I do not recommend companies easily, but this company goes above and beyond. I just moved from MN to MA, and called Brent. He responded with a quick - "we can do it - let me find a driver" Jim, the Director of Ops did the drive. He is where I say they go above and beyond... On Monday, Jim and the crew had the house emptied in no time and loaded. We did a walk through, and coordinated our schedules. He then told me his itinerary and that he would text me each night. I was leaving Tuesday Morning and we both planned on being in MA on Wednesday evening. It went seamless. I heard from Jim each night, and again Thursday morning as he was headed to the new home with my furniture and goods. Like the loading of the truck, the unloading went just as smooth. In the end, not even a glass was cracked, everything was put where I wanted it, Jim was communicating the whole time, and the final price was within the quote. The company is great to work with, the employees are even better. Thanks for your service over the years GSM.

When the movers arrived there were three, really? They handled the move well however at the conclusion my electric fireplace doesn't work anymore AND the bill I was given was for $784 and change. I said I'm not paying that because that isn't the amount I was quoted and there were supposed to be two men not three. The gentleman insisted that was the quote he was given by his boss. We went back and forth and then I said I was going to call his boss and ask if they had made a mistake. When I said that he said fine you can have the move for $500 plus tax!! I haven't put a claim in for the fireplace yet so we'll see what happens when I do. Will I use Good Stuff Moving again? Probably not. Would I recommend them? Not sure.

The quote was wrong, the movers were slow and one was exceptionally unprofessional (by any standard) cost me over 3x my estimate and there was damaged property involved and issues with fixing the problems. Don't use them. A pick up truck and 2 guys from the nursing home could be faster. I was so disappointed. 11.5 hrs instead of 3 and a half. I extensively itemized all my property as instructed as well. Should have been no issues. I wont post pictures of the day because I dont think it's fair to show them not being efficient.

Wow!!! I can't say enough GOOD things about this service!!…read more I had a really bad situation where other movers I had hired got into a fistfight inside my moving trailer and had to be removed from my property! I was left with a job that was only a quarter done and I had to be out of my house that day for a closing! I was desperate! I called around and, as expected, no moving company could help me out and such short notice! I finally called Daymakers and Lisa, who answered the phone, was so sympathetic to my situation; she said she would try to figure it out for me. After about 20 minutes, Lisa called me back and said that 2 of her movers were finishing another job and were supposed to be done for the day but they agreed to come out and help me out of my situation! Unbelieveable! I was so elated and relieved! Two super nice young guys, named Jacob & Shane, showed up in a beautiful, very professional Daymakers moving truck. They were so helpful and courteous! They did everything I needed done so quickly and efficiently! They took the time to wrap all my furniture and were so careful. They could move and do anything...like superheroes!! And they were...They made my day. I guess that's why the call themselves "Daymakers." Lisa called me back the next day to make certain all went well and that I was happy. They really care. My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!

That's how I discovered True Care, and I am happy to say that I have had two extremely pleasant moves with them! The owner, Tyrell, contacts customers directly and is extremely thorough when booking and requesting information, while being flexible and accommodating of last minute changes. For my recent move I wanted to purchase a couch off facebook marketplace and asked TrueCare if it would be possible for them to pick it up on the way to my home, they were extremely accommodating and got it sorted! The movers themselves are extremely nice, friendly, courteous and thorough, and they were real troopers hauling heavy furniture up my second story walk-up. This is without a doubt the company you want to book for your twin cities moves.

Update, 11/21/24: Lawyer has been retained, claim has been filed. Be extremely careful with this…read morecompany, any decent company would have jumped at an opportunity to make things right - this one passes the buck. Unfortunately, during the move a leak occurred on a fridge that was moved - the company reconnected the power and the water line, returned the fridge against the wall, collected payment and left. Fortunately, I came back the next day to a vacant house to gather anything left behind, and found a wet carpet, a wet bathroom, wet hardwoods, flood ceilings, damaged HVAC, etc. The carpet is ruined, the hardwoods are ruined in numerous areas. I brought this to Tyrell's attention, and it has been brushed off by him numerous times. The company claims that the water line was "done as a courtesy", which I contest - the service was offered, and was paid for. It is estimated that I have $35,000-$40,000 in damages throughout the house. With that said, I'm not mad that it occurred, I understand these things can happen. What frustrates me is that after repeated attempts to gather the companies insurance information, they have refused to provide it. The companies website clearly notates that "We are a professional moving company in Minneapolis with the required licenses and insurance." It is a requirement that moving companies maintain insurance. It is my right to file a claim. The fact that they have been unwilling after numerous attempts to provide an insurance carriers name, let alone a point of contact or policy number, is highly concerning. I have contacted the Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau, Department of Labor, and will continue looking for resources to ensure that this is dealt with adequately. The main job of someone that runs a moving company is to deal with customer issues swiftly, and that has not been the case here at all. I would highly recommend doing due dilligence before hiring Tyrell's crew, they are quick to collect payment, but awfully slow to remediate any customer concerns.
