I'm so glad we went with Matterhorn for our kitchen and floor remodel. My wife and I purchased our first house in March and decided to update the kitchen and replace all the old tile floors in the house before moving in. Matterhorn came recommended from my wife's boss, and that put them over the edge as far as hiring them. They demoed our old kitchen, removed soffits and outfitted the kitchen for new cabinets. They demoed our old tile floor and installed the new vinyl plank flooring. Then after our cabinets and counters were installed, they assisted us with our appliance outfitting. As with any home renovation project, there are snags and problems along the way, and they worked through them with ease. I've heard so many horror stories of people having nightmare experiences with contractors during home renovation projects, but I can safely say you won't with Matterhorn. Do your research and read the reviews - and hire Matterhorn for your next project. We will be having them back to do our bathrooms here in the next year or so. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Nick Lyon and team at Matterhorn Development. They did an amazing job removing a fireplace to add windows, replacing a wall of our dining room with a four panel sliding door, installing shiplap and building custom storage cubbies, removing a concrete ramp and pouring a flat patio, plus installing window trim, crown moulding, painting, adding can lights, and it is all amazing. We contracted Matterhorn Development to refinish the cabinets in our kitchen, living room and master bath. In addition, we had them add two sections of granite counter tops, add cabinet doors and design a mounting system for our large plasma TV. They transformed our worn cabinets into beautiful wooden accents to our new kitchen stone floors and Applejack hardwood floors. The refinished cabinets look stunning and the new cabinet doors match the existing ones perfectly. The TV mount works flawlessly and allows the screen to move into the room and be visible from multiple points depending on your angle in the room. The TV can be retracted easily when not in use. The black granite counter tops completed the room's ambiance. They tiled the floors, installed the new tub (and tiled up the side), put in a new (larger) shower with an inset and bench, installed new lighting, put in a backsplash, replaced the baseboards and all the other little details that come with a project of this size.
