My massage therapist, Angelo, was professional, attentive, and very skilled. He took the time to listen to my concerns and focused on the areas where I was carrying the most tension (which was all over). The pressure was perfect, and I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and completely relaxed. Not only did Angelo help relieve my stress and muscle tension, but he also left me feeling energized and renewed. This was one of the best massages I've had, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality care and a truly relaxing experience. I can't wait until my next visit!

With out doubt the best massage I have ever received! I live in Downers Grove and just happened to…read morecome across Restorative Massage Therapy by chance. Was I ever lucky! I was getting a haircut and realized that they had built out space for a masseuse. After inquiring, the prices seemed very reasonable, so I figured what the heck. The massage therapist did not happen to be in that day so I called and left a message. My call was returned immediately by Jennifer the owner and I scheduled my appointment for the following week. A little background on myself... I'm what I would consider a pretty active person. Former collegiate athlete and continue to workout regularly. My main hobby, one that I picked up a few years back, is golf. After a few rounds I can get pretty tight especially in my lower back. I was asked all of this when we spoke on the phone and again just before the appointment. I have to say this made me feel very comfortable that someone was listening to my needs. She was sure to tell me to arrive 15 minutes early so we can address everything again. When I finally met Jennifer she was extremely caring and very professional. The space made me feel relaxed. There were nice colors in the room, beautifully decorated and soothing music in the background. I was offered something to drink as we went over my chart. We talked about my problem areas and she left me to get ready. I have to say that one of the best things about this whole experience was that it was an actual 1 HOUR MASSAGE and not 10 minutes of fluff. The time that she took beforehand was her personal time not deducted off of my time which was much appreciated. I can't tell you how many times I have felt shortchanged in that sense. During the massage I was sooooooo relaxed. I have no clue what she was doing, but it felt amazing! Head to toe with extra attention paid to my problem areas. I was put into some euphoric state and quite possibly could have dozed off, but I'm not sure. An hour later it was time for me to get dressed. I can remember having this grin on my face. Everything felt so loose and relaxed. Like there were no problems in the world. As I was leaving I felt as if I was walking on clouds and I know you'll have the same experience. I've been back 3 times since and will be back more. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

They, then, took me back and the room was FREEZING. I said this to the lady before she walked out, but again, she didn't speak much English. They only provided me with a thin sheet. A different lady ended up my therapist and sadly it gets worse. She, also, didn't speak any english and proceeded to start the "massage". After 5 minutes of her barely touch me I asked her to go deeper to which she couldn't understand and we went back and forth until she found a word that worked. I kept saying I was cold and asking for another sheet or blanket but, again, she couldn't understand me. Finally she put a small towel on me that barely covered 1/5 of me. If all of this wasn't terrible enough, she started wiping me down with a luke warm wet towel after each section when I was already so cold. Needless to say, for a $103 massage I expected a heck of a lot more. Waste of money to not even feel like I had any massage pressure. Live and learn.
