How wonderful it is that I signed up at this location.. I never found a good massage therapist here. I decided to go to Gilbert Highland instead. I needed to stop my membership of a year and a half for a couple months so we could focus on paying some other things, everything went smooth. Here I am, 3 days later and my account is charged again after I asked for it to be locked. Called to see what is going on... I got the "our manager will call you" I though this might happen after reading some reviews with the same thing being said. *update* I got a call from them saying they refunded the payment and they apologized it happened. Not so bad. I've been pretty happy so far with them, so because they made me happy I changed from 1-3 stars. Will update if the payment is actually refunded. read more

On Friday I had a 90 minute massage session with Kevin. I have been having trouble with my left shoulder and asked him to focus on that area. He was absolutely amazing! He was able to diagnosis my problem and work on the area causing my issues. He was very knowledgeable and educated me on stretches that I need to focus on. He far exceed my expectation. So much so that I came back today, Sunday, for a stretching session with him before I leave back home to California. Once again an amazing session providing relief of my shoulder pain and weakness. Kevin thank you for the wonderful treatment and education you provided. You are truly AWESOME! read more

Got in immediately this morning for a 90 min massage after really hurting my back yesterday. I was so impressed by the therapist that I signed up for the monthly massages to continue getting some healing from her. It's great for me that they accept payments from HSA accounts as I'd rather use my medical funds towards something like this than an unnecessary visit to urgent care and spending hundreds of dollars just to get a prescription for some pain killers. read more

My therapist is the best, hands down. I have been to 10-20 different therapists and most are pretty good... push hard on the knots, move from back to arms, etc.. However, my current therapist very technical. She explains what she is doing and is very technical. You can tell she is very educated her craft. Also, the rest of the staff at this location is great and very friendly. read more

I was in Arizona visiting and wanted to get a massage but no appointments were available on the day I could go in. So instead, I made an appointment for a facial with Kimberlee. She was very friendly and offered me great advice to help with my acne. I ended buying a skin treatment for 30 days and have been seeing a few results. It was my very first facial and I am very happy that I chose Massage Envy. I will continue to be visiting them in California for my pending massage. read more

This spa is right next to my home, and I had been a couple times before throughout the years with a gift cards from my employer. I usually just went with whichever therapist was available and left without becoming a member. This summer I was assigned a massage with Omar, and that was it; I became a member that day. Omar is amazing at his job, and I always leave the appointment feeling super relaxed and happy. He has a great mix of firm but gentle pressure (I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to deep tissue massage), and he respects my boundaries (I have a thing about my feet being touched). I always request Omar, and even when he transferred to the new location at Gilbert Gateway, I followed him there. At both locations I have been able to call and speak to a friendly receptionist who helped me find the best appointment time. When I arrive, check-in is quick and most times I'm even anticipated and they know exactly who I am. I love that. I have become a massage junkie. It is my firm belief that massages have helped with my chronic pain and stress. It has also made all the difference finding a therapist like Omar. read more

Melissa is my favorite massage therapist I've had in a long time. She is very professional, walks you through the entire process, and is very respectful of your needs. The front desk staff is also very friendly and always makes sure to ask if we need anything before going into our appointment. Always feel so relaxed after my massages! read more

I went in for a massage and the therapist was very attentive to my needs. I love the calming environment and the great customer service from the front desk to the therapists. I would recommend the front desk associates to talk more about the new services and specials going on because I was not given much information about that until I got into the room. Being a member is such a great perk and I am never disappointed with the service from Massage Envy. read more

Alyssa is awesome! I think I actually fell asleep during my last massage!!!!! That had never happened to me before! She must have magic hands! I wi most definitely be back!! read more

Massage Envy - Massage Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

My boyfriend and I have been trying to get into a couples massage for some time now and because of my sporadic schedule, can only hope that massage studios accept walk-ins. This was the 4th Massage Envy that we tried to get into and they took us in right then and there! It was my boyfriends first massage and he felt so much better and totally felt comfortable. His therapist James, really listened and helped him. My therapist Alexis was amazing and really gave me what I needed, She listened and gave me the best relaxation massage I've had in a while. The front desk were funny and helpful and even gave me a discount on my wellness plan just for being an assistant manager. We'll definitely be back to this location even though it's a bit of a drive for me. read more

