First and last timer. My POV- Overrated- huge language issues, could not explain what to massage etc. no ambience, rough massage(re-read it, I am not talking about intense, it's rough if you have any ortho/chiropractor issues then be careful) , not like a masseuse I would expect. 50 mins couple massage for $120+taxes +fee on credit card, plus forced $20 cash tip. Request to all those ppl who are making tipping for others challenging, don't do it as the expectation goes up, not everybody can pay up. We only tip if the service was outstanding, not because somebody humiliate you to pay. I felt my shoulders were massaged fine, but rest of the body - NOPE, not even close. My legs, arms everything was tired and not massaged than just circular motions and pats to get the time done. Poor ambience, no aroma oils, you smell bleached sheets and air inflated pillow in your face. I did not feel relaxed at all. Same with my husband. We looked at each other and shook our heads of never coming back. Lady was very rude to get the tip. She only sits there to collect money lol, I know I may sound like mean Karen, but plz understand that I am telling the truth. They kept exposing us with door open many times and the owner kept knocking on the door that time was almost up. Won't go back. Add $50 more and go to some luxury spa plz read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. My husband purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. From the beginning, communication was difficult due to the language barrier, but I tried to make the best of it. The pressure was much too intense, and although I attempted to ask for lighter pressure, I did not feel that my concerns were understood. What made me most uncomfortable was repeated contact with intimate areas during the massage. At one point, the therapist's hand entered my butt crack. I initially assumed it was an accident, but it happened again, at which point I physically moved her hand away and said no. Later, while working on my legs and glutes, I continued to feel uncomfortable with how close the contact was to private areas. The final straw was when the sheet was pulled up in a way that exposed my entire backside. At that point, I ended the massage early and left extremely upset. I cannot say whether any of this was intentional, but I can say that I felt uncomfortable, my boundaries were not respected, and I did not feel safe continuing the session. First I saw them on Groupon . So I called to asked if them would honor Groupon rates if I went directly through them? Thought I was being nice so they keep all the commissions. But instead on a date for couples massage they upsold us on $90 per person massages when it was supposed to be $60 per person and when I tried to ask them at the end why they no honoring what we discussed they demanded $40 tip . After I offer them $200 for $20 tip . The massage was not good for either of us . They were digging their nails into our necks it was just not relaxing and embarrassing at the end . Tips are not guaranteed !!!! Especially if you did a poor job and already upside me , refused honor the price and embarrassed me in front of my date . Worst experience ever !!!! Do not recommend these people worst massage reflexology experience of my life been to over 100 different places like this . This is by far last on the list for service . My man and I went in on a Saturday morning with a Groupon I purchased for his birthday, we went for a couples massage and it was the best massage. The best massage spa in town! The day started with my lower back hurting with a nagging pain. I went to Massage 40 Thai for the first time this week. The Massage Therapist recommended a Thai massage so I agreed to the 1 hour massage. It started with very relaxing pressure in the arches of my feet. Nice deep pressure with a steady slow motion. Next it continued with a series of stretching beginning in my legs, hips, back then shoulders and neck. This is when the relief began. The therapist used her knees to slowly roll the muscles in my calves and hamstrings. She regularly checked in to insure the pressure was good. Following the legs, she began an extremely slow walk on my back. Each tiny step finished with her toes slowly curling into the balls of her feet gripping the muscle groups in my back. Contracting and releasing step by step from the lower back into the shoulders. The massage was so good that the hour went by very fast. As I left the spa, I realized that I was walking upright with good posture without any pain. Simply AMAZING!!! This was an incredible bargain. I am accustomed to going to the Big Named massage spas and the cost for the massage was significantly less. I saw a couple of reviews mention that 10%-20% tips should be good. Having received many massages from many places, I have learned that an appropriate tip is between $20-$30 an hour. I hope that you enjoy your massage as much as I did. The place is dirty! I paid for a couples massage and they kept walking in and out on the phone and doing laundry. You could smell that the place was old with no TC. The one that completed my spouses massage was not even in the room half the time. The lady doing my massage was rough. I felt like professionalism was lacking and lacked! Then they have the nerve to be bossy about what I should tip. Please take it up with the Owners if they do not compensate you and DON'T take it out on paying customers. Never ever again. This place is the worst massage place I have ever been. The two ladies that run the business are rude, loud, and prejudiced. I should have known the place would be terrible when I called to let them know we were on our way for our couple's massage appointment, and someone there hung up on me. They could not find our appointment when we arrived but told us to sit down. Five minutes after, they took another couple who got there after us in for their massage. When we complained, they responded, "No, no, you, no appointment. You wait." We asked, "Wait until when," and they said, "3 o'clock." Mind you, the time at this time was 1 pm. I am giving three stars because my massage was great the lady definitely knew what she was doing