Jake from Fast Action Pest was amazing! He thoroughly inspected our attic, roof, and vents and found no signs of rats or squirrels inside the attic--no droppings, trails, or damage to the eave vents. He explained that the rodents were likely just staying outside on the roof. I really appreciated his honesty, knowledge, and expertise. The company was also recommended by my aunt, who had a great experience with their rodent exclusion and quarterly service. Highly recommend Fast Action Pest! Honest, professional, and truly lives up to their name! read more

I'm in the 95829 Sacramento area, and my experience with Fast Action Pest Control started with an unsolicited door-to-door salesperson on August 6, 2026. I told the salesperson multiple times that I was not interested in ongoing pest control service, but he continued pushing the service. I eventually agreed only after he represented to me that I could receive the treatment one time and then cancel. What was not clearly verbally disclosed or explained to me was that cancelling after that initial treatment would result in a $299 charge. Had the salesperson clearly told me, "You can cancel after the first treatment, but you'll owe $299 if you do," I would never have agreed. When I later cancelled and disputed the $299 charge, I explained this directly to the company. Their response focused heavily on saying that a contract had been emailed to me instead of addressing my concern about what their salesperson represented and failed to clearly explain during the door-to-door interaction. I have preserved video and audio relating to the solicitation, and I have now filed a formal complaint with the California Structural Pest Control Board regarding the sales interaction and disclosure of the cancellation charge. My issue is not simply that cancellation language exists in the paperwork. My issue is how the service was presented to me at my door after I repeatedly declined and the fact that the $299 consequence was not clearly verbally explained before I agreed. If you live in the 95829 area or surrounding Sacramento neighborhoods and Fast Action comes to your door, take your time and read every term before agreeing to anything. Pay particular attention to the length of the agreement and any early-cancellation charges. This review reflects my personal experience with the company. read more

We've had a very frustrating experience with Fast Action Pest Control. We were charged throughout the year for service, but despite their claims that technicians came to our home, no one showed up on multiple occasions. I work from home, so I would have known if someone had actually come by. Because the pest control service was not being performed as expected, our crawlspace ended up becoming infested with mice. When we contacted the company about the situation not only did they send someone who never showed up again but they also refused to provide us with a refund. We paid for a service that, in our experience, was not consistently provided, and we were left dealing with a serious pest problem as a result. I would not recommend this company based on our experience. read more

I had a great experience with Sean. He came out to service my mom's home, was on time, and arrived before noon, before I had to leave for work. He was very thorough from start to finish. Sean took the time to inspect my mom's home and carefully identified where the rodents were coming from. When I told him I noticed there were a few mice/rats around the backyard about 2 weeks ago, when we had some hot weather. Unfortunately, there were plenty of mice/rats and some babies in a pot, but he explained the situation clearly and made sure I understood what was going on and what needed to be done when he found them in our broken BBQ set-up in the backyard. I also really appreciated how professional, respectful, and detailed he was while servicing my home. He helped ensure the house was properly de-webbed and treated to keep it roach-free. It gave me peace of mind knowing that he was not just rushing through the job, but actually looking for the source of the problem and taking care of the details. THANK YOU!!!!!! I would definitely recommend Sean and Fast Action Pest Control to anyone needing reliable pest control service. See you again in 2 months!! Side note: if you plan to sign up, be advised that not all forms of payment are accepted; American Express is not. Other than that, great service!!! Thank you. read more

Very professional notify me when coming in minutes. Knows my home so he knows the area to hit.