What nerve! Really.....totally ridiculous! How do you take money out of somebody's account that has tried to cancel for the last two months? Levi said he would cancel my account but didn't low and behold here comes another $65! But, wait it gets better they come back and want to give you a reduced rate if you continue your contact pass 12 months...No thanks the massage was great but not worth the money! Hopefully they get back with me soon so another payment is not taken out of my account without permission or a contract. read more

My wife bought me 6 months pre-paid massages at Massage Envy and I decided to use this particular location. 12 months on now I am a huge believer in massages improving quality of life! This location has some great staff and massage therpists. While not all therapists are equal, as is the case with any service business, I have yet to have a massage I didn't enjoy. After having a massage from 5 different therapists I have found the one I will stick with from here on out. read more

I am obsessed with Sage! She is the only therapist that I will wait for if she is already booked. She is really knowledgeable and always seems to know what kind of massage I need and where she would like to focus on. I always leave feeling refreshed and actually worked on not just rubbed on! She is seriously the best!! read more

I have to start by saying I did have a poor experience with my first massage at this location. I was, however, impressed with how they handled my issue so I gave it another shot. My girl Gloria has a client for life. Being 9 months pregnant, everything hurts and nothing seems to provide relief. Until today. She went to work and worked out the pain I was having in my hips and my shoulders. She is a gem and a wonderful therapist. Thank you Gloria, because of you I will finally get a good nights rest! read more

Love the new look. The front staff is always friendly! I've been a member for over a year and the therapists are a hit or miss. I've found a few and most of them no longer work there. I did have a massage yesterday from the therapist Austin that was absolutely amazing! The exact pressure I wanted and worked out the tightness and knots in my shoulder and neck. Very professional and let me relax during my massage. I can't stand when therapists want to talk the whole time. I just want to relax!! Go see Austin or Gloria if you want a great massage! read more

2/19/17 If I could give ZERO, I would. I went and signed up because my sister signed up and got a great deal at the one in Irvine, California. When I went to this one they were polite, but did not give me the "if you add on to your sisters account" discount, nor did they offer all the extra coupons my sister got. I get it, two different ME, your systems are awful. I had an appointment that I was planning on going to, but then my pug got exteremly ill and at 4am I called to cancel my appointment. I took my baby to the emergency vet and was told we have to make a decision. I'm sorry, but ME I was not going to enjoy my massage with you. But thank you for having the audacity to charge me $34 because "it's our policy". I have NEVER canceled an appointment before, never missed an appointment before, but what fabulous CS you have. I will not be going back to ME. They are a horrible company and have horrible policies. D.O.N.E 2/25/17 UPDATE: I emailed the address they gave me on Thursday, Feb 23rd, yes 3 days later, and this is the response I got that same day..... Thank you for taking the time to contact the Guest Relations team at Massage Envy Corporate. We know how important every member and guest is to each of the independently owned and operated franchised locations. We will carefully review your email and reply in the order it was received. Thank you again, and we look forward to assisting you. .......it's Saturday. I'm so happy their Customer Service is still a strong point! read more

Ruined the surprise for my wife's birthday.  When I called to make the reservation,  I specifically told Courtney that this was a surprise.  I asked that my wife not get the usual 'reminder call' and provided my phone number for contact. Well the plan did not work. They called her and ruined the surprise.  I planned a special day for this milestone birthday.  I pointed out the error when my wife was in for her massage.  No attempt was made to remedy the situation. Good thing they had nothing to do with  any other plans for the day.    I am still livid. You lost more than one customer.  There are plenty of paces to get a good massage, it is service that keeps customers. read more

I went here for a facial (received as a Christmas gift card). Everyone was pleasant, and my face did feel nice afterward, but I did not get the feeling that I was being treated by an expert. Maybe she just graduated from school. The front counter staff of course did the obligatory sales pitch to join as a member. I really don't like that. I understand they have to do it as part of the job, but a monthly membership is beyond my means and having to stay and listen to the pitch kind of made me wish I had received a gift card for somewhere else. read more

This was my second and last time here. The first time the massage therapist was late starting and early finishing. I timed my hour massage at 41 minutes. The massage was ok. This last time, the therapist was kind and very talkative but it was a HORRIBLE massage. I almost wanted to ask her to just stop. She just kept rubbing different area, especially those that I said hurt, but that was it-no technique, no plan, just rubbing. She also finished 9 minutes early, but I was happy since I hated it. I won't be back and I can't wait to cancel my membership in a few months. read more

