Excellent service! We stopped at Match for beers after a day at the Sea to Sky Gondola. The service was great, the beers were cold and the wings were tasty! Would defiantly recommend to anyone in the area. Also like that they have daily specials and a very good happy hour. read more

After reading a couple not so complimentary reviews, then trying this place for brunch, I had to leave a review on how outstanding my breakfast experience was here. First off, brunch is $10 on Sat+Sun from 10-2pm. You get a selection of a hash skillet, basic eggs, eggs benny, waffles, etc. (I've included a pic of my smoked salmon benny) Housemade hollandaise which was silky, buttery and expertly crafted. Eggs were a perfect medium, english muffins were crisped in a pan just like a grilled cheese. Salmon was lightly smoked and the perfect consistency. Tatertot hashbrowns were very simple of course, but worked great with this dish. Great coffee too and drinks specials. Service was attentive and pleasant. This place is a breakfast gem which is overlooked along the highway. If you're passing through at the right time, definitely grab your brunch here. Came here for brunch with a group of my friends right when they opened at 10am. The server was extremely attentive and friendly -- always checking in if we needed refills for drinks and checking in every so often asking if we needed anything else. 5 stars for service for our server. All our dishes came at the same time, except for 1 of our guests. I thought it wasn't quite awkward how everyone had their food first and he had to wait another 10 minutes. The food was average at best. I ordered the hash, which had cheeze and corn beef. It was rather greasy and flavourless, which the kitchen probably knew of because they gave us about 9 full dishes of ketchup on the side. Without the ketchup, it would probably taste like nothing but a pile of salt. Good thing i ordered a side of the belgian waffles, which were crispy and relatively tastey because it came with syrup and raspberries. In the end, I was full -- but not a "happy" kind of full. Overall, wouldn't come here again. Unless the upper floor is open because apparently there is a beautiful view up there of the mountains. read more

I've been here a few times, service is good. Food can be a bit slow. My first experience there even the waiter thought my food was taking its time. The portions aren't huge, but filling. I had their salmon which was tasty but maybe a bit over done. Their beet salad was very good and well prepared, I enjoyed the beet salad. I had one of their desserts, at the time it was similar to a Baklava. which was tasty. One afternoon I was there for Appy Hour and tried their Yam fries and Chick bites. Both were very mediocre. Maybe the best patio in Squamish? The view is okay, but the patio is heated very sufficiently with cozy fires so I was quite comfortable on a mid September evening out there. It's apparent that the owners invested a lot of money into making this a classy joint. We shared a few appetizers between the two of us and the mini Yorkshire puddings were out of this world! They were so delicious we went back an half an hour after we left for another order! We also had wings and sliders. The buns on the sliders were stale unfortunately, but the presentation was nice. Overall, The menu is fun and delicious. Our service was okay - it was apparent our server had a long day, but he was very nice. We will be back! read more

I went here for the first time on Thursday, Aug. 3rd with 2 of my friends after a long day of fishing. As soon as we walked in we were impressed with the layout and decor, and when we went upstairs we were very pleased to see they had a beautiful covered patio. We had salt and pepper wings as our appy (which were ok) and then I had the cod and chips, which I thought were ok as well. My friends raved about their Caesar salad. The service was excellent as everyone was helping out one another, and our server, Rochelle, was very helpful and friendly. We all agreed that we would come here again as we all felt we got decent value for what we spent. read more

After eating here a few times with okay results, I came away from tonight's meal with 'never again'. Waited an hour & 15 mins for sandwiches & salads. When asked why it took so long, we were told they were short staffed in the kitchen and there was a bingo downstairs. Common curtesy would be to tell your prospective clients that when they show up - (especially with children on a Sunday night) so they can then decide if such a wait is acceptable. They ran out of fries, then offered yam fries, and then delivered onion rings. Waitress was surly and rude. We had to go to bar to ask for more drinks and water refills. A Free bag of Doritos and a 15% locals discount to make up for it. That doesn't quite cut it - this local will not be coming back. read more

At Match on Canada Day after a big hike, TERRIBLE service. Took the server (Jana) 25 minutes to bring us fucking water. We ordered an appie and she didn't even put it in!!! So we just ordered our main dishes. (Good management would have just brought that for free or something, but whatever that doesn't even matter). She is so unaware of the menu and works so incredibly slow. There's no one even in here. The table behind us is even complaining about the service We were about to leave, after waiting for just waters but we saw her finally walking our way as two people in our party had stood up. I'm literally livid. I've been a server, I know how it is...she isn't hustling or prioritizing what's going on well or managing or time properly. JOB OPENING It doesn't even matter how good or bad food is. The service killed the whole experience. Worst part is: manager was sitting at the table to the right of us (with her boyfriend/husband) and didn't say a thing. Thin, blonde, young woman. Least she could do is step in. Wow, I am almost impressed at how terrible their service can be. We were a group of 6 people out for a family lunch and incredibly disappointed. Let me start hey saying the food itself was actually mostly fairly tasty. In total we ordered nachos, 2 x grilled cheese and ham sandwiches, a beef dip and a Reuben. This took about an hour to arrive. In the meantime did the server stop by to fill or drinks or keep us updated as to why even though there were literally no other customers in the whole place our meals took an hour to arrive, no. That was the ongoing theme throughout our entire experience. No one stopped by the table to fill our drinks or check to see if the food was adequate, the plates were left in the table about 20 minutes past everyone being finished and again our drinks sat empty. Add another 20 minutes in an empty restaurant to get our checks and needless to say the 2 stars are solely based on the food (I would give the food alone a higher rating)I think they need to do some training with their staff, the server was unfriendly and quite frankly not doing her job. After waiting for quite awhile-expecting our food to come-our waitress came over to tell us one of the items we ordered was out - seriously? Could you not have told us this when the order was put in? Great patio, okay food. The mains are small, which is great for weight watchers; unfortunately, you will still be hungry unless you also order an appy or two. Still, it is a lot better now than the previous restaurant(s) at this location. Best to go for happy/appy hour. read more
