We had them out to clean dryer vent and house ducts. Dryer was working great before they came. Afterwards it was super humid and not drying. Called and sent pictures of the gunk that was coming out of the dryer vent outside. Asked that they come back out. They were going to schedule us 4 days out. I said that wasn't soon enough that we needed it fixed. Talked with Eli. He said he would check and call back. He never returned the call. Scam. Avoid at all costs. They charged us $98 for just wiping the dust from the vents. Their ad special shows the inside of the actual ducts be cleaned and vacuumed. We are extremely unhappy with their service. We only paid the $98 to avoid making a scene with their pushy/agressive tech (Tony) who claimed that he had "five kids" and he will not do the service as advertised for $98 per their ad and cleaning the inside of the ducts as they show in their ad special would cost hundreds of dollars. I wish there was a zero star option. THIS IS A SCAM. I was quoted $125 for Complete air duct and chimney cleaning. The flyer said unlimited ducts, antibacterial, sweeping etc. The technician arrived and proceeded to hookup a suction machine to one of my vents and then told my wife that it would $3000 to actually clean out the vents and that all that was included was them hooking up this machine. My wife, being the trusting person she is, accepted this as fact and proceeded. He then cleaned my chimney (which was done well). Then, when I got home, I asked how the cleaning went and she informed they had only done the downstairs and they had charged $180. I called the company to get this figured out and I was told that "the quote that was given was for $150 and the technician received a $16 tip (which we did not authorize). The managers response was "I'm sorry but that is our price and you got a good deal. We can come back out for an additional $75 and do the upstairs if you like." read more

This company is a scam. We have a similar experience with the other one star reviews on this page. We had an air duct and chimney cleaning package scheduled through the coupon the many others are referencing. I think the tech was trying to take advantage of my wife since I wasn't home. The job was supposed to get done for $99, and we were even supposed to get a military discount. The tech looked at our chimney/fireplace but didn't clean it even though he was supposed to. Upon inspection of the furnace in the attic, my wife was told that we have mold in the house and it needs to be cleaned and sanitized. For only $1700, they can take care of it. My wife called me at this point to share these details and also said she was skeptical of what she was being told. We told him we'd like a second opinion before anything was done. He then said, if they don't do it now it will be more expensive when they return. We decided to take our chances. My credit card was charged $89 + tax anyway even though nothing was done in our home, and we didn't even get a receipt. I called the company later to try to speak with a manager about this. I had to call four or five times over the course of a few weeks and nothing was done. I was told the manager is "very busy" and not able to speak to me. The girl on the phone told me she can barely get ahold of him, but he does respond through chat. He finally sent me an invoice that I requested every time I called prior to, and offered me a $20 refund since the chimney wasn't cleaned. The invoice said basic air duct cleaning (which wasn't done) and no military discount was applied. The coupon for an air duct cleaning only is $59, so why was I charged $89 for it?! I'm still waiting for a call from the manager, which I don't expect to come. I proceeded to call another company that had an ad in the coupon book since we still needed the service done. When I called for Express Air Duct Cleaning I got the same girl on the phone to schedule an appointment. I asked if she works for more than one company and she said, "Yes, we do Express Air Duct Cleaning and Masters Air Duct Cleaning." I told her I didn't need anything at that point. My review of Masters Air Duct Cleaning July 5, 2022 My appointment was scheduled between 3 and 6 pm, so I left to run errands. They showed up while I was gone hoping to get in early. I only know this because of the trash they left in my driveway when they got out of the van. Most people would probably say big deal, especially in Jacksonville, Fl where it is so very trashy. Not me though. I looked on my security cam to see where the trash came from, which is how I found out they had tried to come early. I of course threw the trash away and never said anything to them. Looking back, I most definitely should have said something. When they left they decided to leave more trash in my driveway, instead of ice cream wrappers, this time I got an empty gallon bucket of cleaner and what looked like foiled insulation junk. How nice to be shown such Disrespect, not once but Twice over !!! I will try to post the trash they left wherever I find to post this review. Both John and Kevin were friendly and hospitable but definitely remind me of the waitress that smiles at you while looking at you and then cusses you and flips you off behind your back. Although they probably did their job exactly as they were supposed to do, It is a very poor procedure and not worth the money they charge at all. Unfortunately, If you are dying from the air from your dirty vents, you need to do whatever you