We were in a hurry to find a full size mattress for our toddler that had good quality and did not coast thousands of dollars. Well, we came to the right place. The store was empty and there was just one sales person. He was very nice and super helpful finding the right mattress for us. After trying kind a few options we found a perfect one. Remembering that before coming to this store, we stopped by a couple more and definitely this was so far the best and cheaper store you can find around. The best part of our experience was that they have lots of mattresses available at the store. All other stores we visited we had to wait at least a few days to have it delivered to our home. Since we need it for today, we got the best of both worlds. Definitely recommend this store to everyone that wants to buy a good quality mattress for the best price. Last week my husband and I started out on our new mattress journey. We shopped at a couple of different mattress stores but still not sure what we really wanted or needed. My husband has a lot of health issues and I didn't want to make any costly mistakes leading to regrets. On Mother's Day we stopped into Mattress Depot in Bellevue for a second visit with Vernon. I was so impressed on how informative and knowledgeable he was on all brands and types of mattresses at Mattress Depot and knowledgeable about other types of mattresses carried at other stores. He answered all of our questions on the spot. We learned so much about mattresses and bases. I was also impressed on how he multitasked taking care of other customers and us at the same time, it was busy. We went with the Aireloom Starlight split king mattresses with the BedTech BT6500 adjustable bases. We left the store feeling positive an satisfied with our purchases. I had planned to buy a mattress at a different place, but just stopped in because we were driving by and saw the moving sale. The salesman, Vernon, was incredibly helpful, patient and knows his stuff! He must be a good salesperson too because he was able to de-escalate my anti-salesperson attitude and actually made mattresses shopping somewhat fun! He answered all our questions, gave us the space and time to try everything out and didn't pressure us at all. We ended up buying a Tempur-Pedic with adjustable base... all cheaper than what I was going to get at the other place. My only complaint is that there is no refund if you don't like the mattress, but they do allow one exchange. Overall, Vernon made this as painless as possible and after 2 weeks of assuring me that my body was just trying to adjust to my new mattress, I'm finally sleeping through the night without pain! Would give this place 0 stars if possible. First the manager Will is the reason my experience was bad. I called ahead was just curious as to box springs. Wanted to surprise my wife with setting up our room while she was traveling. Go there and Will is your typical sleazy salesman. Rude. And condescending. Then proceeds to talk bad about me to his coworker whom was actually wanting to help me. Will has zero interest in helping me and just wanted to sell. Don't go to this place. There is other mattress stores around that have better product and WAY better service. No need to settle with some basic salesman's who thinks this is still 1990s used car lot. read more

DO NOT BUY HERE! they care way more about their commission in tiny spiffs then getting you the right product and taking care of you. I will go as far as to say, These individuals are more sleazy than a used car salesman. I'm in the market for a Tempur-pedic queen size bed. But I temporarily needed a twin mattress and simple fold out stand for it. I've used fold out stands before that work well and have a good strength to them but, this one had huge gaps and was made of week support. A torture device is as close as I can come to describing it. I kept the mattress and brought this back in inside the box asking for a refund which was just $119. They refused to do a refund and would only exchange it. And sure enough it does say on the papers they have you sign that all sales are final.So I will never shop here again because, there are other mattress stores, several of them, that do returns. Especially for an item did in my opinion is actually just defective. I let the manager know that I was in the market for a queen size Tempur-pedic mattress. I've actually already bought the adjustable platform for it. At first he told me that he couldn't do anything about the refund policy. I knew that was a lie but, he proved it by saying, OK well I'll refund you the $119 if you buy a Tempur-pedic right now. So, you can do something about the refund policy!? He's just a greedy commission based manager with greedy commission based employees and that greed has cost them the sale of a $3500 Tempur-pedic mattress. I will buy it someplace else. read more

