Milki Mochi & Double Double Matcha Lattes

Matcha is definitely strong in the drinks here! Unfortunately, I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavor of whatever matcha they use (there is a hint of something too herbal maybe??). I got the Matcha Foam Coconut Cloud and really enjoyed it. The matcha cloud was the perfect sweetness paired with the refreshing coconut water, which was great because you can't adjust the sweetness level on this drink. I appreciated them filling my drink in my personal cup. I tried my friends' drinks--Milki Matcha, Salted Cheese Matcha, & Double Double Matcha; I enjoyed mine the best. All drinks had a very prominent matcha flavor, which was most important to me (: The extremely loud EDM playing was honestly a huge bummer and contributed to a very overstimulating environment in the already crowded and small shop.

Came on a weekday and there was no line. Drink was made within a few minutes. Tried the matcha pistachio and strawberry matcha. I like that the extra cream top doesn't overpower the matcha flavor. I got 50% sweetness so it was nice strong and earthy. Also for the Dubai chocolate cookie. It was nice chewy. Not overly sweet.

Overpriced basic matcha I've been wanting to try this place and was finally in the area. Parking was easy and plenty as it's in a plaza and the interior is bright and clean. Service is ok - minimal interaction with the employees since you order at the 2 kiosks. I asked for the bathroom code and they didn't say anything, but just pointed at a note. As for the drinks, the matcha is pre batched and pricey. $1 extra for oat milk (they use regular oatly, not barista edition if that matters to you). The drinks ARE good, but I don't think $10 for it is worth it

3.5/5 stars overall I went for the grand opening to try their Gelato at 50% off. My family got the dubai chocolate cone with pistachio Gelato and a mochi chocolate covering around it, topped with kataifi (regularly $14!). This was interesting to and definitely had all the components of dubai chocolate, but I don't think I would pay full price for it. I got a large cup ($8) of 3 flavors with matcha, yuzu, and citrus ricotta. I felt like the Gelato wasn't as creamy as I expected, compared to over shops in the area. The flavors were unique, but not my overall favorite. I wish they had black sesame. We also tried the jasmine matcha and mango passion fruit flavors. I probably will not return unless I'm in the area and other friends want to go. The ambiance was nice and calming. I liked their decor and their chairs were comfy to sit at. They had a decent number of tables and wifi. Service: uses the ordering tablets and then wait for the order to be ready. We placed our order immediately and then waited a while for the ice cream.

I don't know why this place gets some hate. I felt it was solid! Visited for their gelato. It was prepared very quickly and staff were helpful. Inside you have a couple touch kiosks and a register. Feels like a boba store. They had more tables than I expected tbh. I got thai salted cheese, ricotta citrus, and jasmine matcha. Jasmine matcha: pretty good but not exactly standout. Solid flavor for sure. Thai salted cheese: I couldn't really taste the salted cheese only the thai tea. Citrus ricotta: Absolutely my favorite. They had whole kumquat bits! Came for the matcha, stayed for that ricotta citrus gelato. Would recommend a stop.

Update: I came back to try their matcha latte. It was meh. I'd stick with their gelato (not the matcha flavor though). -- I liked their flavor options for the gelato. They have some pretty unique flavor combos that I haven't seen elsewhere. I went with their large and chose 3 flavors - matcha #3, rice milk, and yuzu sorbet. The yuzu sorbet would be my favorite. Rice milk was the perfect balance to bridge the other two flavors (sweet-bitter and sweet-sour). Consistency wise, it was good. It's not very stretchy, and it's more on the creamy side. I wouldn't call this place amazing for their gelato, but I do recommend coming here to try out the unique flavors! I also took some bites of my husband's Thai tea + citrus ricotta + jasmine matcha. I actually enjoyed the citrus ricotta one the most.

