Let me start by saying I have never written a Yelp review, but I felt that it was necessary to bring attention to the best massage therapist I have ever encountered. Thank you Cindy for providing the best massage I have ever received! Cindy started our session by asking questions about my problem areas and areas I'd like to focus on. I really appreciated how thorough she was to make sure that the massage was customized towards my specific needs, rather than giving me a generic massage. Different body types require different techniques! I also appreciated that she was able to adapt to my different levels of pressure that best suited my needs. Very attentive and thoughtful! I can handle more pressure on my back/shoulders but not as much on my legs. She was very accommodating and made sure that I had a great experience from start to finish. Not only was she able to provide me an amazing massage, but she also suggested different techniques and postures to help relieve stress on my back. I've received my fair share of massages, and Cindy is undoubtedly the best. It is evident that she is truly passionate about wellness and therapy for others. I currently live in Los Angeles but I would love to visit Cindy again anytime I am in Chicago. Well worth the drive from the city and every single penny! I also love the decor in her space. It was very clean and relaxing. The lobby has a cute space as well and the front desk lady was very nice! Free parking is definitely a plus and there's so many spots to park! She's located on the first floor too so no need to walk the stairs after the massage when you feel like you're walking on cloud 9. All I can say is WOW! I highly recommend Cindy's Massage. I would honestly give 6 stars if I could! read more

About me: I work on a 9-5 sit-down computer's job and I go boxing 3x/week. Therefore, my shoulders and neck gets very tight and I'd constantly have to crack them. It was hurting really bad that I need a massage ASAP. Massage: I told Cindy where my body aches/hurts the most before she begin to massage me. She focused on my upper body and neck. During the massage, I can feel how her magical hands are doing wonders in my back. I like the lotion and scent that she uses, not too strong or fragrant. After a week: I am not able to crack my neck and shoulder anymore (that's a good sign). Most importantly, I am not feeling sore and my shoulder and neck isn't tight even though I went boxing/kickboxing 5x this past week. I'd highly recommend her. :) read more

Cindy is very professional and her place is super relaxing. I decided to treat myself for Mother's Day and Cindy took great care of me. The pressure was perfect and I left feeling like weight was lifted off my shoulders. I typically don't like spending much but Cindy's is worth every dollar! I'm so glad I found an amazing massage therapist and EVERYONE should know how great this masseuse is! Also, parking is convenient! She's on the first floor so no need to climb stairs. Just received the best massage of my life from Cindy. Everything from start to finish was great. Her studio is tastefully decorated, making for a relaxing setting to get an A1 massage. The 90 minute massage and stretch is well worth it. Cindy was extremely thorough and left me feeling so relaxed and loose that I took the rest of the day off from work. Wowwwwwww read more

This review may be a little long, but stick with it. I made a 90 minute appointment for a deep tissue massage. When I arrived, I told Cindy my issues; my lower back was very tight and and my trap/neck also very tight. I also told Cindy that I could handle whatever she was able to throw at me (bad idea on my part). Once the massage started, I realized that this was less of a massage and more of an exorcism. About 40 minutes in, I am certain that Satan himself departed from my backside. Whatever Cindy was doing, Beelzebub wanted nothing to do with it. When the massage was over, I did nothing but lay there. I felt as if I was dropped from a airplane and bounced along a mountain-side before impacting the ground. I was beat to hell - and that is exactly what I wanted. Two hours after my massage, I could do nothing but lay in bed. The post-massage soreness & malaise attributed by a REAL deep tissue massage was upon me. This morning I woke up and felt like I had the flu (headache, body aches). My body is in total shock - again, exactly what I wanted. My muscles are in shock, I am standing taller, my joints looser, and my tight muscles less tight. If you lift heavy weights, if you are an athlete, if you don't do the things you are supposed to do like stretch, book your appointment with Cindy now. Cindy knows her stuff! I will be booking my two-week follow up appointment as soon as I am done with this review. read more

Love love love Cindy!! Great massage, super convenient booking and location, couldn't ask for more!! Thanks Cindy, see you again soon!

I have both upper and lower back and hip issues and Cindy has given consistently therapeutic massages that not only relax me, but feel like she's helping pull me back into place. The service is awesome, the atmosphere is lovely (it's warm, there's ambient lighting, smells nice, etc), and Cindy know just which pressure points to go after. World-class! read more

Cindy is incredible! I get a lot of massages, and this was far and away one of the absolute best. I asked for deep tissue and, wow, did I get deep tissue. I actually had to ask her to ease up once or twice, which was a first for me. Cindy talks through what you want first, and then seriously delivers. The stretching at the end was great, too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great massage. read more

I have chronically tight shoulders with muscle knots that feel like rocks that most likely all came from bad posture and stress from school throughout the years. I like to get a massage once in awhile to help relieve the tension. Through a friend's recommendation, I stumbled upon Cindy's place. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Cindy with a refreshing glass of water. I filled out the paperwork and was led to a room filled with candles and a nice scent of aroma. Room was clean and the massage table was heated (which I really appreciated!). She offered me a choice of scented or non-scented lotion to use on my body, which is great for those who prefer non-scented massage cream. Then she worked her magic, finding and breaking up all the knots in my shoulders and really focusing on all my problem areas. By the end of the session, it really felt like the world has been lifted off my shoulders. Cindy is great and she really has a technique to help relieve all the tension in the body so you feel energized afterwards. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her now! read more

I just had a FANTASTIC massage at Cindy's. I asked for a deep tissue massage, and she boy did she give me one. Not for the faint of heart - but she found kinks that no one else found and worked them out ruthlessly. But that's what needed to be done. Walked out 2" taller and much more flexible. Loved it so much I booked 2 more sessions with her. read more

Cindy is amazing! I have chronic pain and my body has always been tensed up so I decided to check out a massage therapist. A friend recommended me to check out Cindy and boom, I made an appointment. Cindy was very nice and welcoming when I first walked in. The studio is a small, cozy room lit with candles to help you relax. I filled out some papers and Cindy was very professional and mindful about what I wanted out of the massage therapy session. It was a really great first experience and I'm definitely coming back to her! I feel more calm and less tense walking out which means a good nights rest for me! I highly recommend booking an appointment with Cindy. Treat yourself! read more