I had a terrible experience with Vernon Higginbotham and his boss David Taylor. I purchased a mattress through Vernon on 08/13. The mattress started sagging badly within 15 days of purchase (almost 2 inches of sag in multiple places). I found out that I had been given the last piece in their inventory for that manufacturer and they are not even selling mattresses from the manufacturer any more. Vernon had pushed out the last defective piece to me. I filed the warranty claim, and it was approved by the manufacturer. But they had me against the wall now, and started adding conditions on how I can use the warranty credit. Vernon and his boss David said that (a) I have to buy another mattress from the same store to take benefit of the warranty claim credit. (b) I cannot get the credit back in cash. (c) They tried to rush me into selecting a replacement by saying that I will lose my warranty claim credit unless I do so within 3 days. I pushed back and managed to get slightly longer to make my choice. (d) If I avail the warranty claim, I will still need to pay $140 for the disposal of the old defective mattress and delivery of a new one If the mattress sagging issue is not my fault, but a manufacturing defect acknowledged by the manufacturer, why should I pay for the disposal and delivery charges? When I asked them these questions (politely), they pretty much took a "we don't care, we cannot help you", "now that you have bought from us, you don't have a choice but to do as we say or lose your money" tone. David very rudely hung up on me twice, once with the F* word at the end of the conversation. I would strongly recommend not buying with Vernon and David. They appear very polished and helpful before the sale, and provide zero customer experience and are very rude after you have completed the purchase. A complete trap. read more

I just moved here from San Diego earlier in the week and have been mattress shopping daily! These guys clearly know their products and deliver stratightforward and helpful information with no high pressure sales at all. My son picked the one he wanted after thoroughly bounce testing each mattress and the transaction was fast and simple! I guess this store used to be King's Mattress.. then Bed Crazy.. and is now a Savvy Mattress Outlet Store (as of 3 weeks ago) - it was a GREAT experience and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I was looking to replace my 10 year old matress and my good friend took me to the Mattress Depot Outlet. I was amaze at the superior service I received. Josh (l believe that was his name) was the only one in the store and as we walked in a couple was walking out. He greeted us warmly and began to show me some of the mattresses. As long as shoppers realize that a lot of these mattresses are USED and have no problem with that, they may be happy buying there. Anytime there are deep discounts applied, there is usually a reason. Big difference between a "second" and a USED mattress. We shied away for that reason and decided we would rather pay a bit more for a mattress that others haven't slept on for who knows how long. Our salesperson was friendly and helpful but a little coy about the orgin of some of these mattresses. You might want to ASK where they came from. They say to buy a new mattress every couple of years but who does that?? No one, because no one can afford it. Well, if you purchase your mattresses from Savvy mattress, I believe you can! We purchased our Airlander or Airloom? (I can't remember the name but it is AHH-mazing!) bed here at Savvy Mattress and I do not think I could purchase our next mattress anywhere else. Our Salesman Kraig was absolutely wonderful; extremely knowledgeable and very funny. And after doing much research, there is no cheaper place to buy mattresses with the quality that you get from the mattresses here. Savvy Mattress had the same exact beds that Mattress Outlet, Sleep Country and Macy's had but at almost half the price! We decided to get the california king, it was a very good decision because I need my space when I sleep and this bed makes me feel like I am sleeping in the clouds. (alone!) :) I will not buy another mattress anywhere else. Savvy mattress has won me over and I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family. read more

A friend of mine works at the Macey's store in bellingham and called me to tell me they had a floor model at a big discount. I jumped online and started doing my research. It turns out Savvy had a similar bed even cheeper so I put it on my todo list to stop by after doing some research on them- so far they look pretty solid with an A+ from BBB and a good review here but John C.'s review had me nervous as its their only review and sounds a little "self reviewed." Keep in mind this is the 3rd review and they've only been in business for a couple months. I Spent a few hours yesterday trying out beds. They had two sales men and they had two or three sales while I was there and several customers stopped in. The salesmen I worked with, Kraig I think, was super respectful and patient and let me try out the beds for 10-15 minutes each. he helped a few customers and then checked in every 20 or 30 minutes. I was a bit torn between at least 3 mattresses.To help me make a decision, we chatted for 10-15 minutes and talked about some of the differences. I ended up getting the floor model Cal-King Simmons Nxg 575 which is an "as-is" mattress due to a shipping stain but was $5500 off retail and about half off the best online price shipped. To sweeten the deal, Kriag threw in free delivery, their "1200" thread count sheets, and comped the box springs which later he rolled to a $200 credit towards a bed frame. I sat for about 45 minutes thumbing threw the furniture catalogs trying to find a frame with their wholesale discount. Both salesmen were wrapping their day up at the desk. Both very open and casual which I felt made them more down to earth and honest. I'm still a little nervous about spending $1400 on a mattress that doesn't have a warranty but from what I've heard and read, mattress replacements are nearly impossible anyway and unless the bed literally falls apart or sags 3-4" in the middle, one wont get a replacement without litigating. So... looking forward to the new bed. I slept with the memory foam & cotton pillow ($50) Kriag recommended and slept better in my old bed then i have in years. We needed to buy 3 mattresses after a flood in the house. We had visited Tempurpedic and fell in love with their mattresses and almost bought them but decided to visit Mattress Depot Outlet because our friend referred us and we are very glad we did. Lee was very knowledgeable after hearing what we liked and what we were looking for. We ended up buying from Lee. It's been over a week since we've been sleeping in the new beds and we love them. I wish I remembered the two delivery mens' names because they were fantastic too. We ended up with mattresses just as comfortable as the Tempurpedic with a much better price. read more

