I said why did I pay $70, and both ladies looked at each other and said yea like they played dumb. I said where on this menu shows $70 each? They couldn't answer me. A server that takes your order and delivers your food and collects the bill might spend a total of 5 minutes with you during your 60 minute dining experience. Personal services like massage therapy however shouldn't be judged on the same spectrum. These highly trained individuals have to a minimum of 500 hours of schooling in order to receive their CMT. They spend the entire time paid for working on your body and providing 1 on 1 personal care. Additionally, many of these workers are 1099 contractors and only get paid when work is available to them. Subsequently, many of these workers rely heavily on their gratuities to live. The way I personally feel when I get personal services like a massage, haircut, manicure etc., I provide at least a prorated gratuity of $25 to $40 for each hour in addition to the house fee. If you can't afford this going in, then maybe you shouldn't be "treating" yourself to luxury personal services. Just my $.02

They start the clock the moment your feet go into the foot bath which uses up 5 minutes or so. The foot massage itself was quite good. Good pressure, very relaxing. And I like they have the chairs that are slightly more upright instead of lay flat. Easier on my back. There was no music. Just silence. That's new and unusual to me. I need a lot lighter touch massage than my boyfriend but this second one was terrible. There was no technique used at all, she basically just rubbed me with oil the whole time. For the first time in my life I had to ask them to go harder. She did then, for like 10 seconds, but went back to the light touch. I was so frustrated laying there in the bed. I actually just wanted it to be over. They were nice and so was the front desk but this was a 100% waste of money. My dog could probably massage better than them.
