I felt this massage was definitely more customized to my needs. Monica really knew how to provide massage as a therapy. Hubby, who is more picky than me, agrees. After a minor surgery on his calf, it's been tight & painful. Yoki was able to alleviate the pain & he feels more relaxed now. No waiting in a Saturday afternoon and I was a walk in with my wife. Few things to note: It's a little pricey at $40 (cash price) for - mere thirty minutes. They start the clock the moment your feet go into the foot bath which uses up 5 minutes or so. The foot massage itself was quite good. Good pressure, very relaxing. And I like they have the chairs that are slightly more upright instead of lay flat. Easier on my back. There was no music. Just silence. That's new and unusual to me. So it's all about how much a value hunter you are.

Then apparently the masseuse my partner had was too light so they asked if it's okay to switch with me. Dear god. I need a lot lighter touch massage than my boyfriend but this second one was terrible. There was no technique used at all, she basically just rubbed me with oil the whole time. For the first time in my life I had to ask them to go harder. She did then, for like 10 seconds, but went back to the light touch. I was so frustrated laying there in the bed. I actually just wanted it to be over. They were nice and so was the front desk but this was a 100% waste of money. My dog could probably massage better than them.

I was a little nervous because I'd never had a massage from a male therapist before, but the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and reassured me that if I felt uncomfortable at any point, I could let her know. Thankfully, there was no need--Johnny was completely professional, got right to work, and gave me the best deep tissue massage I've had anywhere in the Tri-Valley. My one friend likes lots of pressure for her massages so when I booked one week before, I made sure to tell them I need one strong person. I reminded them before we started and I pointed to my friend and said she's the one that likes hard massages. Our one hour went by quickly. My masseuse gave me quite a firm massage, harder than I have ever had before. I thought this masseuse would have been exactly what my friend wanted. During our massage I could hear people coming in and requesting massages but they were full at the time so they were being asked to return at a different time, so reservations are recommended. My friend who wanted the firm massage actually got the opposite so I do believe they got us mixed up. She unfortunately received a mild massage. Our other friend had the gentleman I have had before (Mike) and she really enjoyed her hour. They do try to get you to upgrade to a combo body/foot massage but the three of us love their foot massages. It was a good experience though I was sore for a couple days after my massage. Did all the paperwork, answered all of the doctors questions, he moved me to a back room, had me lie on my back, told me what he was going to do, inserted needles in various parts of my body, now lie back and listen to the soothing music, I'll be back in 15-20 minutes, Dr. Vincent came back in 20 minutes and gave all the needles a twist, slight burning sensation, nothing painful, and he said he'd be back later, came back in, removed the needles, I was on my way, made another appointment, came back for the second appointment, told him how I felt, told me the same thing as the first appointment, we need to get your energy flowing, second treatment was the same as the first, this time the effect has lasted the week, I do have more energy and finally the world has stopped spinning, can't wait for my next appointment, so don't be afraid to try unconventional medicine / therapy , it has worked for me, thank you Dr
