MASH Movers were a delight to work with! Their three man crew was professional, efficient and fun! Their minimum is only two hours which was perfect for moving the furniture and large boxes from my one bedroom second-story apartment. MASH arrived on time and was very communicative ahead of their arrival to my apartment. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. Not only where the able to book them early morning, but Seth and the boys are great! They showed up on time, and they were ready to tackle our two bedroom apartment to a three bedroom apartment (on the second floor) all with smiles! My couches were probably the hardest part of the move and the done did it. Quite frankly how sweet and friendly the guys are it really feels like it's just you and your friends moving helping you move. Their rate is fair, for all that their willingness to help and put things where they go. They are concerned with how you feel. I've used other moving companies to move and I haven't felt this satisfied with a move than with MASH Movers. If we move from our apartments, I will def call Seth and his boys again. First off, Seth was by far the fastest respondent to my Yelp quote request which shows that he cares about making new customers. I relayed that I needed some help moving within a 24 hour period and he quickly responded to my request with the staff and moving equipment necessary to make my move a huge success. The quote was straight forward. Seth and Tony were the "muscle" that showed up promptly at 9:00am. They worked diligently, safely, carefully and quickly---making fast work of my project. They were friendly and professional. We talked alot about Austin, life, and music---as both of them are musicians (more on that later). This was my first experience hiring movers ever and I've moved ALOT around Austin. Since I am pregnant (& Texas heat is no joke) I made the jump to hire the MASH team and to say I was surprised would be an understatement. I received prompt communication prior to the move complete with a quote and FAQ's which helped me a lot. They're my first choice because: -no hidden fees -one of the cheapest rates in Austin -despite being so cheap Seth brought a crew that made the move go faster for that same cheap hourly rate (everyone else charges extra for more movers) -they were careful with my stuff and didn't break a thing (including cheap ikea furniture) -that chest I have that damaged my floor in my last two moves when handled by movers didn't damage anything this time -they're hard working and genuinely nice guys who deserve the business I've moved in Seattle, Vancouver and Austin multiple times and haven't found better movers anywhere. read more

Edit: After closer inspection of my furniture, the couch has small tears all down the top of the seam to a cushion and my new clothes dryer was all scratched up. The washer has a dent in the front now and the corners of my shelves were all scratched up. I'd have preferred things faired better because they have in my other moves around the state. As sweet as these guys are, I don't approve of having to patch my couch. I didn't see the inside of the truck before it was moved, so I don't know how all of this happened. Not everything is immediately noticeable to others, but I will always know it's there. Original: I live by myself and needed to move on short notice, reached out to a bunch of businesses on Yelp, and Seth was very quick to respond with an opening and a quote. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and the crew is quick! I didn't have time to pack all the way and the guys started coming up with ways to tote the smaller items together in their blankets. To further complicate the situation, my apartment complex is built on a series of hills and the heat index for our move was 105 degrees! Plus you get a 5% discount if you pay with cash. MASH sends you a reminder email the week before and reminder text the day before as well as the morning of to let you know they are on their way. These guys are FAST! I had a few large furniture pieces but many, many smaller boxes and bins and everything was loaded, moved and unloaded within 3 hours and 15 minutes from Pflugerville to Elgin. These guys were awesome! We moved a few months back and had been meaning to write a review because they went above and beyond. I called around to a bunch of companies to compare prices/availability, and get an over all feel for who we wanted to use. These guys had everyone beat in all the categories. Somehow, there was a mix up in our move date and I totally panicked. We had a super small window to move and somehow they had us down for the wrong date...my fault, their fault....we dont know but they were swamped and totally booked up, but found a way to make it work for us! These guys are SO amazing. Just moved in today and cannot wait to leave a review. SUPER professional, cool trio that moved me out and into my new place. Unfortunately I had to deal with different movers who had not properly reserved the loading zone at my new apartment(completely different movers moving in a different resident). I had to battle these guys all day in order to allow my movers to access the loading zone and elevators. It was extremely stressful. Mash movers handled the situation with tact, professionalism and grace. I was so frustrated that someone would not properly reserve the loading area as I had done MONTHS in advance. The other movers were rude and had a HUGE truck with a TON on stuff. This was also the residents fault for not properly reserving the loading zone and communicating with the office that they were moving in on this day. You guys I cannot say enough... GO WITH THESE GUYS!!! There's a reason they have 5 stars. They handled my stuff carefully and put it all where it belonged with no damage and great attitudes. Believe me when I say... Mash Movers provided the best customer service experience I've ever received in my life. We were in the process of moving cross country to Austin and had planned to meet the movers at our new place at 2 PM. Due to circumstances out of our control, we were delayed on our arrival by almost 6 hours. Seth from Mash Movers kept in constant contact with us throughout the entire day and was able to still reschedule, sending out two movers after hours (around 8-9 PM) that same day to move us in. The movers were extremely efficient, finishing the job in under half the expected time, along with no damage and great conversation after a long, stressful day for us. The initial quote was extremely fair, cheaper than most of their competitors, and I gave the biggest tip of my life on top of it for such a quality experience. At the time, I wasn't too sure how much pricing goes for moves so I waited for responses from the other movers. MASH movers by FAR offered the BEST pricing. Other places add in some random fees here and there like gas, or what not. Someone even charged me even more for a "one man job move" when MASH movers charged EVEN LESS and gave me 2 guys. unbelievable. But the low price DID NOT have any trade offs.
