I let her know about my shoulder and neck being knotted from working at a desk and also doing a lot of weightlifting. She really got in there and helped ease all of my shoulder tension and was great at communicating and making sure it wasn't too much pressure. I also let my masseuse know that I had an arm tattoo that is still healing (at 4 weeks post-tat, I still didn't want any oil or rubbing on it) and she was super accommodating to this request! Super clean and relaxing energy. Everyone was very kind. As someone who is both regularly active and sits at a desk for work, I will be coming back here probably once a month for my health. I should have informed him it's not the pressure it's the excessive rubbing in the same spot. I got a noticeable bruise the next morning and a couple of dark spots that is light bruising. I did not feel the knots loosening, I did not feel any lighter. It's been almost 3 days and my back is tighter than it has ever been and hurts especially my shoulder blade area and neck where he kept rubbing. Idk what all the good reviews are about; both my sisters who also got massages with me said it was not great. I just had the worst experience out of my sisters. The bed was so uncomfortable we had to keep adjusting the placement of our head. I did not sleep a blink. $100 for a 90 minute idk what! If you're going to give this place a chance; plan for the courage to speak up and walk out without paying. This place deserves no stars!
