This quite possibly may be the best massage I ever had! Ava provided the perfect pressure for my White Elephant Combo Massage. I prefer a deep tissue due to athletic build and musculature, and we all know a good deep tissue hurts in the moment and you feel amazing the next day. Somehow the pressure was deep, but I still felt relaxed. The oil was a perfect blend of menthol to not make you too cold during the massage but the perfect tingle for maximum muscle tension relief. I've become a regular here. Sometimes I feel like an aggressive massage so I get a traditional Thai or if I want something a little more relaxing I go for the Swedish massage. Every type of massage I've gotten here has been really well done and has helped loosen up all of my knots. I feel so much better the next day . The staff are great. The place is clean and organized and very comfortable with cute decor. I highly recommend! Plan well and make a reservation. They do book up pretty quickly. read more

White Elephant Thai massage is located in downtown Pleasanton, next to Senro Sushi. It has a parking lot which is shared with other businesses. It can get busy during the weekends, but there's also plenty of street parking. The booking is fairly easy with their online system. Most of the time, I just book the day before and there's usually plenty of appointments available. I've been here for a few times already and it's all been excellent experiences! My problem area is my shoulders and my masseuse always manages to loosen up the knots. The place is very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend visiting! read more

Edit: We didn't change anything. The receptionist got it wrong and didn't listen to us and gave us the wrong massages. Then trying to gaslight us and blame us for their mistake instead of owning up to it. Would not recommend for the unprofessionalism Original: Front desk receptionist didn't listen! I had booked my massage with my husband a week and a half in advance for a couples massage. When we get there they put us in separate rooms. I had the aromatherapy massage and head, while my husband has just the Thai massage. First, my masseuse was 10 minutes late, so I had to cut off the head massage. 12 minutes into my massage. I asked her if she was doing the right massage and she told me she was doing the combo, but I had asked for the aromatherapy. I switched to the aromatherapy massage, but she didn't even do the whole hour. My husband was getting the aromatherapy massage but should have been getting the Thai massage. Then the front desk person tried to say we told her the wrong things when it was their person that had them do wrong things Poor customer service and massage experience! read more

Best massage I've had in a long time. Top 3 for sure! I've never experienced a Thai massage and was surprised at how good it went. I saw the bars on the ceiling and thought I've always wanted to see how this would go. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a combination of the most relaxing, deep tissue, stretch, I've ever had. That's an oxy moron. Relaxing because of course I fell asleep. Deep tissue because it was a human foam roller and I wanted to tap but knew how good it was going to be for me. And stretched like I've never been stretched. Such a perfect combo. Also the atmosphere was super cute and aesthetic. You thought you were walking into an office but it was totally zen. The decor was peaceful and the feeling was joy and relaxation. I can't wait to go back. You won't be disappointed! My massage therapist's name is Yuki or Yuri I think. I had booked a couples massage here about 2 weeks ago and I had a good time. This was the first massage I've ever booked and using the website to book was real easy. I was a bit worried I would be extremely ticklish during the massage but to my surprise I wasn't. The staff are really nice and walking into the building it is very clean and really quiet. Definitely a place you can relax at whilst getting a massage. We were offered water prior to heading into the room, and the room itself was clean, and I felt really comfortable. The massage therapists were really good also. I've never had a Thai massage but I have seen some on YouTube and if you wanted a traditional one they do all the stretching towards the end which was very interesting but I feel was very necessary! The therapists made sure I was comfortable, and asked if they needed to apply more pressure or less pressure etc. Ill also add this was also my girlfriends first massage and she had a very enjoyable time too. Definitely going to come back! Tip: check or call for any specials they have! read more

I came in here for a 60min deep tissue massage. Loved the ambience and the place was very clean with a calming aura. I saw Chloe and she was really good, covering all areas well given the time. Given how "knotty" I was, I just felt adding a bit more focus on knot removal would have made the service exceptional. I am a fan of Siam Thai in Walnut Creek, but it isn't convenient to get to. Found White Elephant and had an amazing massage by Layla. I do not like to share certain personal things with people I do not know. I tried to be short in my answers in hopes he would figure out that I didn't want to talk, but nope it kept coming. And it is hard to talk with those covers they have on the pillow you rest your face on. The overall massage was okay. I didn't care for it .i think I would've had a better massage at Massage Envy. The mobility movements were good. But I didn't leave feeling like wow I feel so good and relaxed...that's how I felt when I left the Palo Alto spot, so I guess the hunt for a local spot continues.

Massage itself was good and felt customized to my preference. There was not a lot of fingers used, mostly arm and elbow and pressure. The long heavy strokes felt nice. The music playing was low and a sounded like a scratched CD but it didn't bother me much. No frills massage. The sheet was a bit thin, my lady parts were probably showing somewhat, and it felt slightly cold when it was off. Overall I enjoyed the massage and would be back.

Small 2-3 rooms clean pleasant aroma My massage therapist was Suqi she has an excellent touch. My BF had Joie as his massage therapist he said she was great as well.

I was so happy she values her customer's needs. When I mentioned I had a gift card, she made sure it was something she honored before she made any promises(which I really appreciated). As I entered the small waiting area, I noticed a change in the decor, it was simple & welcoming. What was also nice was the prompt & professional service of having me in the room at 11:30am & not waiting. My masseur was Jimmy, he had a gentle yet effective technique. I didn't realize how tight & tense my shoulders were until he worked on my joints & muscles. Jimmy also listened when my right shoulder was more sensitive, he took a quick break from working on that side but then tried a different technique to get that knot out. I couldn't be happier but realized I need more massages so I booked another appt. w/Jimmy. Thanks Amador Spa for realizing self care is so important & for helping me release the tension on my shoulders.

Massage was great, and it was very relaxing. The part that turned me off was when it came to pay they didn't appreciate my tip which was 14 % and insisted I pay 17% tip as listed on their tip suggestion list that they have printed on a wall. It became a bit awkward and we did pay the suggested amount but don't think I would return based on that.