Fast Action Pest Control has been outstanding, and Naomi Markwardt is a major reason why. Her professionalism and deep knowledge of pest behavior set her apart immediately. She doesn't just treat the problem--she explains what's happening, why it's happening, and how to prevent it in a way that actually makes sense. Naomi has helped us tackle rats, weevils, and even a stuborn ant colony, and each time she's been thorough, patient, and incredibly informative. You can tell she genuinely cares about solving the issue the right way. If you want someone who knows her stuff and takes the time to teach you along the way, Naomi is the one you want on your property. Fast Action Pest Control is lucky to have her, and so are their customers. read more

It's been some time and I am just seeing the response from the owner. Luckily I remember my interaction with this company vividly. Initially we were in communication regarding the issues I was experiencing with this service. You were not helpful, nor were you willing to address the problem. I am not paying for services that were not happening (period). I am sure you wouldn't either. Due to your willful neglect of my account, I stopped wasting my time speaking with you. read more

We have the service come out every other month. The issue in our area is cockroaches. Well, everyone calls them water bugs cuz they live and breed in the water system along the street and become especially active once the summer heat kicks in, but who are we kidding, they are cockroaches. Fast Action notifies us the day before they arrive and ask if there's any particular concern. They're in and out quickly and also brush the eaves for spider webs. The roach issue is under control. As a bonus, ants are also under control, but that was never a major concern. If I had any minor complaint, I'd ask the guys to double check the brushes before swiping our house down. Our house is white, and a dirty or muddy brush transfers muck onto the white paint and stucco. I don't think another service would be any different tho. Some guys are more mindful of a dirty brush than others. Overall, solid service. read more

If you want someone to be knocking at your door at 8 o'clock at night promoting their business these are your guys. Show some respect and don't be showing up so late knocking on my door . Usually the trashy companies do these kind of activities. Not to mention him walking through peoples yards and driveways not even using the sidewalks. read more

This is a company that does not respect "No Soliciting" signs. I have had multiple conversations with representatives from this company coming to my door repeatedly despite the signs saying No Soliciting. I've been told by their employees it's because they "like to take their chances." If you look through these reviews you'll see this is a repeated problem. I've now began talking to my neighbors who use them about switching service to another company because of how rude and disrespectful this company is. They're considering it and I've even offered to throw in my own money to facilitate the switch just to get these people out of my neighborhood. Do not use them unless you want your neighbors to be upset with you due to them being unable to follow a No Soliciting sign. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience. A solicitor from this pest control company came by on a scooter and left tire marks across my sidewalk. This was especially frustrating because I had spent the entire morning the day before pressure washing my sidewalk and driveway. I reached out to the company about the issue and received no response. Although I did receive an automated message saying my message was received, but no update. Accidents happen, but ignoring a customer's concern is not acceptable. Based on this experience, I do not plan on using this company and nor will I recommend them to my clients. read more

I VALUE HONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES... BEWARE OF THE "FREE/NO PRESSURE" INTRODUCTION -- ASK ABOUT CANCELLATION FEES BEFORE YOU AGREE TO ANYTHING. A solicitor from this company came to my door and told me that a neighbor was having service done. He offered to have them come by and spray my mother's house as well. I agreed to schedule the service. A couple of days later, they came, performed the spraying, and I paid with my credit card and signed for the transaction. That was a month ago. When the next service was coming up, I told them I wanted it scheduled for a month later because I simply did not need them to come sooner. Instead of working with my schedule, they only pushed the appointment back seven days. At that point, I decided I no longer wanted the service. I told them I didn't need it and wanted to cancel. THAT'S WHEN I LEARNED ABOUT THE $150 CANCELLATION FEE. Had I understood that agreeing to the service would put me under an arrangement with a $150 cancellation charge, I would never have agreed in the first place. My advice: READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN, AND SPECIFICALLY ASK ABOUT CANCELLATION FEES AND CONTRACT TERMS. Don't assume that because someone comes to your door offering to service your home, you can simply decide later that you no longer want the service without being charged. For me, the whole experience felt like an entrapment-style sales tactic: get the customer to agree at the door, get the first service completed, and then make it expensive to walk away. BUYER BEWARE. ASK QUESTIONS. READ THE FINE PRINT. AND DON'T FALL FOR IT. read more

I hired them after I noticed some cockroaches outside near the cat food. I was wary about signing up for a subscription, but they warned me that a one time service was not going to fix the problem. I signed up for the quarterly service where they spray the perimeter and garage, and remove any webs. It has been over a year now, and I am so glad we use them and are very happy with the results. Besides getting rid of the roaches, we now don't get any of the occasional bugs inside the house. Not one spider, ant or centipede that used to grace us is anywhere to be found since we started the service, and I can't imagine going back. Highly recommend! read more

