Myself and a friend wanted to try out this new place; grab some drinks and possibly try their grub. The four hostesses greeted us with hesitation and confusion. The Bar and dining area was plenty open but they proceeded to sit us in a separate room with one other two seated dimly lit table, no complaints. Before our waitress could greet us, the hostess came back and asked us if we were planning on eating, if so we needed to hurry and be done in forty five minutes because she needed the space for another party. That she explained in detail to be more important. I was instantly turned off by the hospitality. Having one drink, their version of a Moscow Mule, it was terrible. For the fact that they gave me a time limit on how long I could be there as soon as I walked in the door I will never return. Terrible service, terrible drinks (unless you like pure sugar). Always great food! The Rebellious burger & avacado bomb salad are our favorites. Provided some feedback about the server who brought our dinner to the table, and then came back again with ketchup. The bartenders are really cool and definitely knowledgeable. My friend and I asked what kind of local beers they had and they recommended some good ones. Great specialty drinks! Our waiter on the other hand not so good. On the menu it says Ask your server about local craft so when we asked he says I don't know then flips over the menu and says in a not so quite polite tone There ya go! See! Coors Light, Miller Lite, what you want? We didn't know whether to laugh or get mad! That's why we went to the bar. Food was so so. The plates used make the bread on the pizza and burger soggy. This is is a great place to try some Moonshine brand liquor infused cocktails and drinks. It's at the Rim so it was pretty packed on a Saturday evening. It is open seating at the bar area and outside, so if you're planning on sitting at a table expect on waiting at least an hour. We ordered an appetizer of spinach dip and fish sandwich and side salad. The dip was very sodium enriched but and very cheesy. The corn added a nice flavor as most spinach dips I've had don't add corn. The fish sandwich had coleslaw, an avocado spread, and drizzled with Sriracha sauce. All food was delicious. We also had a sangria moonshine, moonshine White Russian, and a tea moonshine drink. All were very tasty and pretty strong. We'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other food and drinks! read more

Was kindly invited back to Mash'D after my previous traumatic experience. Went with the same work group as last visit but had to get Billy loaded on Xanax for he feared his life was in danger again. Waitress was attentive and got the orders right. Billy's burger came plain as he ordered it and was relieved there wasn't an assassination attempt on his very existence again. Serious queso was awesome and later gave me SERIOUS gas. Rebellious burger has God tier bacon. This was my first time at Mash'd. Great experience, a really nice charming modern place. I had a nice cocktail, the House mule. My waitress was really nice, attenative and on her game. I can take some time to order because I disect the menu to find what stands out to me. So I asked the waitress what does she like? After going over the menu, I had the Chicken and cheddar busicuts with Chuck Norris gravy. This is tasty but, you tend to be over it after your 4th bite. It's not anything you cant make at home. The gravy was good but you can make this at home with sausage gravy and adding some hot sauce and cheese to you're homestyle gravy. The cheesy corn & spinach dip does not live up to be a great dip and parity. The cream spinach was still missing that jalapeno flavor in the dip and punch. The corn just seemed to be an after thought and the fontina cheese it's topped with wasn't melted well. This dip felt like it was missing something other than flavor, perhaps a puree of jalapeno could bring more flavor and blend well with the creamy spinach they attempted. Lastly, my girlfriend had the Turkey burger. This sad burger was written better than it was made. The patty was a frozen manufactured patty, lacked flavor, and there was too much bun. It came with a sauce on the side that was a ketchup and mustard mixture and over salted string fries. The drinks are promising here. I probably more than likely won't be back. read more

Cool atmosphere, very friendly staff, food came out quickly, fried chicken was amazing. The Chuck Norris gravy was perfect with the chicken, but I wasn't a fan of the biscuits. This dish would be much better paired with traditional buttermilk biscuits, perhaps with a bit more crunch. The cheese biscuits just didn't pair well with the gravy. Again, service these days often sucks and I'd come back just for the friendly staff which is saying something. read more

