To start off, the cafe is super cute. The matcha is fresh and so delicious. There are so many different options to try! We got the strawberry matcha, which in my opinion, is a must anywhere. The fruity pebble matcha was not terribly sweet but surprisingly complemented the matcha really well. For the non matcha lovers, they also have delicious smoothie options. I have been to their Bellevue location and I am glad to see this place opening closer to where I live. Located in Capitol Hill, this place specializes in matcha, as the name suggests, with many different variations. Some of these variations are quite unique, like the fruity pebbles matcha which is Capitol Hill exclusive, which I opted to try. The drink itself is solid, with good quality matcha, but the cereal oat milk drowns out the flavor of the matcha. It does complement well with the matcha, but you are drinking a glorified cereal milk. For $8+tax, it is a pricy drink, and I would opt for a less sophisticated matcha drink the next visit. read more

This place is super cute! Love the wall art and the tables and the staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations! Will update review once we try the drinks, stay tuned! Edit: tried the Capitol Hill exclusive Fruity Pebbles Matcha and loved it! The only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the soggy fruity pebble toppers, but everything else tastes great! I got matcha latte. They have many different milk options, and most of them are free of extra charge, which I really appreciate. I honestly did not think I would like the matcha from here but was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the strawberry matcha for me & my friend and really enjoyed it! I was able to taste the matcha and the strawberry puree was the perfect balance to add some sweetness but not too much. I went early so there were no other customers so the drinks came out fairly quick. The cafe itself was super cute also. I tried the Matcha Julep and my friend got the Strawberry Matcha. We both agreed that the darker matcha colors gives off more of the earthiness of matcha. Went during the grand opening. I was one of the first 250 guests and was able to secure a strawberry matcha cookie. Yum. I ordered the matchamallow. The matcha and marshmallow mixed well together. The marshmallow wasn't too overpowering and the matcha was still visible. I'm not too good at writing reviews so you can add in big interesting words yourself. Overall I'd come back for another drink. The inside is pretty cute too. Music is a bit loud so maybe studying or working here wouldn't be ideal read more

The toppings are always fresh and presented well, and the bowl is packed to the brim, which I appreciate. The staff are also very friendly, and though I've never had the time to sit in and eat there, there are a few spots to sit that are almost always taken - they are busy! I also enjoy the mini cheese bites and one of these days I'll try some of their other hot food items.