Victor of Fast Action Pest Control performed my bi-monthly pest control service 6/17/29. This month, I called the office requesting additional attention to certain areas due increase insect activity. I get a written summary and an online summary of services performed. Professional and thorough. As a woman, I feel very comfortable with the technicians. I've been a customer for 15 months. Our first service with Fast Action and their technician Patrick was great! Patrick was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped to determine that we may have a wood beetle issues versus a termite issue in one of our sheds where I store firewood, which was a relief. Great customer service! We were having SO MUCH TROUBLE with those teeny tiny ants, and nothing we did could eradicate them. We've been using Fast Action Pest Control since we moved to the area a couple of years ago, and they've been consistently knowledgeable, responsive, and diligent. They've been a model of integrated pest management principles, and their agricultural experience is a big bonus since our garden covers most of the yard. We've worked hard to bring in beneficial insects and pollinators, and knocking back the pests while keeping our little ecosystem healthy is worth its weight in gold. Kyler is our usual contact, and he's always careful to work around our sprawling garden, check for wasp nests and black widows, and flag any concerns we should look into. He's been a huge help when hot weather brings ant invasions - especially since my partner has a phobia, so handling ants quickly is essential! We initially contracted Fast Action because we were worried about our cats eating or hunting a black widow, and despite how common they are in our area, we never see them in our yard or garage anymore, which is a huge relief and more than worth the monthly cost. Before Kyler started taking care of our property, we would see half a dozen in our firepit alone! Andrew and Sean have come recently for off-schedule assistance, when crop plowing a few blocks away brought mice into our garden, biting bean and squash plants in half and bringing the usual concern about disease. They were both fantastic and knowledgeable, let us know what to expect, and used bait which would be safe for our cats and our garden. They answered our questions about ants and pantry beetles, and Sean flagged a small crack in our foundation before it could become a bigger issue. No matter what pest we're worried about, Fast Action has done a great job, and we'd highly recommend them. read more

I have been having a squirrel problem for years now, but never realized how extensive it was becoming until I started hearing falling sounds in the walls at different areas of my house. At first, I was in denial that rodents were able to sneak in. But I finally had enough, and made the call to Fast Action Pest Control. They were able to schedule same day service where they initially deployed Garrett P. to do a free home inspection. He was very nice and did a great job searching all of the concerning sections of my home. He bravely went into my scary, dirty attics and then up on top of my roof to inspect the roof transitions, vents, bottle jacks, eave gaps, and front porch pillar. He discovered many areas of concern. Things I would have never realized were an issue! Garrett gave me his professional recommendations, showed me his photos, and created an estimate that would install and cover all accessible openings with sturdy wire mesh that still allows important air flow without allowing rodent intrusion. He also noted an area that may be an opening made by the squirrels above my garage. A one way trap door will be installed, so that any varmints still inside, can get out, but not back in. Fast Action will return in 2-4 weeks to remove the trap door and do a final seal of the area. All of this also includes a one year warranty. The friendly technicians arrived on time the next day to do the installations and showed photos of the work that was done on the roof. My fee cost $750.00. Probably well worth the avoidance of any more property damage and the scary noises going on day and night! I'm strongly considering their services again soon, to rid my property of a never ending ant problem!! read more

Tech has been ok. However, learned after two of my neighbors stopped by to ask me to contact Fast Action to report their salesperson(s) that would not STOP harassing them by constantly soliciting them for business and not taking NO for an answer and leave when asked. I will not support a company that does not have ethical sales conduct AND our HOA does NOT allow un-approved solicitation in our neighborhood; so therefore; YOU ARE TRESPASSING w/o Permission. read more

BOTTOM LINE IS THEIR SERVICE DOES NOT WORK. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR ENERGY HIRING THIS COMPANY.. their customer service is HORRIBLE!!
