Brian arrived at the exact time he mentioned, and with delicate care, loaded my beloved car, and the next call I received was from my mechanic that the car was delivered safe and sound. He responded quickly to my questions on Yelp messaging and answered all my questions, whereas other services either didn't reply for a long time or didn't even answer the question (or maybe didn't understand?). When the car arrived, I called him and he explained exactly what to expect. Pull up in front, or park on 12th and Fruitvale, give him a ring, and he'll come out to inspect the car, then we'd go inside to finish the paperwork. All I had to do was bring the title. He forgot to mention on the phone that he charges a 3% credit/debit card fee if not using cash, but there was a sign in the office stating this so it wasn't a surprise or anything. Within minutes, he gave me 2 plates, stickers, and the registration document, and filled out all the paperwork for me, I just had to sign in two places. I took a photo of all the pages and he said I would receive everything back in the mail from the DMV. There's a $5 off with Yelp check-in and I forgot to mention it until after he already charged me, but he gave me a $5 bill back, which I immediately went and used for tacos at Tacos Sinaloa #4 across the street ($3 per taco if you're wondering). Well worth paying for a service like this rather than try to figure out everything yourself and line up at the DMV. I was probably done with my tacos by the time someone would've finished up at the DMV.

We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

We made an appointment for Saturday morning as we wanted to surprise our daughter with the vanity built for her birthday. My son was also excited that his desk was going to be assembled as he wanted someplace to study, as well as a place to sit and play online Roblox with his friends instead of the dining room table. Guilherme texted me 15 minutes before our appointment to say that they were running behind schedule and would be at our home 20 minutes later than our scheduled appointment. I appreciated his communication with me that they were going to be late. When Guilherme arrived, he was accompanied by Isabella (who I learned was his fiancée who works with him). They were very friendly, and both went right to work on assembling the two items. They were professional, efficient and friendly, moving each of the furniture items after they were assembled to where we wanted them in our kids rooms. Great service! The guys here were friendly and polite, but a little evasive when it came to making a deal. In short, they play the negotiation game to the fullest extent. They came back a few times saying there was no deal, so when my hubs would say ok and get up to leave all of a sudden they would say "hold on, there might be something else we can do" and the negotiations would continue. Typical car salesmen haha. We ended up purchasing the vehicle, and it is a great vehicle in great condition. They have definitely helped to diminish the bad taste left in our mouths from the other dealership. Since this dealership is about 8 hours away from us I can't say that we would travel that far to buy a vehicle in the future, but I do know for the right deal we would definitely consider it haha!

Armando told me exactly the dollar amount for the removal and disposal, no hidden fees, you know what you will pay up front. He asked where I was and when I told him, he said he could be there in 20 minutes. He came faster than that. It took the three people who showed up only a couple of minutes to move a huge, heavy mattress and a large dresser from a squirrelly upstairs to the ground floor and out the door. They were courteous, fast, but most of all, they took excellent care while moving my things so as not to scrape the walls or anything (and as I mentioned, the staircase is weird and not easy to get things up and down). I was astounded by how easy they made this super daunting task! You can pay a corporation more money, or you can support local guys like the ones who work at A+. Trust me, you will not be happier by going with the big brand names. I will use A+ again in the future, and recommend them highly.
