The shops itself was comfortable and quaint. We got a coffee, monkey bread cupcake and we saw something behind the counter area that looks prepped but not on display that looked great. Apple crumble cake was what I think they said. We bought it and it didn't last long with us. My wife downed the coffee and didn't share with me but she said it was amazing. Considering I am not vegan the vegan baked goods are the bees knees. My favorite is the pumpkin cream cheese sandwich it's so moist and the vegan cream cheese frosting is amazing. Bummer it's only a fall seasonal item. I could eat this tasty treat all the time. Their Oreo brownies are delicious and that is one of their regular menu items. The churro brownie is quite tasty as well nice and chewy. This too is another seasonal item. The monkey bread cupcake could have been more flavorful it wasn't bad, but not one of my favorites. They iced coffees are amazing and refreshing, definitely must try. The customer service is good they staff is very helpful and do give excellent recommendations. The inside of they bakery is cute and cozy and very welcoming. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. I was really disappointed, not only in the cake but in the owner Julian's absolute terrible…read morenightmare of customer service. We also spoke with Bailey, was lovely and apparently took the fall on Julian's behalf. I'd also like to note we ordered a cake here last year and visit Julian's restaurant in Folsom about 2x a month so, as I said I'm extremely disappointed. We ordered a cake for my son's birthday. Wanted a jungle theme. I could've gotten past the ugly (and not what we ordered) decorations had the cake not been cracked in multiple places on the bottom tier. I called, let them know it was cracked and they had me talk to the owner, Julian, who went on to blame us, saying this happened during transport. (It didn't, the cake was frozen. You can also see the terrible job icing it at the top proving it was frozen, and that the cake didn't shift in transport as there was no icing or anything on the cake board.) He argued with me, he was exceptionally rude and tried to put the blame on me. Eventually, he agreed to refund me 50% for the cake. When we cut into it, not only was it frozen, (the same tier that was cracked) but it was also not even the correct filling or cake. I'm not sure what happened, but I called to demand a full refund as this cake was not what I ordered, and the arrogant, rude, owner Julian insulted me, saying I was trying to con a small business. Bailey, who was extremely professional and polite, called back to confirm that wasn't what we ordered and to offer us a full refund. Julian is rude, disrespectful and didn't provide what I ordered. When he was called out he insulted me, insulted my intelligence (by telling me the cake wasn't frozen--when it was, as well as tell me I tried to con a small business.) as people who were extremely loyal to his business, I'm disgusted and disappointed and will not be returning. I'd also encourage you to beware of spending your money here, because you may not get what you order, you may but it's a full risk you will have to take. I also refuse to support rude or mean people. Best of luck if you gamble and order here. I wouldn't have nearly been as mad, nor taken the time to write this review had he not been such a jerk.