The store manager Cody was really nice and helpful, but my order for a mattress and two mattress protectors wasn't even placed after I paid for it! I called up on the day of delivery a week later after paying and I was told that they had forgotten to place the order. Finally, my mattress comes two weeks later, but only one mattress protector. I call up the store again to see what's up with it, and guess what? The order for the second mattress protector hasn't even been placed! And they aren't even sure if it will be placed anytime in the near future! To add to that, once they place the order it will come only a week later. I would only recommend coming here if you can wait for weeks on end to get your stuff, and if you don't mind being disappointed again and again. read more

This is the worst shopping experience I ever had. This company doesn't have a customer service. You can't communicate with them after they sell the mattress to you. It's all about getting your money for a junk product. I bought a mattress from redmond Mattress Depot Outlet about two months ago. I called them about the mattress which is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever had. I told them I need some help for an exchange and the guy on the phone said they only do exchanges for 30 days now there is nothing to do unless there is a hole on the mattress from the manufacturer. He said there is nothing to do with my company. I said that sucks and he said you can't use that kind of language about our company and we won't help you, good luck with that!!!! And hung up the phone. He didn't even listen why is the mattress is uncomfortable, what's wrong with it or when exactly I bought it. He even didn't check my account information or anything. He just said that Mattress Depot can't help you, and hung up the phone because I said that sucks. I'm a mom with 3 kids, never used any bad words in my life seriously, just because I said that sucks he treated me as if I said something very wrong. He didn't help me and also treated me so rude. We saved over $8000 off the top-of-the-line Macy's mattress and hate travelling because we always miss our mattress so very much! Savvy mattress was just what I needed from a mattress store. We just purchased a new home and needed a full mattress for a guest room (so not everyday use, so I didn't need anything too expensive). They had three options at the outlet, which was really all I needed. I was in and out in less than half an hour and the staff was super friendly and loaded up my purchase in the van no problem. My grandmother loved the mattress so much when she spent a few nights on a visit that we actually went and bought the same mattress for her in a queen (they were out of the model in Redmond so they sent it from Tukwila the next day)-- she's sleeping much better than on her $1000+ former model. I was actually on my way to get bubble tea from jazen tea, but ended up buying a king sized mattress. It was nice to try everything without being followed or hounded by the sales people. It was so pressure-free, and cody answered all of our questions even though we didn't look like we were going to buy anything! They delivered the mattress the next day. They called a few hours ahead, and then 15 min before they arrived. I bought a Groupon and spent two months including six visits and numerous phone calls to the Northgate outlet. I was told by Jeff that I was second on the list for a twin and would be called, but that never happened. On one visit, he tried to up sell me. I was also told that the Groupon was only for "as is" items. I was in Bellevue and decided to see what would happen there, and met Vernon. He called the warehouse while I was there, and took my information. Within two days I had a Sealy Perfect Sleeper per the Groupon deal upon the next delivery. Vernon is an honest and highly capable young veteran with a warm personality. He turned a 0 star rating into a 4 which given Northgate's b.s. is a miracle.
