They were also very thorough at explaining they were going through construction due to expanding and at a new temporary location, to make sure I went to correct place. Drove for 25 minutes to this spa. The trip was completely worth it! The intake process did not take very long. The place is clean. The room was a very comfortable temperature, the air was fresh and music was good. I came in with pain in glutes and lower back and today I really feel like a different person! My massage therapist, Jessica, was very thorough. Listened well to my concerns, offered aromatherapy and different pressures based on my areas of concern. Today my pain is gone and I will be following Jessica's recommendations and will return next week! They have great member specials. Elements Massage has a cryptic cancellation policy. I created an account and made a reservation online the night before my appointment. The next morning, I realized I had a voicemail from Friday night from Elements saying a CC was required to hold the reservation. By the time I called them back the next morning, they had given my slot away. It's frustrating because you should have asked for a credit card when I booked online to hold the reservation if that's what is required. I joined the club $59 a month, for that you get an hour massage once a month. I don't get in that often. They let me take an hour and a half massage, out of my bank. I've been a member for some time now. I really did love getting my massages here they were always great. However lately I feel like the front end service has been rude and some attitude. First I schedule a massage online( i always have done this and I book with whom ever I can because my schedule varies.) I get voicemail while at work (on a holiday healthcare workers don't get Labor Day off) because I didn't call back before my appointment was canceled for the next day. I was so frustrated the manager never called me back and the gentleman on the phone didn't seem to care. He even asked if I just wanted to cancel my membership!!! Today a few months later I can finally book an appointment I call and ask for available times and said ok I'll call back. I called back and that same gentleman said " oh I don't have those times available" I went online and saw they did have those available and booked them. Over a year ago, I was in a terrible car accident. Since the accident, I have not been able to sleep an entire night (let alone sleep for more than an hour at a time) due to the pain. I discussed this with my massage therapist, Erika. Although I came in for a relaxation massage, she suggested a deep tissue massage. I had never done one before, and she warned me it would hurt for a few days. The massage was painful, but three days have passed. Yesterday is the first day since the accident that I was able to wake up completely pain free. I could not be happier. I went to physical therapy for nine months, and the only other suggestion by my doctor was surgery. I never thought pain relief would come from getting a massage. Thank you, seriously. You guys have no idea how much a full night of sleep means to me. I will recommend this place for the rest of my life. Thank you SO much Erika. Thinking maybe since they had just opened they were still getting things up and running I gave them a half hour before I called back. Was again put directly on hold for another five min (which on hold is a long time!) Finally someone came back and asked me what I was interested in. Today I was ill upon awakening at 7:30a and had to cancel my 11a scheduled massage via the salon's voice mail as they were closed. I received a voice mail from an Elements employee telling me that my account was being charged 35.00 for cancelling. I told them that I have been a loyal customer for a lengthy time and expected not to be charged for illness. They refused to return the 35.00 and so I terminated my business with them. I was disappointed to be hearing the therapist and client in the room next to me, the staff conversations in the hallways, and what seemed like a microwave or something of sorts on the other side of the room as well. They asked specifics about what type of massage I preferred, and matched me up with people known to do a little deeper of a massage. My first massage here was with Connie. She was very pleasant, professional, and did an excellent job at getting deep into very tight areas of my neck and shoulders. I felt GREAT after I left. My second massage was with Carl, and I'd almost define him as a "doctor" of massage. He was very professional, and seemed very perceptive to finding specific tightened muscles deep within my back, shoulders, back of my head, neck, and even front of my neck.