can, even if it is half ass. It's better than nothing. Basic Cleaning: They hooked up a machine to one vent. They said that this was the basic cleaning and this sucked for 25 minutes and supposedly was to pull all junk from all the vents in the home. I had ten vent's total. It was a very minimal force of air. I was most surprised. Later of course we saw just how ineffective that cleaning was as just one room over where I sleep, a whole cloud of dust and junk dispersed throughout my room. They had put two pieces of plastic down. One on the bed and one on part of the floor. None over my dresser or long table or anything else. Needless to say, I had to do a very detailed cleaning job once they left. I had to: Lint roll the bed, duct everything with lysol wipes, vacuum the floor and set everything back up again. I should send them a cleaning bill myself for the big mess they caused through their bad system. They should have hooked that Machine up to each vent, atleast to the one in my room that I paid extra for the so-called Deep cleaning service. Had they used the machine in their first, it probably would have sucked up all the junk that they allowed to have fall down all over my room! I told them this, and he said you may be right. Deep Cleaning Service: I knew something like this was coming. So, he says. We do a deep cleaning if you want. He shows me a quick video clip he took of a vent showing the residue that was stuck to the side walls of the vent. So, he explains that it costs 89$ per vent and they attach a cord to a plastic type whipper thing that spins in circles as they use a deodorizer chemical. The cord is about eight feet long and they feed it as far as it will go. They spray the plastic whippers before sticking it up into the vent. Problem with this, is that the deodorizer just drains right off of the plastic whippers and there is no way that it has the potential to even do 90% of what they claim. Now, if those whippers were made of cloth, then they would absorb the chemical and hold onto it as it also wiped it in motion. That would have worked great and been more worth the money, however I feel I got totally jipped on the basic cleaning, and the so-called Deluxe cleaning. Or maybe if they shut the air off and then actually sprayed their chemical into the vents first and then used their tool. Again though, I feel that this part of the service was a complete fail as well. They did not even look at any of the other vents, let alone see if they could clean anything just within their reach. They did not even check the return filter. Now it's time to pay for a service that I feel was totally not worth what I paid at all, especially considering all the work I had to do myself afterwards because of their system's procedure. It took me just as long to clean my room back to normal as it did for them to do their job. Had they given some notice on the upsale, that it would cost 90$ per vent, well maybe people could do some planning instead of being caught off guard with a 1000$ upsale right off the bat. Most people in their target area can not afford to do a basic cleaning let alone a 1000$ ad on. SO I tell him I will pay with a credit card. He then asks if I can pay with a check. I said no. He says there will be a 3.75% fee of the total amount to use a card. I went on to explain that again, this was not mentioned anywhere or told to me at booking. RUN!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY FAST!!! Find anyone else but them. This company is terrible. We got a coupon ad in the mail. Decided to give them a try for chimney cleaning. Basic cleaning and inspection. Upon arrival 2 men showed up. Not very friendly. Honestly made me very uncomfortable. Then to be told it's going to be $300 instead of the amount discussed. They said I needed a deep cleaning. When I made the appointment no one explained the process or how pricing is done. It's apparently $300 for 4 sticks to clean my chimney. These sticks are reused every time. Not new. They said it's $50 a stick. If that's true it would've been $200. The guy argued with me and extremely rude. Made me extremely uncomfortable the whole time while they were in my home. I called the company to speak to someone. Someone answered and said they will have a manager call me back. They never called me back. They have yet to reach out to me. This company is horrible. More occurred during this visit but at this point I want to make sure people beware. Do not use Masters air duct cleaners. I just had the worst experience with this company I was basically robbed and the management was unprofessional and unresponsive. I've had them come out to my house before and had a positive experience but two days ago I had them come do a dryer vent clean they disregarded the $68 coupon I had then told me I needed to change the whole vent system/output clean and sanitize they quoted me $350 to which I agreed since the dryer has been giving me issues. But then after the job was "complete" and I payed turns out they didn't change it just cleared out the clog ad cut the wire cage that was on the vent outlet. Not the job I was quoted for I would have never agreed to pay $350 for that. When I spoke to management about not completing the job quoted they said they would get back to me never did but instead they had the technician call me he was extremely rude and abrasive. I called to use a coupon for a $75 cleaning, during scheduling the receptionist put me on hold to take another call. When