Strawberry and Nutella

I got the classic crepes with strawberries, Nutella, AND kinder bueno They were phenomenal, some of the best I've ever had!!! I ordered at the little kiosk and was greeted by Kesi. She was very sweet and helpful with recommendations and my preferences! I will definitely be coming back soon

Thought I try some crepes for dessert tonight. Apple pie sounded like a good choice. Since I ordered ASAP and it said 8pm... I got there a few minutes before that thinking they were busy. No one was around. Worker was sitting down and on phone. Finally at 8 I knocked on window to get order... that was probably just sitting there since I ordered it 30 minutes before. Walked back to hotel, expecting to enjoy an apple pie crepe... instead I opened it to see a heavily chocolate covered crepe with cinnamon roll. Barely warm. Tried a piece of the cinnamon roll and it was dry. Do not recommend.

Supposedly the brownies and cream crêpe

Ordered a s'mores crêpe and somehow ended up with what they call the brownies and cream crêpe. Although all I received was three store-bought brownies inside a crêpe, that's it. No sauce, no cream no nothing. I see that I'm not the only one that this has happened to, where they don't care what you order and give you a half ass version of something else.

Order management - when the place isn't busy and we walk up to place an order at the kiosk, we don't expect a 30+ minute wait

Crepes are so much more of a surprise and delight situation so let me give that a shot. Even though they didn't have any reviews, I peeped their social media presence to make sure they were legit. Last-minute booking was super easy. Adam's communication style was laid back but professional. He charges by the hour and his set up includes some great combos that satisfy savory and sweet toothies alike. I've got to admit that I usually put my nose up at crepes because they never seem to fulfill the desire for a hearty meal but these were outstanding! The Saucisson for dinner and cookie butter + banana for dessert hit the spot! Oh my gosh! Almost forgot...he brought a speaker and was playing the classic music you'd hear at a French cafe. Very nice touch.

Every crêpe we make is made to order from scratch right in front of you on our giant grill. We offer sweet options with classic fillings like cinnamon sugar, Nutella, cookie butter, bananas, and strawberries, as well as savory options like ham, sausage, Gruyère and Brie. We even do specialty crêpes from time to time like the S’morgi with chocolate and marshmallow, and the Pumpkin Spice Crêpe with pumpkin butter.

But I am glad we had time today and went shortly after they opened for brunch and really enjoyed ourselves. We decided to share one savory crepe and one sweet. They are very large yet delicate and we barely finished them. Our savory was the Parisian and the sweet was the classic lemon. They were perfect in every way. Order at the counter when you arrive and choose a seat in the dining area. It's classic white walls with art and wood tabletops and metal classic cafe chairs. The food was excellent, the French chef owner made the crepes and delivered them to the table. We had picked up our drinks as we paid before choosing a table. It's usually been full when I've seen pictures in the past but it was a very cold day and students at CU as well as other families just getting back from the holiday season. They also offer Build Your Own Crepe and we probably will next time. For a sweet crepe next time I would do one with Nutella but without any banana as many of the standard choices had. For savory next time I would take the Normandy. We chose quickly today as a line started forming behind us. I had looked online at the menu though my husband had not had time. A plan would be good. It appeared that the counter staff may also be family. It is such a welcoming place with really good food, not found elsewhere in Boulder. And very good pricing for quality and portion size. They opened in an unusual little spot, almost downtown but not quite, in the stretch along Broadway between CU and the Pearl St Mall. They have a small parking access to 4 shared spaces with the shop next door to it and the access is on Arapahoe. If you are staying at the large new hotels on the Hill it's an easy walk, the equivalent of one long block. If you know Boulder well and need to easily park, there is paid parking in the library lot across Broadway and an easy flat walk both ways.
