They were able to accommodate me right away and the woman behind the desk was very friendly. They never took my name, never did any intake or had me fill out a form. The only reason they might now have my name is because I paid by credit card at the end. This is not how a professional place operates. No one ever told me my therapist's name so I don't know who worked on me. She worked within a routine and never really focused on anything for very long. I tried vocalizing mmmmm or saying "good" to let her know when something felt good but she didn't really stop and get into the tissue. The first part of the massage was compression through the sheet and when she finally applied oil it was too much to do connected deep tissue. I enjoyed the hot stones bc I never choose that option so it was a nice surprise. Some of her techniques felt good but it definitely wasn't the kind of bodywork I enjoy or needed.

I need a lot lighter touch massage than my boyfriend but this second one was terrible. There was no technique used at all, she basically just rubbed me with oil the whole time. For the first time in my life I had to ask them to go harder. She did then, for like 10 seconds, but went back to the light touch. I was so frustrated laying there in the bed. However, the last massage I had with Ronny was especially wonderful. I'd been struggling with shoulder pain for months, which I constantly thought was going to "get better any day now." It didn't. After one session with Ronny (though I was nervous for him to even massage near that area), my shoulder pain was gone and hasn't returned. It's as if I never had that shoulder pain for 6+ months!