the tech arrived I showed him around, showed him where the attic access was. After a while he comes back from the attic telling me there is mold in my air box. When I went to see, he had cut two large holes in the plenum (one supply side, one return side). First of all I never expected holes to be cut in anything, but now i'm also looking at needed a 'deep cleaning' because apparently the $75 (normally $200) cleaning is crap. I get a quote over text, $1600 for the cleaning and mold removal. Now I figure well crap, he's already got these damn holes cut might as well remove the mold. Few hours later he's done his thing. Couple days later I'm storing some stuff in attic so I decide to check out the work. What I find is the tape he's used to seal the giant holes is coming off (puffed out) and I have tons of cold air leaking out into the attic. Presumably I also have attic air leaking in now too. When I call to report the problem (I want someone else to come out to fix it) the same receptionist keeps cutting me off when I explain the issue. When she called back (not a manager, as she said would call) she actually put me on hold AGAIN, just to answer a call. Well SOMEONE is supposed to be here tomorrow to fix it, but I'm really skeptical about the quality of work that will be done. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Very disappointing. They claim to "clean" the ducts but they only vacuum from one vent. They do not brush out the ducts as is implied in the pictures on their website and advertisements. All of that would be extra, as a "deep cleaning," for significant extra money. Before connecting their vacuum to an upstairs vent, we were told the ducts were too dirty and needed "deep cleaning" and their vacuum would not do anything. They said they were not going to bother taking the vacuum up the stairs. We insisted they do what they were hired and paid to do. For the dryer vent "cleaning" this, too, was hooking a smaller shop vac up to the vent opening behind the dryer. We were told it was clogged and they had sucked out as much as they could, but a "deep cleaning" could be done for $200. Nope. I cleaned it out myself, easily, the following day with nothing more than a brush that they were supposed to have in the first place. If all you want is your ducts vacuumed as much as could be vacuumed from a single vent opening, then go for it. If you want your ducts cleaned, go elsewhere. As they were doing their work and suggesting that additional work was necessary, I asked that they send quotes for the additional work. Three weeks later. No quotes. Not at all shocking, but I wouldn't use them for any additional work anyway. read more

This place is such a scam. Unfortunately my mother didn't read the reviews on this place before she had them come out. This review is pretty much the same as all of the others. Guy comes out to clean the air ducts, hooks up the machine. While the machine is supposedly cleaning the air ducts, he says he is going to check out the system. And of course there is mold everywhere! He even had pictures on his phone to prove it! My mom tells him she'd like to get a second opinion. He says ok, goes outside. Comes back in and said he talked to his boss and that if he cleaned the mold right now, it would be cheaper that the $640 that he first quoted. Mom says no that she still wants a second opinion. So finally he leaves and through a neighbor we found an honest respected professional in the same business to come check things out. Low and behold, THERE WAS NO MOLD ANYWHERE! Shocking! I wish I had read the reviews ahead of time. They are a scam. I had them come out to clean the fireplace chimney. When I told him he would need plyers to take the cap off of the top, he said he would do that later, first he wanted to inspect the crown. When he came down with pictures, he said that the crown is cracked in many places and he could put on a sealant that is guaranteed for 15 years. Because of the holiday, he could give me a break and only charge $500. Then he came inside and put a duct cleaning brush with about 10 tines on it, 6ft up the chimney and said there is no creosote build-up, only dust. He said the chimney is fine and safe to use. When I looked at him puzzled, he said he could get an extension and go up the flue 15 feet for me. He didn't clean anything. He never removed the cap from the top to look down the chimney. From the fireplace you cannot see to the top as there is a 45 degree bend in the flue. Total scam, they charge you $61 to come out and try to upsell you on a crown sealant. read more

So, I like many apparently, made an appt. based on the coupon I got in the mail. I want to clearly state that I never got the service, so can't review it, just my experience trying to get service. I specifically made it for 2 weeks out. I got a text confirmation days later for 1 week earlier than I had scheduled. I replied to text that I needed to reschedule. No response. It was hard to locate their number and I tossed the coupon. Several call attempts to out of state numbers with unoperable voice-mails later, it dawned on me to look on Yelp. Whoa, the reviews. So I sent a cancel appointment reply. Still nothing. After calling the numbers (2 different ones on this page), the number goes to a company called All Marble Tiles... The call was answered by the same person that I originally spoke to. When I asked to cancel she stated that I had first texted to reschedule, but now I want to cancel?
