This place was awesome. Such an easy self serve experience and very clean. Lots of ramen options that I haven't seen before. Definitely a must try! My daughter loves ramen and she can't wait to come back! The woman who helped us was very nice and helped my daughter with the self serve machine.

Tom Yum Noddle, added egg, fish cake, dumplings, white onion, green onion and jalapeño!

Come in. Grab and ice cup. Pick up a tray. Pick your beverages (fun flavors in the pouches near the noodles) pick a noodles. Bring your tray with your items to pay, premium toppings available for purchase ; I got egg, fish cake and dumplings. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Instructions are listed however she came by to help me as a first timer. There are also a few complimentary toppings available; I added onion, green onion and jalepenos. Cooking time is 2-4 mins. And enjoy ! It's super hot . Will be coming back when I crave ramen from now on.

My daughter and I stopped for lunch on a Sunday. It was the first time we tried a ramen place like this. The young lady working was incredibly friendly and helpful. She walked us through the process. We both enjoyed our ramen and drinks. My daughter finished off her meal with an ice cream she said was delicious. We will definitely return!

Been curious wanting to try a self-serve noodle shop that's been popping up online. I've now already eaten here three times to get my instant ramyeon fix! My favorite is the Jin ramyeon! The attendant there is very polite and helpful. The place is very well kept and clean. You grab your desired pack out of the many Japanese and Korean brands to choose from. Select any additional toppings (cheese, egg, spam, kimchi, etc) for a small fee. After you pay, you get your bowl and cook on their induction machine. Instructions are fairly easy to follow. Time depends on the thickness of the noodle, but should be ready within 3-4 minutes. Word of caution, if you aren't into spicy noodles, do not put the entire sauce or seasoning packet unless you want to burn your mouth. They also have toppings for no extra charge such as bean sprouts, lemon, scallions, and cilantro. They also have gimbap and frozen desserts as well as many different flavored beverages. If you want to try something new, this is a great place to check out!

They just opened, it's clean and the employees are so kind and helpful, there is a large variety of ramen of all kinds. Once school is back in session I think this will be another great option for them. Great spot.

Such a clean, cozy, ambient, and delicious place to enjoy different varieties of ramens, snacks, and beverages. Ramen is always cooked to perfection using the machine and it's super fun to watch as well. Nice environment with ample parking space to enjoy ramen and snacks by yourself and/or with friends. Not to mention such friendly and quick service! Will be back soon and very often, thank you Hurook!!!

I recommend this place for a quick, delicious, and affordable meal. The place was welcoming, had many options, and the owner and staff were so nice and friendly. 100% recommend!

Our server wasn't very personable but also not rude or terrible. I felt a little rushed even with a small menu. Being that I had never been there before, I wasn't sure what to get so I pretty much just blurted out whatever. What we ordered: 1) Black deluxe chicken paitan with pork - the broth was so tasty, it was absolutely delicious. The pork slices were generous, however, it was DRY. 2) Pork chashu - for my kid. They loved the broth as well and also felt that the pork slices were dry. I wanted to give 4 out of 5 stars, but I am going to hand them a 3. I loved the tasty broth, but the pork was too dry. How could you mess that up as a ramen restaurant? The portions looked a little smaller than what I am used to paying for much less money. That photo of my black deluxe chicken paitan with pork is very deceiving. It looks like a lot, but it definitely wasn't. I usually can't finish my bowl of ramen in one sitting and take the other half home. I barely had any broth in there, and being that the broth was very good, I was disappointed to run out of it before I was even done with the noodles and meat. Would I return? Sure. I liked the food. It's not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but if I was around the neighborhood and wanted ramen, I would dine there again.

Ages ago, during Titan-con, the anime/nerd convention run by the college, my friends and I decided to grab some ramen here. I could barely fit in the car since I couldn't take the Oda Nobunaga hat off of my head without taking off the wig, so that was a very hilarious memory. We came slightly before the weekend lunch rush so we didn't have to wait, but I can see this place getting super busy and fisted. There's bar counter seating (which we got) that surrounds the entire kitchen area and a decent amount of tables, but knowing people's love for ramen, and how a lot of the OC is a hellscape, it can get quite fisted. Service was friendly and welcoming, being in such a busy area and near a college, I'm sure staff have seen and experienced much more and polite people in cosplay weren't too much of a shock. I got their Aka Ramen which is made from kara (spicy) miso. Comes with 2 pieces of chashu and a seasoned soft boiled egg. I'm not a fan of beansprouts, so I made sure to donate this to a friend. Nice rich miso broth, and like many Japanese restaurant places (that don't have the ability to super build and customize), it has a slight heat, but not super spicy in the slightest. Noodles are thin style and had a nice texture to it that went well with the broth. Overall, not bad.

It turned what could have been a simple dinner into a memorable experience from the moment I sat down. I ordered the sashimi plate, and it was absolutely outstanding--fresh, beautifully prepared, and surprisingly well-priced for the quality. What impressed me most was the honesty of the staff. I was considering ordering a larger portion, but they actually talked me out of it because they knew I wouldn't finish it. They were right. That small gesture showed me they cared more about giving me a great experience than squeezing a few extra dollars out of my wallet. That kind of customer service is rare these days. What makes this experience even more memorable is that I had just come from X Fish Izakaya, where I spent nearly an hour waiting to be seated while watching people who arrived after me get seated first. I left feeling frustrated and completely overlooked. Walking into Chubby Sushi was the exact opposite experience. Here, I felt welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely taken care of from the moment I walked through the door. As if the food and service weren't enough, on my way out I met a well-known food reviewer and even got the chance to hold a giant tuna head that Chubby Sushi had on display for a photo. It was one of those unexpected moments that made an already great night unforgettable. Sometimes a bad experience leads you exactly where you're supposed to be. I'm genuinely glad X Fish Izakaya dropped the ball because it led me to discover Chubby Sushi. This wasn't just a great meal--it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time and one I'll remember for years to come. I'll definitely be back. Chubby Sushi didn't just earn my business--they earned a customer for life.
