He quickly identified several entry points the mice were likely using that I never would have considered myself. During the work, he was even able to show me staining and other evidence confirming they were actively using those routes to get into the attic. I was also very happy to learn that Erik is a licensed roofing contractor in addition to performing rodent exclusion work, as I needed my roof valleys cleaned as well. After removing the tiles, he showed me how much debris had built up underneath in areas that weren't visible from the outside and explained that I was likely only about a year away from developing a major leak. Overall, I found his pricing to be very fair, and he was genuinely one of the friendliest people I've worked with. I'll absolutely be calling him again in a few years for another checkup.

If you have the chance to get them to come out to do the job, stop researching all the other options out there because trust me, they will do the job as good as anyone can do it, but also bring professionalism, integrity, compassion and a real human understanding. I was losing sleep every night because there was rummaging and scraping taking place on the roof above my bed. I suspected it was either birds or squirrels and had tried checking everything myself but couldn't find anything. I called around to some places to describe the issue I was having and at least one person referred me to Thomas Wildlife Control. I called up and managed to luck out by securing an appointment the following day. Brandon showed up on time ready to go to work and was very personable. He walked me through the process he would take and was very transparent with me including setting expectations so there wasn't any guess work involved. Cutting to the chase, he not only managed to find what was going on and causing it, but took the time to show me and explained how important it was to catch the culprit then because of all the other damage that could be done if it wasn't caught. Then he managed to provide a very reasonable solution to take care of the problem and did excellent, clean work. Brandon was like the more professional Doctor Doolittle / animal whisperer and made the whole experience feel easy and a great value. Now I'm sleeping peacefully and feel reassured that the problem was resolved. It's rare to feel like you really get what you paid for these days and I not only feel this way, but like I got the gold standard of work done. Getting pricing info and making an appointment was seamless with Yelp's messaging system. Kevin was so helpful in keeping me apprised of the process and the appointment time/date. On the day of, Zack showed up promptly and with a smile. I was so surprised when he told me my one-time treatment would actually allow follow-up visits within 30 days. He told me the first treatment would be spraying and then the second treatment would be getting rid of the webs. Wow, what a great deal! Both days Zack was punctual, friendly and professional. We even talked about the celebrities he looks like! (You'll have to meet him in person to guess which celebrity) On the second treatment day, he came armed with a cobweb brush and I actually felt kinda embarrassed because it was like he was doing housekeeping for the spiderwebs! We'd requested ahead of time to have the garage treated as well (because normally they only treat the outside unless we ask them to spray anywhere else, in which case they're more than happy to do so). My wife opened our garage up before heading out with our kids, and the tech could've easily finished the job and just moved on. But instead, he knocked on the door afterward to let us know he was done so we could shut the garage. He specifically said he didn't want us to leave it open longer than needed. Some might say that's just part of the job, but the truth is, small gestures like that aren't so common anymore. At least not in my experience. It showed genuine thoughtfulness and care--and that matters a lot to us. Great service, as always.

Master Pest Patrol owner Paul responded immediately to my panicked call after I was stung 16 times by yellowjackets in my back yard. We found a swarm of bees in our butterfly bush today. I called Paul at 430 pm (weekday) and he came out in 15 minutes and took care of the bees in no time at all. He cut the swarm out, boxed it up to take it to a friend's hive, and was completely helpful and professional. Barrier Pest Solutions provided inadequate service to my residence for three years. Initially, it…read moreappeared as though it was a fairly decent company, as their representatives were cordial. However, the dilemma with Barrier Pest Solutions is their claim that a sufficient service would be performed and billed roughly $120 per every three months. In actuality, this has, consistently, proved to be an insufficient service. Indeed, it was necessary to re-treat my residence prior to the next service date. In fact, the chemicals used were hardly ever effective for a term of three full months. CONSUMER WARNING: Barrier offers a "free return-service" if needed. At face-value this appears reasonable. Although not initially disclosed, there exists an inconvenient 'fine print' permitting Barrier to charge the account if the request for return-service fails to meet specific terms and conditions. As a result, I terminated service with Barrier. Within a short window of time, having second thoughts concerning the termination of a family-owned business, I respectfully requested services to be reinstated. Several repeated inquiries went unanswered. With a little persistence, a response to the inquiry was ultimately received: Short answer -- Yes, of course, you may be reinstated, but NOT at the rate which was billed previously. The new rate: $120 for services performed and invoiced every TWO months, a drastic one-third increase billed to the consumer. Conclusively, Barrier grew weary of honoring their return-service policy. Therefore the previous agreement was withdrawn. From my perspective, it was an error in judgement that Barrier denied the request for reinstatement under the terms of our previous agreement while replying with a counter-offer at a steep 33% rate increase. In retrospect, considering Barriers brazen counter-proposal, I am satisfied of the decision to terminate service. Although, I would make the argument, that Barrier essentially terminated the agreement by means of failure to adhere to its own terms and conditions as presented to the consumer.

Getting pricing info and making an appointment was seamless with Yelp's messaging system. Kevin was so helpful in keeping me apprised of the process and the appointment time/date. On the day of, Zack showed up promptly and with a smile. I was so surprised when he told me my one-time treatment would actually allow follow-up visits within 30 days. He told me the first treatment would be spraying and then the second treatment would be getting rid of the webs. Wow, what a great deal! Both days Zack was punctual, friendly and professional. We even talked about the celebrities he looks like! (You'll have to meet him in person to guess which celebrity) On the second treatment day, he came armed with a cobweb brush and I actually felt kinda embarrassed because it was like he was doing housekeeping for the spiderwebs! Excellent experience and so far I haven't seen any spiders left! Highly recommend this company. Thank you so much, Good Earth, for helping me get rid of the scary spiders so I can have peace of mind to clean the house. :)

We had them out…read moreyesterday for our regular bi-monthly treatment--and while I didn't catch the young man's name, he was excellent. We'd requested ahead of time to have the garage treated as well (because normally they only treat the outside unless we ask them to spray anywhere else, in which case they're more than happy to do so). My wife opened our garage up before heading out with our kids, and the tech could've easily finished the job and just moved on. But instead, he knocked on the door afterward to let us know he was done so we could shut the garage. He specifically said he didn't want us to leave it open longer than needed. Some might say that's just part of the job, but the truth is, small gestures like that aren't so common anymore. At least not in my experience. It showed genuine thoughtfulness and care--and that matters a lot to us. Great service, as always.

We have a serious ground squirrel problem around our house. We called local business and people but…read moredidn't answer the phone or didn't deal with ground squirrels. Then I found Sacramento Valley Wild Life Services. They charged $495 as initial service fee that according to the agreement covered inspection, trap set up and removal. They sent a young woman (looked like a teenager). she barely talked, didn't inspect our property, and put 2 cages in random places (we have more than 25 tunnels along our foundation). in 10 days nothing has been trapped. The only things that they caught were ants, lots of ants. so now we don't only have a squirrel problem, we have an ant problem. I have to add that these people charge $145 for each squirrel they catch. We regret spending those $500 ...
