A server that takes your order and delivers your food and collects the bill might spend a total of 5 minutes with you during your 60 minute dining experience. Personal services like massage therapy however shouldn't be judged on the same spectrum. These highly trained individuals have to a minimum of 500 hours of schooling in order to receive their CMT. They spend the entire time paid for working on your body and providing 1 on 1 personal care. Additionally, many of these workers are 1099 contractors and only get paid when work is available to them. Subsequently, many of these workers rely heavily on their gratuities to live. The way I personally feel when I get personal services like a massage, haircut, manicure etc., I provide at least a prorated gratuity of $25 to $40 for each hour in addition to the house fee. If you can't afford this going in, then maybe you shouldn't be "treating" yourself to luxury personal services. Just my $.02

No waiting in a Saturday afternoon and I was a walk in with my wife. Few things to note: It's a little pricey at $40 (cash price) for - mere thirty minutes. They start the clock the moment your feet go into the foot bath which uses up 5 minutes or so. The foot massage itself was quite good. Good pressure, very relaxing. And I like they have the chairs that are slightly more upright instead of lay flat. Easier on my back. There was no music. Just silence. That's new and unusual to me. Although she always asks me what areas need special attention if I forget, she can always find it and get in there and break up my knots or put me to sleep. The ambiance is great and the room smells amazing. She uses cupping if necessary, an amazing heating pad, and all sorts of devices to get you feeling great. Some people like relaxing massages and I like deep tissue massage but whatever your preference she's fantastic. My friend with Parkinson's really lives his Norma Jean Massage to give his body tremors a break. I cannot recommend her enough!!
