Me and my friend wanted a place close by the hotel that had an opening right away. This place fit…read morethe bill. I'm torn on how I should rate this place as there were some pros and cons. Pros - They can take you right away They provide deep tissue and if this is what you're looking for, they do take out the knots. Staff are friendly. Masseuse was firm with her kneading and frequently asked if I was okay with the pressure. Cons - Pay before you get serviced. This is not an option. If your masseuse is also the receptionist, she has to stop to answer the door. You can hear the people coming in because they have to ring the bell for the staff to open the door and then you can hear their conversations. When you lay down, the towel is hard to manipulate to fully cover yourself when you lie down. It's not big enough!!! What happened to having a sheet?! My whole backside was fully exposed...thankfully I had a female therapist. Vibe was very hole in the wall and prices were surprisingly higher than I anticipated. Close to what I pay back home! Final decision- I'll give this place a 2.5 stars. I liked that she took out the knots but wasn't thrilled with the rest of the experience for the price point.

I visited and after having a pleasant first experience, I received an offer to purchase a package. I did so. With one remaining, I received a message asking me to book the last one soon. Options were limited so I selected what was available. A day or so later, I had death in the family so I canceled. The appointment was canceled four days in advance. I received a reply asking me if a week later at the same time would work. I indicated it wouldn't and that I'd contact her at a later time to reschedule. Agnes replied with. "Make sure you schedule asap. I'll get busy during the holiday season and will not be accepting the package next year". When it was purchased, an expiration was not mentioned or provided at any time. Upon hearing this, I pointed out that no timeframe was given and it appeared to be offered as a way to retain new clients. I also explained that this arbitrary decision was self serving and sent at a very difficult time for me. I went to explain I was dealing with death in the family and asked Agnes to put me down for ANY time between Dec 26-31 and I'd be there. Or, given the exchange. I offered to have her refund me via the method used (Zelle). To be clear, Agnes did NOT schedule me as requested and she did NOT return the money. In response to the comment below:: I told her I couldn't talk much more due to grief and she continued to send long paragraphs as if it was a lovers quarrel. I reminded her of her repeated pleas for "good" reviews and stated that this misleading and self serving practice is something others should be aware of. It's how others make informed decisions. I waited to see if she'd do the right thing and she didn't. ... I contacted her with my Zelle info on 5/21/2024.
