I had these guys for a little over two years, customer service was excellent when I started... It eventually went down the hill, I don't think they're a bad company. I just don't think that they're able to deliver on their promises. I think they're really good for like six months, but be prepared to look for a different company wants your year. I'm not sure if I have provided a review on my experience with ProActive Pest Control in the past. If I have, consider this review a current update. I have a bi-monthly contract with ProActive Pest Control. I called them outside of the normal pest control maintenance day, to see if someone could come out to check my attic because I had heard scratching noises a few days prior. They gave me an appt right away. Anthony, the technician was excellent! He was courteous and very informative. He checked the perimeter of the house first and then inspected the attic. He found the area where some sort of rodent was coming into the attic. All was taken care of quickly. I have to say I felt more at ease once Anthony diagnosed the issue. The rodent was trapped and removed a few days later. There was no extra charge for this particular service. Once again, ProActive has the most professional, knowledgeable and friendliest technicians I have encountered. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. The technicians are wonderful people, but this business is a train wreck. I had rats in my walls and they came out 12 TIMES with literally 10 different technicians before the problem was adequately diagnosed. I got three different estimates to solve the problem from them...it went from $2K to $5K to $12K. Insane. Communication was horrific (repeated follow up calls to get things done and even estimates). I had to sign for a new account when my aunt died, she had had the account for years and years. I paid for service monthly at 55 for 4 months on what I was under the impression would cost 399 for the year. When I went to close the account I had to pay off the yearly agreement 399 minus the first payment, but they did not give any credit for the other months paid and I ended up having to pay 564 to them and they only came 2 times. A total rip off, claiming that is what their contract says. They have no compassion for those of us dealing with death and surely they did not earn by working 564 dollars in the 4 months of the contract. I say Pro Active Pest sucks. read more

He took time to clean the cob webs, spray inside the garage and put insect traps, & also answer any questions that I had. When he finished, he texted that the job was complete. Pro Active Pest Control always gives their best effort. In this case, I asked for extra help with a pesky bird that keeps roosting above my front door and dropping evidence of his presence. An earlier attempt to deter this bird did not work, so Duane came out to assist by climbing up a very high ladder to spray a bird repellent product on the ledge that has been hosting this unwelcome guest. At our next appointment, Carlos worked with us to find the best solutions to address all the entry points on our home. He did an excellent job rebuilding the door to our crawl space with meticulous attention to detail to ensure it blended well with the aesthetics of our home. A third appointment was needed to set additional traps and Just was friendly, quick to set the traps, and communicative about the state of our attic. When a billing issue arose (the $100 discount was accidentally added rather than subtracted) the administrative staff was quick to resolve the issue with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Prior to that we used to have a problem with ants at least once a year and frequent wasp/hornet nests in the eaves.
