't get the manger's name, but #%^* that guy. I hope you fail in all you endeavor. I would never recommend this business and I hope to never darken their doorstep again. read more

Mavis Discount Tire in Keyport NJ has the most honest, helpful and friendly staff anywhere! I had a tire issue and they fixed it without any hassle, and without trying to sell me anything. This location has the best staff that I have ever encountered anywhere. If I could give them more than five stars, I would! I highly recommend them! read more

Very fast, very informative and very professional, had my car done and out in under a hour no waste of time good quality service, couldn't get a better price anywhere else, Mike the Manager was Great give this guy a raise. Thank you Mavis read more

I found out the hard way that my front left tire had a bubble formed on its side. The dealership didn't have an appointment for a few days, but I was able to call into Mavis and they said they could get my tire by the next Morning (which was a SUNDAY!!) Sure enough, I was able to come by AND got a better price then at my dealership. Nitin, Ed, and Pete were all friendly and accommodating and I was able to drive off shortly after worry-free. Great service by a friendly crew. read more

Very friendly and helpful service. Went in with a bad tire on my car I just bought from a dealership. They sold me a car with a messed up tire and lied about fixing it! Mavis helped me out and gave me a great price to fix the tire and even the lug nuts that were stripped from poor repairs at the dealership. They even documented everything for me so I can show the dealership. Went above and beyond. I'll go there for all my tire needs from now on. read more

Great service and price, Dave is the best. Will absolutely be coming back here next time I need something. read more

Customer service in this place is what keeps this business going. I see that now. Cause it's not their "bargain" pricing. TRUST ME! 2 Tires that cost over $200 bucks?!? Dude! I would rather go to a used tire place and get all my tires changes for half that. However, the guys behind the counter and the guys in the shop, they got that million dollar smile that keeps you coming back. How do I resist, lord?!? read more

I go here for all my truck's needs. Oil changes, new tires, etc. The staff are friendly. Mike usually answers the phone and he's always very helpful. They have great communication. The appointments run on time so you're not sitting around waiting, or wondering what's going on with your vehicle. Highly recommend. read more

I've been here twice in the past month or so (two different cars), and I felt like I had to write a great review after my last visit. I needed windshield wipers, new brake pads and a wheel alignment. The service was very quick and professional. I left my last place because I felt like they were always trying to squeeze extra money out of me, but Suburban is different. The manager at this location (I think his name is Mike) was very honest with me both times I went in. He explained to me exactly what the issues were, why they occurred, and what he needed to do to fix them. And the prices were GREAT - no added-on nonsense charges, which has become common in this industry. I will definitely be coming back for all of my auto needs! read more

Purchased four tires that were supposed to last 75k. The tires were recommended by sales rep and he said they were good tires, which he has on his car. Less than two years 25k later, got a flat so went to get it repaired there. Asked Mike to repair my flat and he insisted on looking at all four tires. He did a visual inspection in the parking lot and told me "You have major strut damage and severe alignment issues". He insisted I needed 4 new tires and strut replacements before even putting the car on the lift. I asked him again to repair the flat (covered on the additional warranty I paid for) and he refused, simply saying it was unsafe...refusing to explain further. I told him I wanted him to explain and he just repeated UNSAFE. I told him I was going to call corporate and he said "yeah okay go right ahead". After leaving, went to my local mechanic and he said nothing is wrong with struts, tires were garbage tires and the flat could be plugged for $15. Do not trust this location or company. Mike was absolutely trying to sell/scare me into buying 4 new tires and making unnecessary repairs. Additionally, he was extremely arrogant and rude. read more

Went to get my tire fixed... before I walked in the building the attendant came right out to me in the parking lot, very courteous/ professional. I let him know what was wrong he had it fixed and gave me a phenomenal price and I was gone in no time. read more

This place was great. The manager is knowledgeable and informs you step by step of what's going on with your vehicle. I had new brakes installed that I bought in myself. They did not fit 100% and they had to do some extra work to get the job done right and did not stop until it was done the right way. My o2 sensors were loose and making a rattling on my exhaust and they even went out of their way to fix that free of charge. I would definitely take my car here for any future service. read more

The car dealership told me I needed $170 worth of alignment and balance. I brought the car into Suburban and they drove the car, tested alignment and said all I needed was a balance. They were fantastic about talking through what I really needed and saving me a TON of money. read more

If you are looking for a straight forward and honest assessment with car needs, Mike and the guys at Mavis are a great spot to go. I have always used this place for years and was very pleased until 2016/2017. I have taken my car in for issues with my breaks. I had to return my car two times in October 2016. I was having issues again. This second time July 2017, I was told my break issues had been a light switch. The issue with my breaks was not fixed. The light never came on to indicate that I needed a light switch to begin with. I am not a mechanic so I took their word that the issue was a light switch. $200 + my car is back at Midas. ........ I will update when I get my car back. read more

Went there with a flat tire i was pretty positive it was because their was a nail or something in it because it had a slow leak guy wouldn't even take a look at it. Went somewhere else. Turns out there was a piece of metal in the tire and it was an easy fix. Will never go there again. read more

I walked in and was immediately disgusted, how rude we were treated. The manager, or guy behind the counter even allowed a customer that he clearly knew talk to me rude. Involving himself in our conversation, before walking out the door he made a racist comment. I will never try them again! Walked out!!! read more

Keyport NJ location- Quick service, awesome customer service & made my car a priority. They took us immediately, almost 6pm right before closing, made everything stress and worry free. I stopped in to get a price and a recommendation on tires and the manager's recommendation happened to be on sale! While changing the tires over, a brake pad issue was discovered. The manager gave me a coupon which made the pad replacement extremely affordable. The service was quick, the prices were great and the manager was well informed and friendly. Who knew that buying tires could be a nice experience! read more