Matcha Mori is a newly opened matcha spot in Mountain View and I had to check it out. I tried the crème brûlée matcha and the milky mochi matcha, and both were really yummy. I'm more impressed by the mochi drink, mochi has a very unique texture, kinda liquid style but still chewy. I left my drink on the refrigerator overnight, and the next morning mochi was still stretchy, not stiff at all!!!! And for the matcha, you can definitely tell that they use a high quality matcha. The shop has a very cute, minimal white aesthetic that makes it super cozy. There's also free wifi and a few seats inside if you want to stay and hang out. I went there on a busy day but the service was still quick and efficient, got my drinks after like 10 minutes. Overall, great matcha place in the area and I'd love to come back again.

Matcha Mori is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic, high-quality matcha. From the moment you walk in, it's clear that the focus is on craftsmanship rather than overly sweet, trendy drinks. Dubai chewy cookie is honestly one of my favorites it's not overly sweet and it has a lot of kataifi. I love how they don't cheap out on it. I ordered a matcha latte, and it was excellent. The matcha had a vibrant color, smooth texture, and a rich, earthy flavor with just the right amount of natural bitterness. It was well-balanced, allowing the quality of the tea to shine without being drowned out by sweetness. The café has a calm, minimalist atmosphere that's perfect for slowing down and enjoying your drink. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about the different matcha options.

Came on a weekend right when they opened at 11:30. This place gets really busy right at the dot, which makes sense since they just opened recently two weeks ago (5/20/2026). The interior is nice, clean, and well lit. We got their strawberry and mango matcha lattes. Both were really good, not too sweet since they use fresh puree and chunks at the bottom instead of syrup.

Not sure why this place is rated so low - the matcha is incredible, really strong, and so creamy! Even during the holiday weekend, my friend and I were able to order and receive our matcha within a reasonable amount of time and get a table without any wait. We both got strawberry matcha lattes, and we really liked the strawberry bits and foam top. This place checked all the boxes.

Matcha Mori is the newest matcha & gelato spot that recently opened in Mountain View. They have a handful of matcha drinks and gelatos to choose from. I got the Double Rich Matcha and the matcha wasn't strong enough for me unfortunately. I'm not sure what milk they used, but it has an interesting oat milk taste and I'm not a fan of plant-based milks. The Matcha No 3 Gelato didn't have a strong matcha taste either, and it didn't help when I put the matcha gelato into the Double Rich Matcha to save the drink. However, I really like their Mango Sorbet Gelato since it tasted very refreshing and fruity. It has a strong mango and passionate taste that I really enjoy, which redeemed the whole experience. Service was quick and if you complete a Google review the shop was gifting a a fairly decent sized cute reusable tote bag. The decor was aesthetically pleasing and ambiance was relaxed. I feel like it is pretty rare to find a place that doesn't skimp on their matcha to milk ratio, so thank you, Matcha Mori, for that!! We tried the double double (matcha latte with matcha cheese foam) and it was incredible!! Smooth, super strong (if you're sensitive to caffeine, definitely go for the regular), slightly nutty and sweet. The cheese foam was the best I've ever had! The inside of the cafe is really cute and has comfortable seating. The wait time is quite long, but as they just opened it looks like they're just figuring out the kinks. -1 star because it is very much on the expensive side (it was almost $30 for our two drinks), and the use of AI-generated images on the menu and throughout the cafe. I'd rather see real photos of the actual drinks or no images at all :/ read more

Before I start my review , I want to give a sincere feedback to the owner/staff. So please don't take it in a wrong way but as a constructive criticism since I have tried Matcha drinks at 20+ places before and I feel you will be able to improvise on it and earn some loyal Matcha aficionados. Please try the same ' Crème Brûlée Matcha swirl latte' drink at Izumi Matcha- Cupertino which is at the same price like yours and then see for yourself what a vast difference it is in terms of quality and recipe of your creation with it. I sincerely felt when I had your version, it was as if I was having a Biscoff drink with lots of egg cream, cookie crumbs and lots of ice with a minimum quantity of matcha. There is really a feeling of completely mismatched expectations for a customer like me who wanted a simple matcha latte drink with crème brûlée. Try your competition and then decide for yourself! Disappointing experience at Matcha Mori - we waited over 30+ minutes for our drinks - they forgot 1 of 2 drinks in our order, so one was made and one was forgotten until my husband asked why everyone's orders after ours were called and ours weren't after waiting 30+ minutes. One drink was ready and it sat there forever so it wasn't good anymore and the other one they quickly made wasn't great. We understand they are newly opened and they hand whisk their drinks but I think this is a one and done for us. There are better spots out there worth visiting. read more

