I came in for a full body skin cancer check. He took about 2 minutes to check and did not even do a thorough check. It takes much longer to do a full body skin cancer check. I even had to point to a mole on my arm that he didn't even notice and he did a biopsy on it. He was probably late for his next appointment because he seemed like he was in a hurry. He suggested I get some type of laser surgery for my face to make it look better which is not the reason why I came in. He is basically a botox doc and his focus is on cosmetic dermatology. You will notice when you walk into his office that he only has cosmetic procedures on the wall and on the tv and nothing about skin cancer or skin diseases. I will not be back.

But Doc McDonald was recommended by a friend and she was close so what the heck. I was truly impressed from the first call, to the staff preparedness, their promptness, their professionalism and her bedside manner was very comforting. Turns out to be poison ivy and I am sure I was small potatoes to her for that day, but Doc McDonald made me feel valued and like I was her top priority and only patient that day. I thought that he would minimally look at my post-op face, he never did. I initiated conversation him. I'm very outgoing and speak to everyone. I approached him, spoke to him, he reciprocated. Second he was paid $27,000. Cherry has been on me to pay their $17,000 they paid Dr. SP. I already paid $10,000. This price was "professional courtesy" which is misnomer. My results which lasted only two month. My face is sagging more than pre-surgery. I'd like to ask him " why did you completely ignore me" I've never had wrinkles small or large. I only wanted skin tightening. I will have to seek professional medical advice for the lumps and awareness behind my left ear.

I went in to talk about a big growth on the side of my head (hidden under my hair) that I wanted removed, as well as a general preventative skin check. Dr. Ted Lain was my doctor. He was friendly and had a very contagious positive personality about him. His nurse helper was very friendly as well. Everything happened so fast when they shaved off the growth, as well as a mole on my back they wanted to biopsy. Usually getting these procedures done freak me out but I didn't even have the time to freak out bc of how fast and efficiently it was done, lol. I also even briefly inquired about filler injection estimates and he was able to give me an estimate window right on the spot. They called me the following week with the results, and also sent me the results for my records when I asked. I liked this practice and my doc and I would go again :)

Amanda was super helpful! Really good because scheduling or rescheduling an appointment with my then provider, a large hospital clinic network, was a months long wait. My check-in at the North Austin location off of Mo-Pac near Parmer was effortless and very pleasant and my clinical visit with Lorin the Medical Assistant and Stephanie PA-C for the skin check was through and very informative. I was beyond pleased that PA Stephanie was able to examine and treat a spot on my ear that she had concerns with and also perform a procedure on a couple more that required them to be excised off. The visit was really positive and I accomplished so much in 90 minutes from the time I walked in along with directions on using appropriate sunscreen! Sanova Dermatology offers lots of services , so I expect that I'll be back more often than annually for routine maintenance and care at a really reasonable and fair cost.

That understanding is so rare these days that Dr. Dozier and her staff are unicorns. I lack the words to express how marvelous it is as a patient, customer or client, to come across an enterprise that understands what it does and how to deliver on its mission with kindness, respect and a smile. It would seem simple, but, sadly, it is not.

I had a Moh surgery to remove a basal cell in my cheek, which was less than 1mm but after removing…read moreit, it became about 3mm to make sure no cancer still existed, to which I was grateful. However, to close it by stitching, Dr. Dozier decided to slice my cheek (where the cancer was removed) down, about 2 inches vertically. She explained to me that she followed how I smile and she marked where the slice was made. When it's healed, it'd look like a wrinkle when I smile. Stitching it up took a long time to the point when I realized it was not what I wanted. I was visibly upset. It won't look like a wrinkle. Literally it looks like a knife cut. She is a Moh surgeon, not a plastic surgeon. Now, it looks like a cut of 2 inches long, compared to a 3mm hole. Besides, I have an acne scar. I am applying scar treatment gel for 6 months and hoping the scar will go away. I wish she closed the hole instead is making the scar look bigger.

Only after they receive the doctor referral will you be able to schedule an appt. I went to see him for a second opinion for a rash under both my armpits. His assistant evaluated the rash and answered my questions. He determined it was an allergic reaction and prescribed some steroidal cream. He did explain the steps he would take, which I greatly appreciated. $60 later, I find that the rash was ringworm and simple anti-fungal cream worked as suggested by a 4th doctor I went to see. The doctor is nice, attentive, and listened to my concerns. I guess he just misdiagnosed. Overall: 3 out of 5 as the scheduling is the biggest hassle overall (minus the misdiagnosis).

I arrived on time, had my paperwork done is less than ten minutes and then sat and waited. At least two patients arrived after me but were called in before. The front desk was neither nice nor rude, but seemed unconcerned when I said I couldn't wait any longer and left 45 minutes after my appointment time was supposed to start. In the dark ages people were forced to wait an eternity to see the local medicine man; in 2011 we have options and our time is just as valuable as the healthcare provider. I refuse to wait for services when I showed up at the right time - shame on your scheduling and/or timing Dr Reichenberg.
