The kind of hunger that hits after a gymnastics meet isn't subtle, and we walked into Masito ready for something warm and filling. It was a late lunch crowd, but the room still felt relaxed, and we were seated and settled quickly. We ordered the Cupbap Ribeye, kimchi fried rice, and a house ramen to share around the table. The ribeye cupbap really delivered on comfort -- tender pieces of beef layered over rice, savory and satisfying without feeling heavy. The kimchi fried rice had that familiar tang and warmth you hope for, with a good balance between spice and richness. The house ramen was exactly what we needed after a long morning: a hot, soothing bowl with deep broth flavor that felt restorative more than flashy. Midway through the meal, they surprised us with complimentary dumplings, which was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made the whole experience feel even more welcoming. Service stood out just as much as the food. Everything came out quickly, and the staff checked in at the right moments without hovering. They were genuinely friendly in a way that felt natural, not scripted, and it made the meal that much more enjoyable. Masito is the kind of place that understands what comfort food should feel like -- generous, flavorful, and served with care. If you're coming in after a long event or just need something satisfying and warm, this is a solid stop. Come hungry, and don't be surprised if they go the extra mile to make you feel taken care of.

Tried Masito Korean House Tofu for the first time this past Sunday around noon, and I was surprised to see only one other table occupied--especially during what should be peak lunch hours. That was my first hint that the place is still new and getting their footing. We were quickly greet by a very cheerful and friendly hostess/server. She was very cool so positive energy so made the time enjoyable. One we placed our orders, the banchan (side dishes) were quickly delivered and sadly just four small items but refillable. Even the most modest mom-and-pop Korean spots I've been to typically serve a more generous variety (like 5-7). Banchan is such a big part of the Korean dining experience, so this felt like a letdown but hey onward to main course. I ordered the seafood tofu soup, which is usually my go-to, but unfortunately the broth lacked flavor. It felt like it was missing that depth, spicy satisfying taste. To make matters worse, the shrimp in the soup were tiny baby shrimp--not exactly what you'd expect or hope for in a seafood tofu stew. There were generous amounts of tofu. Now on the BRIGHT side, the kimchi fried rice with spam is delicious!! The fried tofu bimbimpo was awesome too with the sauce. Service was polite and the space is clean, but overall the tofu soup felt can improve. There's potential here, so will come back end of year to try something else. Got to support the mom and pop shops and restaurants.

One other Korean restaurant in Yorba Linda and was so excited to try it. It's a little similar to BCD but home style. The food was good, but with some pros and cons. The soodubu was flavorful. The bibimbap was kind of oily and the black bean noodles were just ramen noodles, not jajangmyeon. The galbi was pretty little for quantity to price. The guys serving us were pretty nice though! Definitely a go to place if need some quick fill Korean food without going to LA or the OC.

Such a delicious Korean restaurant in Anaheim Hills. I've eaten here several times now - the food and service are consistently wonderful every time. There's just something so comforting about this restaurant. I don't know if it's because the staff is so welcoming, or if it's because it's smaller and cozier than other Korean restaurants, but I keep coming back! My go to order is the original beef tofu soup. The BBQ beef short ribs are also delicious. The entree combos are a good size to share. Prices for the combos vary depending on if it's lunch or dinner & they also have a lunch special menu. Banchan options are a bit limited, but I don't mind it because they serve my favorites. They close for a short period during the day, so I would recommend double checking the time before heading over.

I came here with my partner to try it out! The service was ok and the ambiance was a bit quiet! Not too much people were in, so I'm surprised it wasn't too packed! Short rib: juicy, flavorful, marinated well! Well seasoned! Definitely recommend! Japchae: simple and light flavoring with soy sauce and sesame oil. Light veggies such as onions, green onion and carrots! Tofu Soup: Not too much meat in the soup, nice spice and kick! TIP: Parking was ample and near the gas station! I believe there's a restroom in the corner of the restaurant (not too sure)! They do have a lunch special menu as well!

Restaurant closes at 9:00 pm per posted signage; but cut-off for dine in is 8:30 PM, sort of. First time finding this out was when I arrived at 8:45 pm. No biggie. I found out it's sort of 8:30 pm, when I arrived just before 8:30 pm and was turned away. I am happy for this establishment as it does not want or need my patronage. Came here around 7:45 pm. Plenty of parking and was seated right away. This is a small korean restaurant that mainly serves tofu soup. Service was great and everything came out fairly quick. This time we got the Galbi+ Pork Tofu soup combo and the Japchae. - Galbi 5/5: juicy, tender, and flavorful - Pork Tofu Soup: soup had a lighter vegetable flavor. Flavor of the meat did not get through in the soup 3.5/5 - Japchae(vegetarian): lightly flavored but still delicious. - banchan: was fresh and yummy 4/5 Finally a decent Korean place in Anaheim Hills. Definitely will go again. Too bad it closes a little early at 9:00 pm but most places in that area closes around that time so it's okay.