Best service I have ever received. The manager Shane was personable and both made sure we were doing great and felt welcome. Our server made sure our experience was fun and went into detail on each dish including the ingredients, how it was cooked, and what complimented it well. I loved the Rebellious Burger and Corn Dip appetizer. The Rebellious Burger is more than generous on size so come prepared with an appetite. The manager Shane even stopped by again and asked us to come back and made sure we enjoyed our meal. I wish I would have gotten our waiters name but he did an excellent job. He was a younger guy and was super friendly. My drink was delicious, it was called the jolly rancher and it was one of the best mixed drink I have ever had. The burger that I had was a BBQ meat burger and the fries were absolutely great. The atmosphere was nice and the music was pretty good for the meal. I felt like this was a great place to visit for the family. My sister brought her son with her and he is almost two. It can bring chaos to even the best of environments but they were nice and helpful at all times. This would be one of my go-to places if I lived in the area. read more

Went here with a good friend and loved it! The service was awesome. My water glass was never less than half-full. The waitress was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. All the other staff members were great too. My friend had a small portion of the kale salad and really enjoyed it. It was the perfect portion to have room for dessert. I had the crab and shrimp volcano and loved it! I never would have ordered this, but based on the other yelp reviews I just had to give it a try. It was creamy and sweet with just a little bit of a kick. Delicious! I ate half of my dish so I could try some dessert. For dessert we tried the scotch cake and the pot de creme. The scotch cake was pretty good. It's definitely too big for only one person to eat. The pot de creme was excellent. Not too sweet and the pistachios were the perfect touch. This place definitely provides a sensory overload with a million screens everywhere and loud music. But my friend and I still managed to have meaningful conversation, so it wasn't TOO loud. Definitely not a good place for kids (I have 4 kids). This is a popular place and I can see why, so try to make a reservation on Open Table. You won't regret it. I will certainly be back! read more

Came for brunch while on vacation. Great deal on mimosas and plenty of flavors to choose from. I had the over medium eggs, on top of French fries, chorizo, and cheese. It was delish. I usually have to get a togo box because it's always A LOT of food. I've been for dinner as well and love it! Definitely check out the blackberry or blood orange mimosas! The knock out punch is also a fav but will definitely get you so one or two is more than enough even though it only taste like juice! Also check out the shrimp and crab leg combo boil! Went last Saturday for a girlfriend's bday brunch and no amount of $2 dollar mimosas can remedy our experience. I had the "Mash'd Tator eggsplosion" which is supposed to include taters, bacon and eggs. The "Mash'd" (no pun intended) tators was a flavorless gelatinous mix coupled with powered eggs and a scintilla of bacon. Another girlfriend ordered the French toast that which is something of a misnomer as she was served 4 scant pieces of bread (think a thinly sliced baguette) toppled with nearly a pound of this cream cheese butter spread. The birthday girl had ordered the "Benny's skillet" and while they used real eggs for this dish, it was quite dry and flavorless. Needless to say, our meals went unfinished. Went to brunch with a couple of friends and right away the server was rude and you could tell he didn't want to be there or couldn't handle the pressure of being busy. Trust me I understand when a place is busy how hectic things can be..only thing that can help the situation is having a decent attitude towards your customers. Everyone ordered at the same time and only two people got food. 20 minutes later everyone else's food came out and they had still not received their app. My potatoes had no seasoning and were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. You know it happens. The server could not be bothered with anything after forgetting to put any of our orders in. We spoke with a manager and immediately was served by someone who knew what she was doing and got everything out right and quick. The guy with the man bun and glasses, kinda skinny, was then just standing there for awhile just talking with a customer sitting at a table next to us ABOUT US. This place is awful. It's a living breathing hipster stereotype. Everything we ordered was awful even my son who is a garbage disposal didn't finish his food. The salad was inedible, the drinks tasted like cough syrup then the waitress brought us a cup of simple syrup to fix it, my margarita literally had cilantro in it. The tacos were sweet cause of some garbage glaze they used, and I didn't try the potato salad but I'm sure if I did it would have had raisins in it. Stay away. read more