I have never been so satisfied with a massage than I was today. This establishment is clean and the staff is super friendly. Jocelyn was my deep tissue masseuse and she was so nice and listened to my needs. She focused on my problem areas and made sure I was satisfied. She worked out my tightness, took care of a headache I had for 2 days, and rubbed out several knots from my back. I've had about 30 massages over the years and Jocelyn is definitely the best I've ever had. To bad I'm only visiting and not a native or I would be in here once a month. read more

I have been a loyal member of Massage Envy for the past three years and have been using this location. The staff is not always friendly nor efficient and I try to remember that some people have "bad" or off days. But it's been three years of "ugly" so, I'm stopping the membership and I'm walking away! My massage therapists have always been great! And I've never experienced a bad or painful massage. But losing appointments, rude comments, not finding appointments, and the unprofessional customer service is just too much and I must walk away! Far far away! The manager has always tried to appease me by comping my services but let's face it, it would only prolong the already damaged relationship and does nothing for training her staff to be more efficient and professional. Don't expect relaxation and serenity. read more

So i sighed up for there massage package and was told that they would not expire. To find out that they do and i payed $600 for the 2 that i had. This place is the biggest rip off ever and they lie to you to get what they want. I would recommend going somewhere else and getting your moneys worth than this place. All I can say is dont waste your time here, its a joke and they don't care about there customers. read more

Well...you get what you pay for. I made a reservation for a 60 min introductory massage, and ended up getting a 50 min massage (if that). Not happy. My friend and I did the yelp checkin for a free sugar foot scrub, but little did we know that the foot scrub would be in combination WITH the massage - not the added bonus we thought it was. All it did was take away from the massage time which was already less than advertised. Masseuse was sweet as could be, but painfully inexperienced. Movements were jerky and rough. Pressure was unbalanced. Not enough lotion/oil so felt like my skin was burning. Just bad. So bad. read more

I've had a good experience each time I've gone for a massage. Rosa was my therapist and she was very good. She understood what problem areas I had and worked out the kinks. I will go to her next month again for a relaxing time. read more

I love Miqui! She is the best therapist there. The front end staff isn't that great. I always check out before my massage so that I don't have to deal with them after. read more

I have to say, I wasn't a huge fan of this company from past experiences, but now I'm all for them. I've had two great experiences with them in the last month, and I'll continue going monthly for the foreseeable future. Great service! read more

Rosa is the best. If you are hurting, come in for a deep tissue massage. You won't be disappointed. She's the only one I will go to because when you find a great one.. Stick with them. read more

My mom and I had a massage here (my mom goes regularly, I was visiting from out of town) and the service and staff were lovely. My mom always goes to Antonia and I had a massage from Stephanie. They were both excellent! Antonia regularly addresses all the needs of my mom each time and that's important because she has the beginnings of arthritis. Antonia is personable and skilled! Stephanie was sweet, funny and hit all the major points that were stiff. Thanks, guys! read more

My massage therapist, Tricia, is extremely insightful. She not only gives a great massage, but she is very in tune to your energy and where/how your body is experiencing stress or pain. I've met very few therapists who can actually sense this. She is amazing! Massage Envy is designed for those who want to get a massage or facial and leave in an efficient manner. It is not a day spa. Expect friendly service at the front desk and find a therapist you like. Then stick with him/her! read more

Ask for Laura, hands down the best message that I have received. I had a 90 minute massage and walked out feeling like a king afterwards. If I could commit to a mostly massage, I'd sign up for a membership. read more

This is a great place for a massage. The fees are reasonable, the treatment rooms are clean, and the ambiance is relaxing. Both Jordan and Victoria are wonderful therapists especially if you prefer a more firm massage to work out all the knots in your muscles. read more

Had a full body, 60 min massage. Was late being taken back, my massage therapist was an older lady but real nice. She gave me a relaxing massage, nothing special or spectacular but nice. She did what she was asked of but I could tell there was a struggle, maybe pain. She also did go over a little on time to make up for being late. Which I appreciated. This trip was ok. Might be back. I usually go to a different location. read more

Lacey at the Massage Envy in Gilbert is awseome!

LOVE my monthly 90 minute session. Being an elementary teacher, I look forward to treat myself. Britney knows just how to get those hard knots to go away. I also like the promotional things. Just got stocking stuffers for my kids. Spoiled are we? read more