Masito is located in a very dark area across from Pep Boys. Because of how poorly lit the area is, I honestly thought the location wasn't open today but it was. The inside of the restaurant isn't huge but has a decent amount of seats. This place is definitely more of a to-go/takeaway place rather than a sit down restaurant. The food was pretty good, but the presentation wasn't great for a sit down restaurant, hence the four stars. Serving some of our dishes on actual plates vs others like kimchi fried rice served in a to-go bowl felt strange to me. The plastic water cups for dine in are also like the ones you'd get at a fast food place, yet a server comes and takes your order, so that was a bit odd for me in the consistency of a sit down dining experience.

Came on a Friday early afternoon and it was not busy at all. Server and (I'm assuming) the owner were both very attentive and friendly. They have some good lunch special deals. My friend got the bulgogi and I got the bulgogi lunch bowl. My friend brought her little kids and unfortunately they spilled some water. The server was very kind and understanding and helped us clean up our area. Space is pretty basic and very casual dining. It feels more like a fast food spot but excellent service, and everything was delish!

I'm averaging the rating of the two times I've been here. Maybe it was an off chance, but if you come here I'd recommend coming during lunch. We came on two separate occasions (second time was much better than first experience). 1st time (2 stars): We came on Wednesday for dinner at 7pm. Upon coming in they had a crying toddler in the kitchen and were severely understaffed. We felt bad about this as it seems like the lady waiting tables was also doing all the take out orders while also carrying and calming the screaming toddler. We waited around hoping for things to calm down. All the empty tables were still dirty and customers seemed annoyed at the wait. We sat for 35 minutes with no one coming by to give us water or taking our order. Neither of the three tables around us received any attention either as it seemed that they were working on a to go order. I did feel empathy as they seemed very stressed but we ended up leaving as it seemed like it would be another hour or two until we would've gotten our food with how slow things were going. 2nd time (4 stars): we decided to come back and give this place another chance, but decided to come during lunch time to avoid the craziness. It was a much different experience, it was a different waiter who was incredibly attentive and good came out quickly. The bbq short ribs were to die for and had the perfect amount of salty and sweet flavor. The vegetable tofu soup was delicious as well, would've wished that they put a little more veggies other than zucchini and mushrooms but overall was yummy!

Masito just opened up less than a year ago and I was finally able to try it! It's a family-owned business opened by two sisters featuring delicious Korean staples, including soondubu, galbi, seafood pancake, and other dishes! All the banchan are made in-house, and they also have lunch specials which make everything even more affordable than they already are. I was able to try the galbi, seafood pancake, soondubu, egg-mari, tteokbokki with dumpling, japchae, bulgogi bibimbap, and marinated pork. Everything was super flavorful and tasted fresh, all while the portion sizes are giant. The all-stars of the show were definitely the galbi, seafood pancake, and the bulgogi bibimbap! The galbi is tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. Probably one of the best I've had. The seafood pancake is crispy and less doughy than other places which I enjoyed. Definitely come try Masito for some quality and authentic Korean cuisine while supporting a small business!

I loooooove SHARING and recognizing businesses that consistently deliver exceptional customer service, and MASITO, a local restaurant in Anaheim Hills, truly stands out. Their amazing food showcases incredible flavors, freshness, with generous portions at unbeatable prices. Although the restaurant is small, the space is thoughtfully arranged to provide a comfortable dining experience. A new addition to the decore is a wall dedicated to drawings made by the kids that come to the restaurnat with their families. The idea of showcasing the drawings is awesome as it highlights a FAMILY setting. After lunch we had a delicious Asian-inspired dessert that combines creamy vanilla ice cream with red bean paste in a fish-shaped cone. NOTE before the meal is served, a SMALL cup of hot tea is provided, I don't know what type of tea it was but it sure was DELICIOUS.

Interesting food, I wouldn't say it's Korean dinning; Maybe more of Korean fusion. Food is okay, but is really sweet, and oily or creamy (not a good thing). Also needs some consistency when ordering same stiff customers will get different ingredients in their meals. Sometimes the bibimbap has lettuce only sometimes it has kimchi sometimes the pork is red sometimes it's not red and just stir fried. read more

Decent no thrill k- tofu spot in Anaheim hills. The side dish, tofu flavor, and the meat are okay. If you crave some hot Korean food and don't want to drive to Fullerton and beyond, this is the spot. read more