years of practice. The place didn't seem as clean and up put as too what they are charging for their services. They front desk last had hair dye in her hair lol it was honestly funny. Then the therapist tried too hassle me for a "better" tip I guess my 15$ wasn't good enough. Started off amazing! I was very pleased with the level of massage provided. I get a massage once, sometimes twice a week... so I drove by and saw they were offering a $40 introductory rate for a relaxation massage. Again, it was amazing! Oddly enough though, you pay up front (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but I had asked them to also put the tip on the card so it could be on the same transaction (I would have automatically given 15-20%), and I was told that I would have to run a 2nd transaction after the massage. So after the massage, I did just that. I was going to leave a 20% tip ($8 is 20% of $40) when right away, the woman at the front desk immediately states, "You're really going to give them something less than $20/each?" That struck me as really odd... because if I had paid full price, which is $65, and given 20%, that would have still been only a $13 tip. So when I became a bit surprised by her comment, she then states, "Were they not good enough for you?" We both felt really awkward, paid the 50% tip and decided we were going to just stick with our usual massage parlor. To me, $8 for a $40 massage would have been great... even $10. And $13-$15 for a $60-$65 massage would have been great too. So if you like being told what to tip and then feeling bad if it's not enough (she was actually going to show me previous customers transactions to prove a point), then this is the place for you. read more

I got a couples massage Groupon for my friend and I, we went in and the massage started at 5pm and suppose to go for 50min. Right when the masseuse come in they don't introduce or say anything. Mine immediately rips off the very thin drape they provide and touches my leg randomly then covers it up. She then answers a phone call and leaves the room for a few min. Right when she started massaging me I could tell she was inexperienced. I am not someone who requires a firm massage by any means but you can tell she was just randomly spreading oil all over my body with no purpose. I gave it some time hoping it would get better and it didn't. She continued this random array of just touching me so I asked her to massage me and do have it a little more firm. She ignores me. Then she turns me around and I ask again and nothing changes. At this point, I just know she straight up doesn't know how to massage. I was dressed by 5:49 meaning my massage didn't even last 50 min not even factoring in the minutes she kept leaving randomly and to answer phone calls. Then as I'm leaving is asking for a tip I politely told her no because I didn't even get what I paid for. I am happy to leave a great tip if the person just did their job properly. I've never been so disappointed with a massage in my life. My friend had the same experience with her lady and was really needing a real massage due to knots she has in her neck. Very relaxed, comfortable place to get a couple's massage! My girlfriend and I called ahead (only about 20 minutes) and they were able to get us in immediately for a 60-minute couple's massage (I believe it was a "wellness massage") and it was absolutely incredible. Both beds were in the same room and I had a lady work on me and a nice man worked on my girlfriend in a nice quiet room in tandem. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming to this place. I signed up for a couples massage for myself and my husband. During our massage they kept walking out to answer incoming calls. The lady that massage my husband did most of the walk-out to answer calls. He probably only got half a massage hour! At the end of the massage, the same lady stated "we take TIps. We work off of tips." We said okay, and gave them $6 each. I told them they'd probably should be more focus on their customers instead of walking in and out throughout the session. WOMEN DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give negative stars I 100% would!! My boyfriend and I got the couples massage and I had to pay $160 upfront which I've never done before in my life. Then the gentlemen who massaged me was so freakin painful! I kept asking for softer hands and he just kept laughing at me and said to close my eyes. My nose was bothering and I was sneezing like crazy and my eyes were itchy, same with my skin, my whole body was itchy in fact and I probably know why it was like this. And when I looked up, I saw the horrible ventilation system, they just sawed out a hole, put the air duct through it, and put in a grate expecting it would work nice. I was irritated for the whole hour I was here, not pleasant. Also when they were done, they ask for tip. Like literally asked for tip. "Hey u wanna give tip?" Like as a business owner myself, you can't just ask, like demand tip. Like for example, I'm checking out a customer and they do their business paying or whatever and then at the end, "hey u wanna give any tip to me?" She started with deep pressure in my feet and moved toward rolling knees into the larger muscles in my legs. All of the tension was unwinding. The next part was where the real magic happened. The therapist began to slowly walk on my back while providing a deep massage with her toes. Her motion continued up my back and into the shoulders. The massage lasted an hour, but the benefits continued for days. Following the massage, I was walking in comfort with correct posture. The best part was I haven't thought about the soreness since. INCREDIBLE. i'm moving to Arizona soon and will be going again. I had Helen, and she was amazing. My mother had Jason. The best part about this place is that they ask where you're hurting and they really really listen. They worked on the knots in my shoulders, and my mom had a sciatic nerve problem. My mom is a nurse and this really really helped her. They were great about asking what pressure felt right and what areas needed attention. Ask for the deep tissue massage with the hot stones.
