Highly recommended. Greens, healthy, and super friendly. Probably one of the best in town.

If you're in Kahului and haven't checked out Tambayan Corner, you're seriously missing out. This…read morefood truck park is a gem -- a welcoming hangout spot with incredible food, chill island vibes, and a strong sense of community. The variety of food trucks here is amazing, but what really stands out is the Filipino and local-style cuisine, boba drinks, and poi mochi balls!!! The setup is super laid-back with plenty of seating, colorful decor, and often some good music playing in the background. It's family-friendly, great for groups, and even better if you just want to kick back, eat good food, and soak up the Maui vibes. Service is friendly, and everyone we met -- from the vendors to other diners -- made us feel right at home. You can tell this place is built around community, culture, and comfort food. Definitely adding Tambayan Corner to my list of food spots.

The food truck lot has grown a lot recently, expanding into the adjacent lot with more space for trucks and more better parking (huge win). They have a cute little setup with a covered area for eating, plenty of tables, and even events happening from time to time. I think you can rent the space out too if you're planning your own event. Some of my favorite trucks here are Da Soriano Grindz for their calamansi pork belly plate (seriously hits every time), Aloha Pho Maui when I'm in the mood for Vietnamese, and Street Market Boba--because no visit is complete without a dessert and a good boba fix. I love that you can come with friends or family, and everyone can find something totally different to enjoy. From Filipino to Vietnamese to Mexican and more, the variety makes it an easy pick. Whether you're just grabbing lunch or hanging out for a bit, Da Tambayan is definitely worth checking out.