I am so excited to finally have a good Korean spot in AH! Stopped by today for lunch and I can honestly say this spot is legit Korean food. I'm used to LA's K-town food, and Masito is on par! We ordered the pork albap, soon tofu soup and kalbi combo, and dumplings. The albap was seriously amazing. It's served in a hot stone pot, so rice with the melted butter on the bottom becomes caramelized. Highly recommend! The banchan was all fresh and very good. Often, the kimchi at other places can be overly fermented, but Masito's was perfect! My husband got the soon tofu soup, extra spicy and it was really good. The broth was a nice consistency, not watered down like other places. The dumplings were yummy, my kids ate them up. Kalbi was not too sweet, very flavorful and tender. Service was so good! Owners are lovely and very attentive. The ambiance is clean and modern. I'm truly impressed and so glad I don't have to drive 30 minutes to Buena Park anymore! read more

My daughter suggested we try this new Korean restaurant in Anaheim Hills, and I have to say, I was impressed! The food was delicious!!! We ordered fried tofu, bulgogi bibimbap, vegetable tofu soup, and everything was SO tasty! The service was great! Even though, they were quite busy, they did their best to get to everyone's table. They were very polite, and friendly. I can confidently say, we will eat here again. read more

Came here because my husband was craving Korean tofu soup and he was looking up yelp to find a place on our way home from work. We came here and at first glance, nice, simple decor. Simple menu, which is also nice because it made the decision easier on what to order. He ordered the seafood and beef tofu soon. I am always up for seafood pancake. And husband wanted a rice dish as well, so he ordered the Bulgogi Bibimbap. The bulgogi bibimbap was so good. The meat wasn't too sweet like most places, so that's was great. It also didnt have all the carrots and other stuff in it that I'm not a fan of, lol. The seafood pancake was also yummy. It came with a spicy mayo or reg dipping sauce. It was also thick, which made me worry that it wouldn't be cooked all the way through. But to my surprise, it was. And it hit the spot. The soup was different than we are used, but that could be because we normally go to a well know chain and are used to that soup. So we can only say it was different. Not bad, just different. And lastly, the staff were really nice. Greetings when we came in, thank yous when we left and got us everything we asked for in between. We'll definitely come back here for our cravings. read more

Decided to give the new Korean restaurant in Anaheim Hills a try and it did not disappoint! I definitely found my new go to place when I'm craving authentic Korean food. I was so hungry and the food was so good that I forgot to take pictures, but I definitely recommend the chicken "jeon", pork "albap", and galbi (make sure to specify if you want it cooked medium rare or well done, whatever your heart desires). The banchan here is good too (a good sign that the other food will be good). Considering I came during their 2nd day of soft opening, the service was great! Definitely will be back here often. read more

Service was great, was really nice and accommodating since our orders came out wrong . Food was not what I was expecting, both my friend and I had a corn-smell and taste in our tofu soup? We were expecting a typical traditional tofu soup, but we did not get that. Ddeokbokki didnt seem like rice cake? It was more translucent and more squishy compared to traditional rice cake dish. I wouldnt come here again and do not recommend if you're looking for traditional tofu soup. read more

We came on their soft opening of their first day. Knowing it was their first day, we knew they were figuring out everything and trying to adjust to being a new business. They were very friendly and very accommodating the whole time. It's was a minimalist atmosphere with large framed pictures, Korean ads/music, and nice furniture. The prices were reasonable/average price. We had the Bulgogi Jikhwa + Tofu Soup and the Bulgogi Albap. They were kind and brought us Japchae as well (not pictured). The freshly prepared/cooked food was wonderful. My bulgogi was so flavorful and so good when hot. And it was a good amount too! I look forward to seeing where this place will go when it becomes more established and I'm excited to have a locally owned Korean restaurant in the neighborhood. read more

It's so nice to have a Korean restaurant nearby - usually I'll drive to Irvine for my fix. We ordered takeout through their website. Their kimchi is to die for and their tofu soup is super comforting when everyone at home is sick. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu items. read more

Being Korean, I was so excited to have a Korean restaurant finally close by. Unfortunately, I ordered tofu soup via DoorDash tonight, and although the flavor was on point, the onions and zucchini in the soup were not cooked. Cooked vegetables is the easiest part of soup and I'm sad to report that they were crunchy and raw. For the price, I expected more. read more

Masito was FIRE. We've been waiting for a good Korean restaurant to open in Anaheim Hills and it did not disappoint. The place was clean and sleek and the food was epic. I finally stopped in to have dinner at Masito after hearing rave reviews and I absolutely loved it! Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and offered some suggestions on some of their most popular dishes and they didn't disappoint. Their bulgogi was so flavorful. I really enjoyed the food at Masito. Their Kalbi combo ( with kalbi and Tofu soup) were delicious. Their Bibimbap was also really good. I really liked the ambiance and the owners were really nice. Would definitely come back soon read more

Visited this new Korean restaurant with my family and was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience! We were seated immediately, which set a positive tone for the evening. We ordered the tofu soup ( soon dubu) and bulgogi bibimbap - both were outstanding. The banchan (side dishes) deserves special mention - fresh, flavorful, and generous portions.
