I've become a regular here. Sometimes I feel like an aggressive massage so I get a traditional Thai or if I want something a little more relaxing I go for the Swedish massage. Every type of massage I've gotten here has been really well done and has helped loosen up all of my knots. I feel so much better the next day . The staff are great. The place is clean and organized and very comfortable with cute decor. I highly recommend! Plan well and make a reservation. They do book up pretty quickly. read more

This quite possibly may be the best massage I ever had! Ava provided the perfect pressure for my White Elephant Combo Massage. I prefer a deep tissue due to athletic build and musculature, and we all know a good deep tissue hurts in the moment and you feel amazing the next day. Somehow the pressure was deep, but I still felt relaxed. The oil was a perfect blend of menthol to not make you too cold during the massage but the perfect tingle for maximum muscle tension relief. Wonderful. I booked a 90-minute Thai massage with Chloe, and it was everything I hoped for. Chloe's work is outstanding. She is fully present, tuned in, and paying attention to body of the client. She asked what level of pressure I wanted and said to let her know at any time if it was too much or too little. The pressure was ideal. The stretches were perfect: slow, mindful, careful, specific, and expertly executed. I felt like I was in excellent and compassionate hands at all times. I absolutely plan to book with Chloe again next time I'm in town. Note that cash or Venmo is requested for gratuity (and a gratuity is well-earned). White Elephant Thai massage is located in downtown Pleasanton, next to Senro Sushi. It has a parking lot which is shared with other businesses. It can get busy during the weekends, but there's also plenty of street parking. The booking is fairly easy with their online system. Most of the time, I just book the day before and there's usually plenty of appointments available. I've been here for a few times already and it's all been excellent experiences! My problem area is my shoulders and my masseuse always manages to loosen up the knots. The place is very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend visiting! read more

Edit: We didn't change anything. The receptionist got it wrong and didn't listen to us and gave us the wrong massages. Then trying to gaslight us and blame us for their mistake instead of owning up to it. Would not recommend for the unprofessionalism Original: Front desk receptionist didn't listen! I had booked my massage with my husband a week and a half in advance for a couples massage. When we get there they put us in separate rooms. I had the aromatherapy massage and head, while my husband has just the Thai massage. First, my masseuse was 10 minutes late, so I had to cut off the head massage. 12 minutes into my massage. I asked her if she was doing the right massage and she told me she was doing the combo, but I had asked for the aromatherapy. I switched to the aromatherapy massage, but she didn't even do the whole hour. My husband was getting the aromatherapy massage but should have been getting the Thai massage. Then the front desk person tried to say we told her the wrong things when it was their person that had them do wrong things Poor customer service and massage experience! read more

Best massage I've had in a long time. Top 3 for sure! I've never experienced a Thai massage and was surprised at how good it went. I saw the bars on the ceiling and thought I've always wanted to see how this would go. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a combination of the most relaxing, deep tissue, stretch, I've ever had. That's an oxy moron. Relaxing because of course I fell asleep. Deep tissue because it was a human foam roller and I wanted to tap but knew how good it was going to be for me. And stretched like I've never been stretched. Such a perfect combo. Also the atmosphere was super cute and aesthetic. You thought you were walking into an office but it was totally zen. I had booked a couples massage here about 2 weeks ago and I had a good time. This was the first massage I've ever booked and using the website to book was real easy. I was a bit worried I would be extremely ticklish during the massage but to my surprise I wasn't. The staff are really nice and walking into the building it is very clean and really quiet. Definitely a place you can relax at whilst getting a massage. We were offered water prior to heading into the room, and the room itself was clean, and I felt really comfortable. The massage therapists were really good also. I've never had a Thai massage but I have seen some on YouTube and if you wanted a traditional one they do all the stretching towards the end which was very interesting but I feel was very necessary! The therapists made sure I was comfortable, and asked if they needed to apply more pressure or less pressure etc. Ill also add this was also my girlfriends first massage and she had a very enjoyable time too. Definitely going to come back! Tip: check or call for any specials they have! read more

I am a fan of Siam Thai in Walnut Creek, but it isn't convenient to get to. Found White Elephant and had an amazing massage by Layla. I came in here for a 60min deep tissue massage. Loved the ambience and the place was very clean with a calming aura. I saw Chloe and she was really good, covering all areas well given the time. Given how "knotty" I was, I just felt adding a bit more focus on knot removal would have made the service exceptional. January 8th first time here I went in for a Thai massage and had a great experience from start to finish. The place was clean, calm, and welcoming, and the therapist who name was Suda very skilled and attentive to pressure. Here's my honest review of this spot after getting hundreds of massages in my life:…read more I'm very open minded, and very forgiving, and I actually prefer reflexology style spas over the high end luxury ones. My expectations reflect most standard reflexology spots, understanding they greatly differ than most American or European style, high end places. My boyfriend and I came for a couples massage, and were told to arrive around or after 7:15pm instead of our 7pm time, which was absolutely fine as we had no other plans. We arrived at 7:23, and were greeted by a kind woman in the front. Very standard, no repercussions on our end for being a few mins "behind". The spot is also located kind of tucked away in a plaza, so we spent a few minutes searching for it. Either way, this is something I would be more than happy to account for in something like less massage time. Anyway, our massage started, and one thing I can say I've never experienced out of my hundreds of massages were the beds. The massage beds had a VERY uncomfortable headrest, or lack thereof, with a stool chair placed right under where your head lays = zero air flow and lots of forehead pain. I actually left with a migraine due to the pressure on my forehead. I kept trying to adjust the entire massage, straining my neck into a strange position. I felt suffocated for 40 minutes or so until I finally was able to turn over. In no way is this the masseuse's fault, but wish they had different beds. My massage was okay, little pressure until the last 10 minutes or so, and very uneven. My experience with reflexology type massages is they will typically do ex. 10 strokes on one side, 10 on the other, etc. I just felt like my massage was random sweeping motions over my body. I also heard my boyfriend's masseuse leave the room twice, for a pretty long period of time. Mine left with his masseuse once (his was the third time she left) to grab warm towels, and we had no idea if the massage was over because they had left for a few minutes without saying anything. My boyfriend also stated feeling pretty exposed during his massage over others where he was draped appropriately. We also heard lots of loud cell phone conversations from other staff members in the hallway, and both of our masseuse's were having louder than whisper conversations during the entire hour session. The good things I can say about the place was that it was clean, the front desk (maybe owner?) was friendly and accommodating, and the last 10-15 minutes or so of my massage had nice pressure (head and neck) and I really liked my scalp massage. I was taken back when we were leaving, as we both had brought $15 each to tip (we had some more, but usually leave $15 as our base and add according to our service) - we were greeted by one masseuse that pointed to their gratuity menu and stated she expected $25 or more. For what we experienced, I did not feel that was fair. I genuinely do not want to belittle this establishment in any way, as I know they are new, but I do feel there is lots of room for improvement. In general, for $150 plus our $30 total tip ($180), it does not feel justifiable to return. Please come at your own research/discretion!
