I came here with my mom to treat ourselves to a spa day and will absolutely be coming back!! I got a 60min Swedish massage at the price of $70 which is a GREAT value, and my massage was phenomenal! I let her know about my shoulder and neck being knotted from working at a desk and also doing a lot of weightlifting. She really got in there and helped ease all of my shoulder tension and was great at communicating and making sure it wasn't too much pressure. I also let my masseuse know that I had an arm tattoo that is still healing (at 4 weeks post-tat, I still didn't want any oil or rubbing on it) and she was super accommodating to this request! Haven't been here before and getting ready for a surgery next week so got a two hour from Tiffany. She did such a good job, combining deep tissue and lymphatic flow massage. Used a lot of hot stones and was in tune to my tense muscles. It was a great experience and she made sure I was comfortable.Yes it's a pain to see a 30 or 40% tip that comes up on the screen, but the massage itself is so much cheaper. I think it's worth it. No doubt, my review is overdue, so today I will shine a spotlight on them for those who are interested. The personnel of masseuses are Tiffany, Anna, May, Winnie, Linda, and Jenny. All of them have had me as a client. Also, I always request only deep-tissue, two-hour massages. As for each of their strengths, they will always communicate with their clients. To put it another way, they genuinely care and aim to alleviate their clients' pain. The massage training they received, I assume, is tailored to meet the unique needs of their clientele. Finally, Serenity Massage of Chandler is exceptionally well-maintained. I have never entered without having been greeted by warm, friendly smiles; the same is true when my session concludes. The facility is incredibly clean, both inside and outside. For example, the rooms, bedding, towels, and restrooms are all well-maintained. Me and my boyfriend went for couples massage. He got deep tissue, I got Lomi Lomi. My boyfriend enjoyed his experience and felt relaxed after. My massage was good, but personally not my thing. I went to give a $20 tip but then she volun-told me to give a $30 dollar tip, pressing the buttons on the screen for me. Everything about this place is the reason I keep coming back even after moving farther, I will always make the trip because they are the most pain-reducing massages I've ever had. I have a very tense and stiff body with knots all over. My go to are May and Linda, I love that they are able to pinpoint my paint and tense areas with out me even having to say. Scheduling is easy which I can appreciate very much, I first tried them with a walk-in on my birthday and was so happy. rooms are clean and relaxing I could just go to sleep. My favorite are the deep tissues and hot stone mix, would highly recommend. I normally don't write reviews. They can be a little time consuming, but this review had to be told to prevent others from going through what I experienced today. I had a 2-hour massage with May. This was the second massage that I had with her in about 8-months. The first massage I had with her was last year. During that massage, she asked me if I wanted my back walked which I agreed to. It turned out to be an amazing massage, so much so that I gave her a $25.00 tip. I decided to book another 2-hour massage with Serenity this year, and without question, I asked for May. When I had my very first massage with May last year, I noticed that may had left the room once or twice, which is a cardinal sin for any Masseuse. She told me that they were understaffed, and she has to answer the phone. I didn't think much of it until I noticed the same pattern today. She never asked me if I wanted my back walked. She left the room 6 times. At one point, I even sat up on the table to wait for her. The last time she left the room I asked her what was going on and she told me one of her contractors just wanted to say hi. She was coughing and hacking all over me blaming it on her allergies. Her focus wasn't there, and the massage and service were awful. I blame myself for not putting on my clothes and leaving the third time she left the room, but I guess I was hoping things would get better. But they did not get better. An experience that was supposed to make me relaxed made me angry. But it gets even worse. I paid for the lousy service and even gave her a $10.00 tip. At which point, I was shocked when she literally lashed out at me saying, and I quote, "I spent 2-hours on your body, and this is all you are giving me." The nerve of her. First of all, a tip is a bonus for good service which I feel I did not receive. And for you to question that made me feel like you don't even like what you do for a living, and it clearly showed today. All I can tell you folks is, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! read more
