Stopped by today to try it out, only had a couple drinks but the service was amazing and the pineapple bomb was so delicious! A little pricey but I'll definitely be back to try some of the food as well! read more

Interesting concept. Every menu item has some sort of moonshine in it. The baby back rub sandwich was very good. I could not get a hint of the moonshine in the BBQ sauce though. The fried chicken sandwich was also tasty, a bit too much slaw though. Could not taste the moonshine in it either. This place is a hipster heaven. I'm a little more of a traditional brew house lover, so this wasn't for me as much. But the food was tasty. read more

Really goos for lunch! The avocado salad was really good and didnt need the dressing. Chicken was good perfect but it's a small breast so order a side of some more protein. read more

I beg to differ on what you say is a full or half order. Four members of our party ordered the full order and they received 4 large pieces of chicken with 2 biscuit. And one of the full orders had 4 pieces plus an additional piece cut in half. My 1/2 order consisted of a small pounded out piece of chicken the size of my palm cut in half. That is a big discrepancy. I would have responded privately as you requested but you did not provide any contact infirmation. read more

There are those handful of times in your life when you can finish a meal, and think to yourself, this was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Having celiac disease, it's extremely hard to find a restaurant with decadent food that's gluten free. Mash's nailed it as far as I'm concerned. I will definitely be returning, and highly recommending them to others! read more

We booked our reservation 3 months in advance for my fiancées graduation, we got here and had to wait over an hour for our table to be ready. The reservation system does not work, and terrible service. I would give less than one star if possible. read more

Ten out of ten for mash'd and our waitress Aubrey!! Amazing food and outstanding service!! Never, in my 47 years of dining, have I been on a patio, and my server bring me a chilled towel. I didn't ask for it, she just brought the towels out on a plate and walked away. Wow! Talk about going above and beyond during an already amazing dining experience!!! read more

I ordered the ribs & the cook did a jam up job! Sides of mashed potatoes & broccoli were excellent! I would recommend this place highly.

Their brunch was incredible. Got the chicken and waffles dish and definitely was good. The Bloody Mary was real good as well. Always packed is the bad part read more

Visited here twice and loved it each time. The Manhole pancakes are probably the best pancakes I've ever eaten. The syrup is to die for. The chorizo biscuits, for the chicken and biscuits plate, are a little denser than I would like but when eaten with the Chuck Norris sauce it doesn't become to big of a deal. I wish the Smores Tini was a little creamier and the mint added a refreshing twist that I enjoyed on a hot day. The staff was very informative and super friendly and there was no wait since we made reservations. read more

Had the market fish catch of the day and it was a red trout with mustard dill vinaigrette. Came with broccoli, rice and a palate cleansing slaw. Sauce on fish to die for!! read more

We were seated at the bar with a nice view of the patio. I ordered a salmon and it came out overcooked. Our server, Alex and bartender, without hesitation reordered the salmon which came out perfectly. My wife ordered a Rustic salad and did not realize she got the large bowl. Alex reduced the price due to her mistake. Again, Alex did not hesitate to make sure we were taken care of and she deserves a raise. The manager later came by and apologized for the overcooked salmon. read more

I'm not a fan of their brunch. The Benny Skillet was a hot mess. The creamed spinach was ice cold which doesn't make since to have on a hot plate. The chorizo biscuits were DRY and no flavor. The poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were also cold. I wasn't impressed. The service was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was not good. read more

I was Very impressed with Gluten Free menu. Food was delicious, great music, fun place. Definitely will go back when in San Antonio.

Excellent food each and every time! The Detroit style pizza here is absolutely delicious!! The best pizza in town!! Moonshine Drinks are yummy too. read more

Great service and ambience! The prices are a little more than I expected (about $15 a plate). My friend got the Benny skillet which she really enjoyed. I got the Unholy one, which is basically fried chicken with french toast and roasted potatoes. I didn't really like it - there's a reason fried chicken pairs well with waffles, and a lot of it has to do with the texture and crispness. The French toast was way too thick and got soggy quickly, overpowering the chicken. I will definitely steer away from that dish if I ever go back. read more

Came in and started with two Samplers of moonshine. All had a great taste and a great selection. Appetizer was chicken fried pepperoni. Great flavor! Must try. Entrees included the meatloaf and the steak tacos. The steak on the tacos was flavorful and tender. The slaw went well on the tacos. The meatloaf was unique yet very good. Not your traditional meatloaf. Also ordered an additional drink, Ole Fashion. Nothing in common with an Old Fashion. This drink included Apple Moonshine and a Carmel rim. I am glad I ordered this late in the meal, as it is a great liquid dessert. Will be returning again! The server, Shelby, was great and attentive without being at the table constantly. read more

What a disaster. My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The waiter moved at a snails pace and couldn't be bothered to be helpful at all. After ordering, my husbands tacos came out about 25 minutes later. As a gentleman, he wanted to wait till my pizza came, which we were told would be "about five minutes". We ordered another round of drinks while waiting, which took ANOTHER 15 minutes for a gin and tonic and a seltzer. So we have been there 45 minutes and I still don't have my food. The chef comes out and apologizes and says it will be "about five more minutes". THIRTY MINUTES AFTER THAT the pizza arrives. At this point we have been there over an hour and a half, husbands food was inedible, and we had only been served a couple rounds of drinks. When we asked for the check to leave, we expected some kind of discount or something for the ridiculous wait time. Nope. Nothing. We will absolutely never return to this place. Ever. read more

Definitely get the ribs, my god, those ribs. Cool spot with a great drink selection and great service.

