We have been going to the Burney's location in Southport for years when at the beach. Randomly while on a business trip I found this location and had to stop in to see if the quality was the same, no disappointment. Haven't tried all of their options, but I must say that a glazed croissant with sweet fillings is absolutely hard to beat. To those about the nosh, I salute you!

This morning I made the hour drive because my daughter loved the chocolate buttercream ones so much. I ordered two dozen so we could share with friends and I ordered online. There is a place to type your order (no dropdown for their flavors) and I was careful to type it myself. I paid for these online, but when I arrived to pick them up I added two more items, so a rather expensive bakery purchase over all. When I opened the box, I found chocolate filled instead of chocolate buttercream. I told the women that this is not what I ordered and I would like to switch them. The woman who was in charge asked to see my receipt and it said chocolate on the receipt. I told her that was not what I ordered or wanted. She said "well that's what it says on the receipt." And then she said "we can give you buttercream but you will have to pay for it." So obviously they had the chocolate buttercream and could have simply switched them out. I told them this was very poor customer service and a poor way to run a business. Especially for someone with a large order driving there from out of town. No one had touched the croissants. Unfortunately this was not the only bad interaction with this store. My first interaction with this establishment was when the nurses in my office ordered the filled croissants. I had never tried them at that point. We ordered a dozen each, submitted online in 4 separate orders. When the woman from our office who lives closest went to pick them up, they had packed them 24 to a box and refused to separate the orders. They made her PAY for the extra boxes and stand there and re-package them herself. If each of us had walked in and ordered a dozen, the boxes would have been free. They have tasty sweets but you can't be this rude and run a business. They have lost many customers today.

The cookie dough one was delicious! The other one not so much, I didn't taste any peanut butter cups and the chocolate wasn't very chocolatey at all, I would not order that one again. Also I thought the price was kind of high, over $6 for two small scoops.

Upon entering it's very clean, spacious and welcoming. The service was quick and staff were friendly. I had a free reward for signing up and opted for the sweet potato pecan cobbler, purchased one original peach cobbler and an Oreo puddin' Shake. First things first, all the cobblers come with vanilla ice cream. The original wasn't anything special, it's your average peach cobbler. I prefer more cobbler to anything. The sweet potato pecan cobbler was not good to me at all. The sweet potatoes were too chunky for my liking and were hard. My son ordered the Oreo puddin' shake which was another disappointment. He didn't like it and when I tasted it, all I could taste was whip cream. It was like a cup of whipped cream. It had Oreo crumbles on top but, not pudding consistency or Oreos throughout, it was like drinking a cup of whipped cream. Overall, I was able to say I've finally tried PCF but more than likely, I will not be going back to any of them.

Our server was super friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I only got a small since I had just eaten, but it was the perfect size to satisfy my sweet tooth. I could see how they might run into some delays if it gets busy, as there was only one person working and the group behind us had to wait a bit while she finished helping the three of us. That said, by the time we made our decisions and got in line, it was our turn, so it worked out. The shop was quiet with no background music, which made it feel a bit calm and low-key. A great first experience overall. I'd definitely go back to try other flavors.