Matcha dubai chocolate $15 is good but expensive. Their fragrant milk ice cream is good. Their drinks are not good. Too milky/bland and not enough of matcha flavor. If you don't like your drink, they will not make another one for you as they will need to ring you up for another drink. I do not recommend their pistachio matcha nor the strawberry matcha drink. Unfortunately not coming back. read more

Overpriced diabetes in a cup. Got the strawberry matcha. Do yourself a favor: save yourself the trip and money. Go across Safeway and buy the Nestle strawberry milk. Boba Bliss would never. I had the displeasure of trying my friends rice gelato. Has the consistency and tastes like flour paste. The ambience is generic and low-quality, just like their matcha. We waited in line for 15 minutes to be told at the front that they were no longer taking orders for drinks because they were backed up on orders. We ended up getting a regular cup with the matcha and the rice gelato. Matcha gelato wasn't anything special and the rice gelato had grains of whole rice left in it. We waited in line just for the folks in the front (not the staff) storming off and telling us that they stopped taking orders (at ~3:30pm) Seriously?! Underprepared much? And a complete lack of customer service and professionalism. There are plenty of Matcha spots around the bay. From this experience, I would 100% avoid. They don't care, so I don't expect anything of quality from them. read more

The matcha's color looks promising, but it tasted so BAD. I got 50% sweetness or something less sweet I don't remember, and it came out SUPER SWEET. I don't know what kind of matcha they use, but it did not taste like matcha at all! When it was watered down, all I tasted was straight tea. The wait took so long too. The color looks decent but it's grainy and to sweet even with a reduction of sugar level. Went when it wasn't busy ". Staff was nice though! Not the ceremonial strong drink you are looking for. And the drink is to expensive. 3 stars bc service was nice. But for real, one star I wont ever come back. I accidentally purchased a drink without milk, they nicely added milk but that was terrible. Since I drove far I just bought another drink with milk. It was so bad as well. Two drinks $22 straight to the garbage sadly. read more

It's definitely softer than other ice cream I've tried, but I honestly prefer this type of elasticity. The flavors are very classic: I love the strawberry fresca, lychee, and stracciatella flavors. The weekend has the longest evening lines. The ambiance is a cute ice cream shop full of college kids. Overall a great place for dessert. To make life easier on yourself, grab a pint to share with friends instead of getting in line. Just my opinion.

And both of our plates of food came out hot and perfectly cooked which doesn't always happen at the Creamery. I guess we just eat there for the memories. My husband said none of the staff at the Creamery seem happy except for the host so if we don't see him seating the guests, we'll just go to Joanie's.

That response was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled with dismissiveness and no effort to make it right is unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I expected much better service and basic courtesy. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected, and I'll seriously reconsider coming back.

A beautiful new addition to the neighborhood! The shop boasts a very sophisticated, tasteless, and pristine modern design. Their gelato is a must-try--the mango, rice, and jasmine matcha flavors were standout favorites. We also sampled the strawberry matcha and matcha milk mochi drinks. You can instantly tell the matcha is high-grade; it has that wonderful ocean-breeze seaweed aroma, with a beautifully balanced sweetness that isn't overpowering. It happens to be located right near my workplace, making it my perfect new go-to. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed their Dubai chocolate, which was spectacular. Having made it from scratch myself, I know how labor-intensive it is, so I truly appreciate the craftsmanship here. We are so lucky to have such a premium dessert boutique nearby! read more
