Came for a couples massage and called on the way noticing I was running 10 behind. They said to still come. Get there and they are very obviously annoyed. I apologized again and again. Go to our room and not much is said. We get ready and decide to use the restroom before the hour plus massage. Throw on the robe in the room, and the the masseur literally yells at me. WHAT ARE YOU DOING THOSE ARENT FOR YOU! I was so confused. Any massage I have ever gone to has the robes in there for you. Moving on, during the massage there wasn't much technique and she walked out of the room at least 3/4 times. Even my partner mentioned it after, that my lady kept leaving me in there. Wasn't ask what type of massage we wanted, if we wanted hot stones or any extras which we wouldn have added. At the end I paid and was waiting for my partner. I handed my lady $25 for part tip and told her the rest was coming from the other person, She handed it back to me and said "ok they paying more tip?" The whole situation was awkward and unpleasant. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by how immaculately clean and well appointed the space was. Everything looked brand new. This put me at ease. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was greeted quickly by a therapist, and also a lady who I believe was the owner. Both were friendly and warm. They showed me to a room. Their demeanor put me even more at ease. I really appreciated the calm dim lighting and the relaxing aroma throughout the entire space. Have I mentioned this place is relaxing? I haven't even commented on the massage yet. Amy gave me a wonderful, professional, and deep massage. I will see her again for sure. I just left this beautiful massage studio! My entire body feels rejuvenated after an hour deep tissue massage. I am a fitness fanatic and lift heavy weights and run. My body was all knotted up and sore from working out and I decided to get a massage close to home. I called today around 2pm and asked if I could be seen today at 5pm. Voila! Lily (I hope I got it right) responded and reserved the deep tissue massage for me the same day. It was a heavenly massage that was deeply needed. Lily massaged my scalp, face, neck, shoulders, back, hands, legs, calves, and feet. OMG!! Lily knows what she is doing and my body feels like it got a jump start in clearing out all the soreness. This was a mediocre massage at best. I'm pregnant and know that I have to be on my side and paid to get a full body 60 minute massage. Amy was my massage therapist, she had me laying on my left side and went immediately to my back. She stayed here for about 30 minutes without having me switch sides (the arm I was resting on ended up falling asleep and was uncomfortable). She has a nice touch but it felt more like I was having oil rubbed on me rather than getting a massage. She finally moved to my lower body and massaged/rubbed oil into my bottom leg (left leg). She did this for probably 10 minutes, then finally had me roll to my other side. She touched my back for maybe 2 minutes and then went to my now top leg (left leg again). She grabbed more oil and rubbed some into my bottom leg (right leg) but kept focusing on my left leg. At this point I was facing the clock and noticed that there was 10 minutes left. There was no massage technique, it felt like she was just waiting out the last few minutes. At 5 minutes remaining, she left the room without a word and returned with a warm wet towel to wipe me off. After cleaning all the oil off, she began rubbing me with the blanket for the last few minutes which was very uncomfortable and began pinching my neck as if to get in deep, which hurt incredibly. I should have felt refreshed but am honestly disappointed and physically hurt more now than before the massage. I can barely turn my neck now. I wish I could get my money back because this was a waste. Next time I'll find an actual certified massage therapist who knows what they are doing. read more

This must be under new ownership. Not a relaxing atmosphere. My massage therapist walked out two times without saying a word upon exiting. She apologized both times when she finally came back in but the damage was already done. Just excuse yourself. Then she took a phone call in the room while her attention should be on me the paying customer. Last and final straw was the texting while trying to massage . WOW! My husband and I went in for a foot and body couples massage today. The entrance was comfortable and clean. The room was spacious, clean and very, very relaxing. I had some knots in my shoulders and she did a great job at getting them out. My husband was impressed and said he felt good as well. I am thankful that they worked around my tardiness and they were not at all irritated or annoyed. I've never had a massage before so I did not have any expectations. Studio one is beautifully designed, incredibly spotless, full of warmth, inviting, and undeniably relaxing. When you walk in you're immediately transported to zen and bliss. The staff are welcoming, professional, and friendly. The owner was helpful and kind. My masseuse was caring and skillful. Her name I believe is Fannie, I highly recommend her. Her skills in her craft was a piece of heaven on earth for me. I can keep going on and on.