Delicious place! For brunch, lunch, and dinner! Always a great time and AMAZING drinks! GET THE MULE! Management and crew truly practice excellent customer service! read more

Came here for a date night and it's like almost nothing I've expirienced before, the music is loud, really loud, so for a romantic date night look else where but if your looking to get your drink and grub on this is a good all around spot. They have a reverse type happy hour with several of their in house moonshines, yes I said moonshine, but not your grandfather's type, it won't make you see white ha ha, very tasty and smooth. They have flights of these as well, dangerous! As well as hand crafted cocktails which were also amazing! The food is no joke either, something you woildnt expect from a heavy bar type atmosphere, the salads are ridiculously good and hugely portioned, makes sharing less painful, and the rib sandwich was amazing, although we did find a bone in ours. The service wasnt phenomenal, but it was friendly so at least thats a plus. Highly recommended and will be attended by myself in the future. read more

We went for brunch with some friends. The service was great, the moonshine drinks were on point and the Rebellious burger was delish! We will be back! read more

I was really excited to try this place. I was very disappointed overall with the experience. There was food all over the floor under our table. We ordered the corn and bean jalapeño salsa, shepard's pie and meatloaf along with a couple of drinks. We both felt sick afterwards and throughout the night. The shepard's pie that my boyfriend ordered was terrible. One of, if not the worst dinners we have had dining out in San Antonio. FYI: We dined there on Saturday December 26th and I have the receipt since their business manager said my review was not legitimate and accused me of working for a rival restaurant lol. read more

Been here a few times for drinks and it is a decent atmosphere. Service is on the slower side. This was the first time I've eaten here and I got the chicken and biscuits because the pictures make it look amazing, but it tasted like they had spilled a pound of salt in it. It was too salty to even eat more than a quarter of the meal. read more

Been wanting to check this place out for a while now and was not disappointed! Staff was friendly from the minute we walked in. Cute newspaper menus. The crown jewel of this place is the drinks. They bring flavor to the moonshine world! They definitely don't skimp on the 'shine! Try the Tea or the Margarita. Sooo good! We had the queso, which was tasty, a burger and a fish sandwich. No complaints about food. Will definitely be back! read more

Took my beautiful date to Mash'D-The Rim last night for dinner! Had 6:45 reservations, met at the door and immediately seated. Our server Savannah introduced herself, asked if it was our first time and then discussed the menu. Savannah was AWESOME the whole visit. I tried the chicken and biscuits and my lady had the meatloaf. We shared half of each! No exaggeration, the food was amazing! The atmosphere is lively and if you are looking for quiet....don't go there! We were looking for fun and got it! We shall return!! Thanks MASH'd!!! read more

This place is really tasty and the staff is always very helpful. I take my kids in and although they're picky eaters, they finish all their food. I'm a huge fan of their ribs and the chicken and chorizo biscuits are amazing. Tacos are good too. read more

Went for brunch. It was crowded but we got lucky with a spot at the bar. Bartenders were very friendly and service was great. Food was delicious and drinks during brunch were cheap! Young professional crowd. Had NFL games on as well. Couldn't ask for much more. Had a great time. read more

Boyfriend and I went yesterday to get brunch. Waitress told us they stopped serving brunch at 3 o'clock to which I replied "it's 2:50." She just stared at us in response. Super awkward. I understand we were cutting it close, but if there's still ten minutes left before it ENDS, than we should have been served brunch. Ended up leaving because overall the service was just bad. read more

Why oh why to choose to come here for brunch, it's not the food or service...it was the traffic in no tax weekend and everyone going to six flags. I got the triple threat pancakes and for a lover of the cake and chocolate, this was heaven on a plate. Lucky for us we got there when they just opened so in we seat. I really liked how the pancakes had a slight crust to give it that "brownie" touch, whether on purpose or accident...i loved it. The butter and whip cream really hit the mark but I had to ask about the maple jalapeno syrup because I wasn't sure if it was for my wife's eggs lol. It tastes like syrup with a hint of heat, almost like candied jalapeno. I used some of the syrup but preferred the pancake without it. If I got eggs with the pancake, I would've used that syrup for them. The wife got the moonshine flight and I really liked that coconut shine, she had a tie with the apple pie and peach. She did comment that she liked her omelet and skillet fries. Glad I found out about this spot recently and will be back again. The service was really good. Keep up the great work. read more

I'll keep it short . Yummy food, great staff and awesome location . I totally recommend this place .

In spite of a map that led me nowhere close to the restaurant, we accidentally found it ... AND a parking spot! The adventure was well worth it. Not only was the food delicious, but our waitress and the manager quickly made us feel like old friends. The menu took a long time to study, but we had tasty drinks, so we didn't mind. For those of us who live in Boerne, the dining experience will make the drive pleasant. We plan to return in the near future, just to try some of the other interesting menu items. My check in was negative but OMFG the moonshine is amazing. It is an experience you should try.

The food is rich and the drinks are good. Great for when friends or family are in town or even if celebrating life's beautiful events.

Ate here for their first brunch- so great! I got the migas and a blood orange mimosa- both were great. Hubs got their version of eggs Benedict and the blackberry mimosa- also great. I see this place getting busy as words spreads and the holidays near! read more
